The potato (aloo) parathas are absolutely fantastic. The best I’ve had in England. The service was second to none as well. 5 stars!

Food is authentic North Indian. Everything tasted like freshly cooked, home made food. People running the place are friendly and polite. I would highly recommend this place if you are one of those who don’t mind basic ambience but seek good parathas, Kadhi, sarso saag, makki roti etc.

Wir haben hier nun zwei Tage hintereinander gegessen und ich muss sagen es schmeckt super lecker und ist dabei noch günstig. Ich empfehle dir das Restaurant wärmstens man kann dazu ehe dhaba oder Imbiss sagen, schmeckt gut dauert dafür paar Minuten länger als gewöhnlich da alles frisch zubereitet wird. Lemon soda muss man probiert haben. Wir kommen wieder danke an das Team.

Tanu's is only recently opened but has already become quite a popular place. The menu differs from some of the places, offering dishes like 'masala omlette', 'tikki in a bun', 'chees and onions grilled sandwich', amongst others. The prices are reasonable, and the food is really tasty. The paranthas are always fresh and mouth watering (especially like the keema parantha), and all other dishes can be adjusted to your liking, more chilli etc. Definitely worth a visit any time in Southall.

Discovered the place by chance when visiting Southall. Ordered Aloo Paratha, Mooli Paratha, Paneer Paratha, Kadhi Pakora, Mutter Paneer and Baingan Bhartha. I must say this is the best home style Indian food I have had outside India. Very friendly service. A must visit place when visiting southall. Will definitely visit again.

Tanu's kitchen was recommended by a work colleague and it didn't disappoint. Two of us had chaat, saag, paratha and the special methi-mooli-maki di roti with drinks, and all for £14.50. The chef, Tanu, will happily adapt the regular menu items to suit personal tastes and make every dish 'just like your mother would make'. The interior decor was simple and clean, and I'm sure with time they will add finishing touches to make it more homely. I hope for years to come the food will stay as good as it is today. Any time we fancy authentic Punjabi dishes we will go to Tanu's kitchen. At this time they are probably the best in Southall for tasty food and excellent value.

Wonderful food, service and all at a reasonable price. very close to home made food , great service and all for 10 pounds per person. Makki di roti is the best that we have ever eaten. The saag was wonderful and the partha made from authentic roasted aubergines. All one can say is Wow....
