Two of us went and we were served by Shipki, who treated us very well, the chicken tikka was delicious and the Chana Masala incredible, but what we liked most was the Biryani rice with lamb. We will return.

We have just dined in this restaurant, the food was the best Indian food we have tasted abroad ever and we are very well travelled. The staff and service was incredible and if we could give more than 5stars we would. Although the restaurant was quiet, we ate at a convenient time to us and missed the rush. Couldn’t fault anything tonight and have already booked in for tomorrow night. Please don’t listen to bad reviews and try for yourself.

Extremely horrible food, NEVER try this place, Dal makhani was yellow, and paneer tikka was yellow as well, cook is using lot of food color, our mouth and hands were yellow all day. Naan was half cooked. Jeet’s rice was served burnt black jeera . See the photos, and in the end they still charge you for full even after complaining them multiple times.

I ordered this on Uber Eats and received dishes so watery they weren’t edible. Even though it was 2 x 1, it was absolutely disgusting and not worth it at all. My suggestion is to pay a little more and eat quality food somewhere else

Waste of money and time, I ordered Panner masala and they gave me tofu. When I asked about it, the owner mentioned it is home made paneer. Also the owner has an opinion that all Indians would eat spicy food by default I guess, I initially ordered panner tikka masala but he said this is not at all spicy go for paneer masala. If you don’t want to sell it, why do you have it on your menu? Also stop addressing your customers as ‘Brother’!! That’s stupid. Overall it’s a decorated place but food has no taste.

Highly recommended place. Adequate portions, nothing heavy, a lot of variety of tasty Indian food. Quiet and cozy atmosphere. I would repeat!

We went with a reservation with a fork discount and when we arrived at 9:30 p.m. the restaurant was empty. We enter and the only man who was in the room tells us that the reservation had not arrived on his tablet. I show him the email with the confirmation and he says that everything is fine but that it still doesn't work. That the only option is to have dinner but without the discount or try it another day. The man did not seem to want to help us and was in a “hurry” to finish the conversation, so we went somewhere else. With the restaurant completely empty, with no one dining inside. A shame.

We ordered through Uber eats, and quite disappointing, the super dry chicken korma thank goodness it has sauce and still, but in cheese naan they brought it burnt and with hardly any cheese, we barely ate.

It’s not north Indian taste for sure, nor it’s closer to it. I’m baffled if they are South Indians or Bangladeshi. But definitely not North Indian taste. They should hire proper North Indian cook. Waiter was friendly and good. But if you are looking for North Indian food , then this place will disappoint you. Roti was hard as cardboard whereas North Indian rotis are soft due to butter and proper covering. Chicken Karahi needs to have a good solid gravy but their is very weak. This non Indian taste served as Indian makes me feel hurt.

Punctual in opening hours, attentive and agile in offering service and very well prepared and seasoned food, it is worth knowing and understanding the Indian culinary art and the fusion of its food with that of other Arab and Asian countries. Good offer about the discounted à la carte prices.

Uber Eats order. This dish is not chicken curry. It is an insult to Indian cuisine. And charging 10 euros for this is absurd. It's sad to see that you are deceiving people here in Spain with this vile thing.

I love their daily menu. Very delicious chicken pakora starter and especially with the sauces that accompany it. For main course Chicken Tikka Masala with Polau Rice. Excellent portions and very rich flavor. Recommended.

Horrendous food! Vegetables were half-cooked and the egg fried rice was as bland you could ever imagine. The server even had the audacity to say that none of the other customers have complained previously, when it’s pretty clear from the previous reviews that thats not the case. As the others have mentioned previously, no other tables were occupied apart from our own. Would never recommend this restaurant ever! Its an insult to India and the people of Madrid, who are being served horrible food.

Spending during Eid al-fitr 2024 in Madrid and trying to find halal food which was similar to Indonesian food. Luckyly, Taste of India offered both taste and comfortable food. Butter chicken, chicken tikka and chicken tandoori were delicious and matched with our taste bud.

Horrible food, they should change name to Bangladesh restaurant instead of taste of India. Palak paneer was not green. The mint sauce was just yogurt. Surprisingly the server was very friendly. No wonder there was only one more table occupied.

This is not Indian restaurant but Bangladeshi. They made Dal Makhani in yellow color which I have never seen before. They used the same curry as Paneer. (They called Poneer.)

Absolutely terrible ownership. My food was never delivered and I literally live 1 street away. The people on the phone were extremely rude and wouldn’t help me settle it. I paid 15 euros and never got the order and he told me “he doesn’t care.” I’ve eaten there before. The reason they do a buy 1 get one free is because it barely has any chicken and not worth it. I didn’t appreciate being yelled at on speaker phone by what sounded as the owner. He could have easily made me another one but they prefer to be rude.

This review is only on samosas which I got for take out. They were not cooked properly, raw shell on inside, bad chutneys. Gave me food poisoning after eating only one. Glad the taste was bad and I threw away the second one.

The food is very delicious, but the portions are small, especially the chicken ones. Still, for the price of the dishes it is a good option to eat in the area. Highly recommend the Dry Fruit Rice and the Chicken Curry.

Our search for good Indian food in southern Europe continues. The mushroom tasted just okay. As with most “so-called” Indian restaurants in Europe, they need to differentiate between Indian and Arabic naan. Vegetable samosa was okay.

Brightly coloured and very clean looking restaurant, too bright perhaps. Not sure how busy this place gets but there was only one other diner when I visited. English menu and English speaking waiter, which helped a lot. Prices were quite low compared to other restaurant in Madrid. No “free” poppadoms or anything like that. Dhal soup was okay, quite small but then again, it was a starter. Chicken tikka was tasty but again, small portion. I see now why the prices are lower than I was expecting. Chicken dansak was tasty also. Rice was rice. I could only see and taste coconut in the Peshwari naan, I liked it though. Overall food was average. The service was not attentive but I didn’t mind being left alone. Will be back to try other items on the menu

Me gustó mucho el sitio. Los platos estaban muy buenos y te ponen bastante cantidad, además me pareció bastante económico. Fuimos dos personas y cogimos arroz y pollo Korma, y tres entrantes, uno de ellos era el peshwari nan y aunque en la carta pone "Frutos secos" es fruta seca, y sabe a Coco pero estaba buenísimo, lo menciono para que lo tengáis en cuenta. Al final, con esos platos acabamos muy llenas por unos 26 euros. Recomiendo reservar porque al rato de sentarnos empezó a llegar mucha gente
