A lovely friendly cafe with excellent food, the usual menus plus daily specials. Good quality food & friendly service. Well worth a visit, you'll not be disappointed!!

Lovely kind staff, nice menu, had a wait a while but worth it. Toilets being refurbished when I was there so cant judge them on how they were. Wholesome homemade food, nice community feel to the cafe

As far as independent cafes go this one is well up there! Popped in here on 7th October after a dentist appointment (sshh don’t tell her!) and the atmosphere is warm, welcoming and very cosy. I spent a lot of my time admiring the decor and their fantastic collection of teapots! Staff are constantly walking around making sure everybody’s happy and nothing is too much trouble for them. I ordered a hot chocolate and a slice of coffee and walnut cake and I struggled to finish it it was the biggest slice I’d ever seen! I don’t frequent Milford often as I’m a Hwest girl but will 100% return when I’m next in the area!

What a fantastic little cafe - food is very good quality, cakes are amazing and the ongoing banter with Mark makes it fun too. Prices are very reasonable as you can tell by number of ‘regulars’ who go there. You don’t get repeat business if you are either poor quality or overpriced - this little cafe is neither. Visited on a number of occasions and each time food was excellent. Congratulations to Mark, Eva and their staff - a benchmark for how cafe should be run.

Twice a year we visit Milford Haven, to visit our relations, they took us to this Cafe 3 Years ago “Taste of Haven” and what a Great Cafe, it so Friendly plenty of banter from Mark the Owner, and he gets loads back from the locals, Great Food & Coffee, it’s worth driving all the way from Essex, Just for a visit to see Mark, & Eva for her Great Cooking.

Absolutely amazing!!!!! We are so impressed with the service and quality of this little gem!! Never felt so welcomed and the kids were made such a fuss of. Cakes were all fresh and home made, they were amazing!! Thank you so much Taste of Haven. Your staff made such a huge impression and what a lovely atmosphere! We also love the name, very clever!

From the moment you enter you are greeted with a warm welcome by the lovely staff! Me and my partner are not from the area but we popped in quickly as we were really hungry for some lunch. I have to say the gentleman who took the time to have a chat with us and put our order through had amazing customer service by the name (Mark) I believe his partner was preparing our choices..well I must say we were absolutely satisfied at a high level because the food was soo bloody tasty and good I almost filed a divorce with my wife and was having thoughts run through my mind to have food here everyday!! That’s how good we had found this place! And it was reasonably priced to! If anything they need to charge more for what they are serving up bloody hell!! I recommend this cafe a 100x to anybody in the area! I’ll be back tomorrow hehe much love!

This unpretentious cafe is so friendly ,it's run by Mark and his partner and is very popular with the locals.The coffee was very good and Mark takes pride in his brew .Dog are allowed in and get served a bowl of water. This place will warm your heart

Due to COVID restrictions I ordered a delivered Xmas dinner for my mother and partner. They were both pleasantly surprised by the fantastic service and quality of food. They could not eat it all at once as so much of it but didn’t waste any of it as so tasty. Really impressed with the whole process. Thank you to Mark and the team for saving Christmas Day!!!

Fantastic and safe service!! The wonderful owner has a depth of knowledge about coeliac disease, and other allergens, and because we called ahead the owner made me a dessert especially! (which was so thoughtful)!! Everything was kept separately so that there was minimum risk of cross contamination!! The staff were kind and took the time to go through the menu to tell me what I could and could not have. I felt so safe and reassured!! Can’t recommend this place enough!!

A Friday before lockdown had the fabulous fish pie which was beautiful especially the cheesy mashed potato topping. A wonderful afternoon tea socially distanced of course a week later. A stunning tea, fabulous hosts and company and a brilliant price. You couldn't ask for more.

Beautiful food, so yummy and the portions are so big. The coffee was so fresh and made to perfection. Eva is such an amazing cook and Mark great and funny host. The rest of the staff have brilliant characters and definitely made the atmosphere one of the kind. That’s why we kept returning, but be fast they get booked quick with the quality they offer.

Popped in for coffee and snacks when passing. Menu is not overly extensive and mainly for snacks or lite-bites, but there is also o a range of daily blackboard meals. We were assured it was all home made and we do not doubt it. The cawl was very nice and the cakes (inspired by Eva's Latvian routes) are excellent and worth a visit just for that. Quality of coffee we thought good too. Service from one waitress and the proprietor, Mark, was personal and enjoyable - though Mark's "stories" should not be taken seriously! Decor and facilities are basic but homely. We noticed that all reviews to date have been 100% excellent, apart from one very recently. I do not know what this person expected or quite why he had a go. This is a basic down to earth cafe in a basic down to earth street, frankly anything more upmarket than that would just not work here. Most customers are locals and regulars whose needs it meets. As for the "staring" gentleman (who could only have been Mark) well we did not experience that at all. He was friendly, funny and attentive. Don't let one review put you off - if you want trendy cafe bars go to the marina area. If you want a good old fashioned style British cafe, give it a try. This visit was during Covid regulations so some things may be different to normal, but nothing we experienced here felt so.

A real disappointment. Bang average budget cafe food with little taste but all allegedly homemade, perhap they’d be better not making their own and buying stuff in that’s half decent. Dirty tables and floor and place stinks of damp, just seems really run down. Staff lack any sense of professionalism and man that served us was very OTT and seemed to be staring at us constantly. Very uncomfortable experience. Coffee was average, cup was dirty. No Covid safety measures in place, avoid at all costs.

My family and I visited the cafe for a late lunch and wow were we impressed! Fantastic food, brilliantly priced, big portions and wonderful service! We can't wait to go back!
