Absolutely fantastic! Great value, amazing food and they even deliver, still hot! We’ve enjoyed A Taste of Spice for 2 years since we moved here and our neighbours recommended them. You’ve never let us down and more recently you’ve absolutely perfected our order EVERY TIME! Anyone who wants to try this Indian will not be disappointed as we’re incredibly fussy on how we like our meal. Just brilliant, thank you chef! And the guys you’ve all fab! Helen & Jonny 👏👍🏼👏👍🏼💯

Just ordered a curry 17.45 for an 18.30 delivery turned up 18. 55. Bland curry needed putting in the microwave as everything was tepid. Had this curry before not worth what I was charged is the regular chef on holiday because this was rubbish. Most went in the bin.

Absolutely delicious food from this really nice take away, the staff are so pleasant & very helpful....absolutely recommend it.

Absolutely gorgeous as always. Proper lamb in the byriany not that processed rubbish. All the food was hot, delivered on time and really tasty. My original review was 5 years ago and nothing has changed. For many many years I have been going here - I think near on 30 all told. Beautiful food, always delivered piping hot and I have never had any cause to complain.

This is my go to takeaway for curry, nowhere else in the area comes close to the standard that is set by all the staff

I ordered a takeaway meal last Sunday night,butter chicken,mushroom rice,Keema nan. The butter chicken was covered in a coconut sauce,which I don't like and this dish shouldn't have coconut in it,so I was unable to eat it.the rice was OK,the nan bread cold. I did complain to the takeaway but they haven't replied back.Not very professional and I will not be using again.

Watchout for the smaller fellow with the gap in his eyebrow we asked him to park down the street and he got out the car in afull hulk hogan outfit, fancy dress, dropped my curry all over the floor and scooped it up with his arms then demanded we payed in exclusively 2 pence and five pound coins. The keema nan had the consistency of cardboard and had woodlice in, madrass was radioactive with a half-life of 12 years and by the time it had arrived my diet sprite had gone cold. Overall a delectable meal would order again, five stars.

They have the best food ever... I have only being going there for a week but fell in love with the food from the 1st day. And the people are so kind and welcoming. It's the best take away that I have ever been to.

The nan bread was lovley the mushroom pilau rice was nice but the lamb tikka madras was very watery like tomato soup didnt enjoy at all

I have dropped some shockingly cheap orders here, but always spot on, every curry, dhal, rice, naan has been sublime each time, lovely food, lovely people run it. One of the finest Takeaway curries you will get in the area.

First visit and certainly won't be the last, spotlessly clean and the food was top notch. Found it by accident when I parked in York Place to go for a Chinese and thought I'd give it a try, I didn't realise its been there for 40 years. A proper hidden gem 😋

Very poor quality, meat what there was ,was tuff as bullets, taste bland ,mushroom rice claggy. Had extra garlic thiforgot to use a knife when cutting big chunks , extra spinach good job would of been very little in it if had not ,very disappointed.

Simply the BEST! Better than all the rest! We've been with them for many years and never had reason to complain. Once they forgot a small bag of onion salad and we said just forget it until next week. Half an hour later we got a knock on the door and he was back with 2 bags - excellent service! Nice people especially Ali. Their curries are the finest with generous portions and best flavours. We have been using Asian restaurants for 40 years in this area and Rusholme Curry Mile in Manchester and have never had better.

Delicious 😋 I find it hard to get a decent vegi curry but this was great! Full of flavour and really fresh tasting, loads of veg, and not too greasy.

Always a pleasure having a meal from this take away. Lamb, tikka, keema, bhuna with a naan bread, my favourite. Every thing cooked fresh, very tasty, with a quick delivery.

First time l have been to Taste of Spice ( recommend by our son ) ordered 3 meals excellent

Never failed here until tonight ordered chicken balti egg rice chips and garlic nan oh and mango chutney to arrive in 60 mins . Ok we're waiting for it to arrive when looking thro the window and saw a bearded asian bloke going up peoples drive across the road looking anywhere to deliver a curry he eventually came to us knocked on and gave me a bag . Taking it in i proceeded to take items out bof said bag to find mango chutney had loose lid and had leaked everywhere. Anyway the mrs served the meal and we started to eat but the chicken was awful it was really dry and was cut upnin ridiculously large pieces so that was chucked in the bin next the supposed garlic nan bread it was cold chewy and the crusts wete so hard i could of used them as bricks to build a house the chips were ok after a warm in the microwave so we ended up buttering some bread and having a chip buttie . Back to sangams for us thanks for the memories.

Best curry in the area in my opinion, better than the local restaurants. Consistently excellent food and friendly reliable service. Everyone I have spoken to about "Taste of Spice" agrees. Was recommended to me many years ago and has never failed to please. Try the Naga King Prawn!

family used this place for years really nice food and taste good too, they have a really good choice from the menu and their chips yes chips are amazing with mint sauce.

The best Indian takeaway I have had food excellent great value for money

Decent quality and tasty. Price was within reason and the korma was flavourful but I found the chicken was hard and took up most of the tray. The rice was small grained but was decent. Naan bread was the best I have had! I <3 naan that is thick. Had a take out and the service is alright. It's just a shame that they don't accept card payment, like come on! PayPal Here is alright for a business... And it'll let us pay with card.

Been going to ToS for the last 7 or 8 years and have always found the food absolutely fantastic!! Really great quality at reasonable prices 8)
