We dropped in unplanned before going to the Odeon next door. We chose the vegie set meal not expecting too much but it was surprisingly really tasty, perhaps the best vegie tapas we've had - and we've been to Andalusia quite a few times. Service was friendly but a little slow as others have commented.

The slowest service I have ever experienced. Me and a friend popped in for drinks and tapas and it literally took 30 minutes wait to get drinks when literally there were 2 tables. Food sat on the counter waiting to go was ignored. Asked to have service charge removed as service so slow. Food was average.

What a gorgeous restaurant! Lovely service, authentic Spanish tapas, mini burgers were a massive hit! My favourite was the chorizo. Kids tapas are great sizes and amazing value for money. My 10 year old cleared his plates. Strawberry cider is a must. Only suggestion would be to title the dishes in English as well as Spanish on the menus. Makes it a touch easier to order and I think would bring more people in to the restaurant. Highly recommend!

I’m gonna be the first of many bad reviews because this place is tragic! Although maybes I won’t be because I’d be amazed if it’s open at the end of the year! We were in late lunch and wagamamas was buzzing and various other spots around the centre had a bit going on, while we were the only people in. That should tell you something however when I’ve been to the one at Eldon a few years ago it was pretty decent. This one though……. Food was desperate, the best dish being iberico ham which is more credit to the pig than the chef! Hard to mess up pan con tomate but they did there best. Worst thing by a mile was the service though! You’ve got a manager sat at a laptop in the corner making it out like she’s a big shot and staff who don’t give a ship (I don’t really mean ship) about customers. There was more staff than punters (there was 2, me and my girlfriend) and it was still a struggle to get anyone’s attention. Rereading this review before I post it I’ll correct myself. I said ill be amazed if it lasts until the end of the year. In reality I give it 3 months!

My friend and I often meet and eat at Nandos in Trinity Square, Gateshead. We love the staff and as a rule we enjoy the food. Today I tried the new Chicken Pickle burger. The overriding problem - it was cold /part frozen. The bread bun, the pickle, the 'melted' cheese and the salad garnish were very chilly. The chicken in the bun was probably warm at some stage but everything else chilled it down quickly. The plate was very cold. I complained - politely - and another Chicken Pickle burger was prepared for me. The replacement was just as bad - very cold again. I asked the server if it had started out frozen and she told me some of it did. Im sure the staff 'cooked' the burger exactly as they were told to but the finished product was very chilly and not pleasant to eat. It will not put us off Nandos but I will definitely not order the Chicken Pickle Burger. I have absolutely no problem with the staff. They are wondeful. The new Chicken Pickle Burger is uncomfortably chilled.

Horrendous service. Staff totally uninterested. No interaction from them when entering, no menus offered. Took ages to get drinks, never returned with sugar for a coffee or even to take food order. Eventually got up and left - it was not busy! Avoid - If I could give no stars I would!

We visited Träkol for Sunday lunch and we left very satisfied. We started with some fresh oysters and Bloody Mary. The main course, roast beef, was perfectly cooked (medium rare), delicious and tender, and came with all the trimmings which were equally scrumptious, especially the cauliflower cheese. I would go back and certainly recommend a visit.
