Taste Of India in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

Terrible service. I didn't go to buy their products. I work as a delivery person, and the treatment is very unpleasant. I suppose they discriminate against people based on their own criteria. If that's the attitude of the staff, I don't think I'd ever come back, not even out of curiosity. We are people first, customers second.

This restaurant should be named as,”Taste of Bangladesh”.The taste of the food we ordered came no where close to Indian taste buds.It seems most of the Indian restaurants in this locality is either run by people of Bangladesh or Pakistani origin and for the purpose of attracting the crowd they name their restaurant after India. Sadly they didn’t live up-to the real taste of India …

We were staying in Kings Lynn for the night and booked a table here. The restaurant was empty apart from a departing couple who complimented the server on the food, which was reassuring. We ordered the prawn puri starter and mixed starter which arrived piping hot and generously portioned with a plentiful mint dip. We both enjoyed these and agreed that they were as good as any we had eaten elsewhere. I chose the lamb passanda and chips and husband ordered chicken tikka masala with pilau rice. The portions were large and again hot and fresh. The lamb was tender and surprisingly gristle free. The chicken was similar. Both meals had a coconut base and the tikka was very red but tasted good and we were too full to eat everything. It’s not haute cuisine but a great place for generous food that tastes good.

Food wasn’t great! Vegetable Jalfrezi was below average. I had to leave the Roti because I wasn’t able to eat Roti as it was hard and burnt. On complaining while paying the bill the staff didn’t bother to say sorry as well. One of the worst food experience in Europe.

I ordered cheese nan bread and they gave me the normal nan, first mistake. I specified that they please NOT put cilantro, and they did, so the entire flavor of the food, for my taste, was ruined. To top it all off, there was a 2 for 1 on Chicken Tikka Masala and I ordered it as it's always my favorite Indian food, but it couldn't be any worse. Apart from the fact that some pieces of chicken were black (literally black), the flavor left a lot to be desired because it was quite tasteless compared to other Tikka Masala, it turns out that I find that the sauce is as if cut, the seasonings are on one side and the water on the other. Horrible experience, and above all, I understand that there was 2x1, no one would eat that. Of course he kept the entire plate.

A small but very well renovated restaurant. Great food and super clean place. Important to add that the bathrooms are sparkling.

For 5 years we have lived for a while on that same street, every time we return to Madrid the visit is mandatory, the price is 10, the food is 11 and the waiter is 12😜❤️ looking forward to returning

Super peculiar place to eat a delicious Indian dinner. The food was very tasty and well seasoned, the place is well decorated with good lighting and is very clean. A super authentic place, without pretensions. Delicious food and spectacular service. The place is clean, well-kept and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The menu is easy to understand, the dishes are delicious and have many options. They ask about the intensity you prefer in the dishes. From what we saw, it is very successful with delivery, we will definitely return.

Food is nice for sharing for 4 person. Ordered briyani chicken and chiken tikka massala. A bit spicy for the kids but good experience eating here. Service by Ahmed is amazing.

I went with my friend for dinner, easy to get to in the center. I am a fan of Indian food so I already knew the dishes, we ordered samosas, naan bread, tikka masala and chicken korma, with pilau rice. Everything was DELICIOUS. To finish, they had the detail of inviting us to some mango lassi that were incredible. The waiter, Ahmed, super attentive and friendly. We will return for sure.

Ordered chicken tikka from uber eats. It was sweet as hell, not at all like what it’s supposed to taste like.

The thali in the google menu is not available. Sahi paneer hardly had 7 paneer chunk and full of food color. Color sticked to hand even post couple of wash. Fried rice hardly gad any veggies.
