I don’t write reviews but I had to this time. Woman on the phone so rude that I didn’t even order. I asked her what the lunchbox deal contains and she kept telling me she didn’t understand. So I asked if I could choose from anything and said of course not there’s a list in the shop if you want to come and take a look!! Never ordering here.

I’ve ordered a Thai Green Chicken Curry probably 100 times in my life . The one I got from Tangs on Sunday was the worst by a mile ! I knew my fate early,when I see chunks of Pineapple in it . As for the Prawn toast,I would love to know what they used,because it certainly wasn’t a Prawn .

Our usual Chinese was closed till new year so we searched for the nearest with best reviews. All my family love Chinese and I have to say we will NEVER be ordering from here again. The salt and pepper chicken was soooo hard and oily. The chicken in the chow mein was slimey and had a weird texture. The won ton soup was extremely fishy. The spring rolls were disgusting my mum was nearly sick. The prawn toast was soggy and very dark in colour, the special fried rice was dry and hard. The seaweed was very oily but soggy at the same time. For 3 people costing £42 we ended up making toasties as we were starving after work. The man on the phone was rude and claimed he's never had complaints, he sent the driver to pick up the food and made me open all container on my doorstep to prove we didn't eat it all. we then only got offered £30 back or we had to go to the restaurant! NEVER AGAIN So to update my post me and my family have been ill through the night!

Such good Chinese. I tried another Chinese a few weeks ago on justeat that was recommended by a friend and it was pisspoor. I didn’t know which else to try I also didn’t want to trial and error Chinese because you can’t eat Chinese food from just anywhere. Anyways I did lucky dip and these lot came up and I dont regret it. Big portions, flavourful food and good customer service. I’ll be back !!

Delicious as usual! I've been ordering from Tang's for 11 years (order every 2/3 months) and definitely my favourite Chinese takeaway in the whole of Edgware and Mill Hill. The large vegetable spring rolls are my favourite and have a fragrant flavour. The sesame prawn toast and mushroom balls are delicious too. The beef chow mein and mixed vegetable chow mein are very good in sauce and flavour and are regular orders of mine. So are the lemon chicken and sweet and sour chicken. I love their egg fried rice and they always give me a bag of prawn crackers for free which is a nice touch. The phone order is taken very quickly and delivery takes around 45 minutes. The food always arrives hot. The only downside is the price of the king prawn chow mein which is a bit steep. They're not the cheapest but you pay for the quality. The chowmein noodles are so good, haven't found another takeaway in the area that comes close. Other than that a superb takeaway restaurant :)

Chinese food is my favourite cuisine and this restaurant is based within a 10 minutes walk of me, but I still do not order here very frequently because the food is just either thoroughly mediocre or even poor. I would highly recommend you avoid any spring rolls as they are disgusting and I could not finish them. I have made better sweet and sour pork myself than the one I purchased here and the special fried rice is very bland. I would not recommend this place.

This is not the first time I've used this takeaway. I enjoyed the food. I often get a headache the morning after eating it. I presume because they use MSG. So I asked them not to use it. They said yes ok. I had my takeaway as usual and woke with a headache. (Bear in mind I never get headaches). I've not been able to shift it all day. So I will find somewhere who don't use MSG. If this isn't a problem for you, the food is good.

Brilliant food tasty full of flavour

The best Chinese take-away in NW London. Having tried another one recently, which was so bad it confirmed just how incredible Tangs is. The pork chop suey is to die for, sliced roast pork in a sweet juice. Chilli beef is another level. Only takes cash if your collecting.

We recently discovered Tangs due to lots of Facebook reviews, and we are now hooked. The most delicious Chinese food in NW London. The crispy shredded beef and pork chop suey are to die for. Try it. You will be hooked too.

Ordered 1st time other week amazing service food well blinding as even so have a few take aways near us this one laps the others and price is fair and had delivery quick hot, and very flavorful recommend the ribs and dumplings!

This is our regular Chinese Takeaway restaurant. The food is delicious and delivery is fast! It always comes quicker than they say...under promise and over deliver...making a happy customer! The portions are large and freshly prepared. Honestly, we rarely go out to a Chinese restaurant any more as this is such good food and great value for money! Our favourite dishes are: Fried Seaweed, Satay Chicken, Salt & Pepper Chips, Salt & Pepper Chicken, Chicken with Black Bean Sauce, Sweet & Sour Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, Chicken with Crispy Noodles, Vegetarian Singapore Noodles. Absolutely recommend trying them!

My favourite Chinese takeaway in the area, I have ordered maybe 30 times over the past few years! My favourite are special fried rice, sweet and sour pork, hot and sour soup, my husband’s favourite are spring roll ( large), crispy duck. Food comes quick and hot! And just made another order 10 mins ago:D

One of the worst chinese take aways. Ordered the dumplings which were full of oil. Duck was average. The chicken in the main dish was inedible. I'm very surprised in view of all the good reviews!

There are lots of Chinese takeaways in the area and we've never found one which made us put it down as our favourite to use regularly. We're now planning to use this one for a second time, so that definitely counts for something.

The best Chinese Takeaway in Mill Hill North West London ! All food is piping hot and prepared to a high standard. We tried many starters including the crispy seaweed, spring rolls (amazing), hot and sour soup. For mains we tried the ribs - large and tasty, plus Singapore Vermicelli (Noodles). The prices are very reasonable. Note that it is cash only but there is a machine next door outside the Zpost Office.

Have found our new Chinese, have used this takeaway 3 times now and on each occasion the quality has been second to none,the order is double checked when completed to ensure no mistakes before cooking,you can easily request peppers or what ever to be removed also,pricing is very reasonable also.Delivery also available from 17.00hrs

Love it. It's our go to for Chinese, We live in Coindale and have ordered with these guys more than 6 times I would estimate. Its so nice when you finally find a good chinese. We really like the sweet and sour chicke, the food is fresh and not greasy at all.

Disgraceful experience tonight.... 1hour and a half for delivery. They said that there was only 2 orders for delivery and took over 45 minutes since he left the shop... driver turned up with music blaring. Chinese was cold. Lost a good customer.

Their delivery time is around an hour but pickup is ten minutes. Their menu is not online but others have put pictures in the reviews. Their noodles and chinese dishes are excellent. Their Thai curry is really really bad in comparison - I've made it better myself. The chicken in it tasted really weird and had a texture like custard. Avoid their curries, their noodles are MUCH better!

The food arrived EARLY, HALF AN HOUR EARLY! I guess in some ways it was good but in other ways it wasn't! I was told 3/4 of an hour so for them to arrive after 15 mins and the food to still be horrible is intriguing! I ordered beef with spring onion and ginger, the beef was well over cooked and very chewy ((verging on) rubbery). That wasn't the only dish that was overcooked and horrible as the house special fried rice was too! It came with the usual bits, squid, pork, prawns etc. all of it was overcooked and horrible including the rice! I literally live straight down the road from the take-away and around where I live there is not one decent chinese. There are in surrounding areas (if you want to pay a little bit for delivery from some of them, others don't charge), but that is not near me in Mill Hill. Where I am this place probably is the best one which tells you how bad the others are! For a place to serve up grotty, overcooked, rubbery, horrible food which is what I got from Tang's and still be possibly the best in Mill Hill it doesn't say much for the other chineses!

Just had our first takeaway from Tangs. We were blown away. The lady who took our order was great and read it all back to us and told us the cost. It arrived when she said it would via a really courteous delivery driver. The portions were generous and really excellent. The food was tasty and not gloopy or greasy. We had starters, soup, duck and then mains. It was all great...now we’re fit to burst😂 Highly recommend Tangs.

By far the beat Chinese in the local area. Never ever had a bad meal. Not oily like most Chinese takeaways and is always fresh and a friendly service.

Having recently moved to the area I decided to try out all of the local chinese takeaways. Tangs is most definitely the best one I have tried. They also offer a delivery service which is very handy if I am unable to pop out to collect the order. They do the most amazing honey spare ribs and the best spicy beef too. Super friendly service - polite and nothing has ever been a problem. Multiple visits / deliveries since I found this little gem! Highly recommended by me and anyone who has eaten their delicious food with me.

Average Chinese food. It's what I've come to expect from London establishments after moving from Manchester, where the flavours of the dishes are better. PS Your spring rolls were not crisp, but very oily and soggy.
