Tandem Tea Room in Isle of Wight

This is a really superb establishment which oozes amazing service and top quality food in generous portions. All this in an immaculately kept country style restaurant. Pricing is very competitive, especially when you consider the generous portions. The cakes are worthy of special mention, they're very fresh and baked by someone who has a passion for producing top quality confectionary. The Tandem Tea Room is definitely a must visit tea room if you're looking for top drawer food and beverages in the Brighstone area of West Wight.

We visited on my birthday for lunch and it was very cosy and seemingly quite popular. We enjoyed tuna mayo baguettes and the crunchie milkshake I had tasted great and was fully loaded. The only disappointment was they didn’t have any chocolate cake which I’d set my heart on, so I opted for the next best thing which was a brownie. I would gladly return in the future.

What a lovely Tea Room this is. Popped in for tea and cake, made very welcome as we visitors here. The ladies were so friendly and Happy. Tea room cosy and Warm. Dog friendly too. Could have stayed there all afternoon. Bet in the warmer months sitting outside would be lovely. Definitely worth a visit, other food looked very nice . We are SO lucky to have this in the middle of our village - it’s definitely become our villages beating heart. Run by great women it’s warm, friendly, food is great & very reasonably priced! Let’s hope we never lose it.

My daughter and family had recently moved to Brighstone. This was our first visit and my daughter suggested we go here for lunch. Great choice ! Service and courtesy was superb. We all had different meals and all were delicious. Everyone was well pleased and vowed to return. Please don't change anything !

We received the warmest welcome from all the staff The selection of freshly made sandwiches, cakes, scones was lovely We came here for my brother and sister in laws Anniversary, they had decorated a plate to spell Happy Anniversary which was a lovely touch We highly recommend and will definitely return x

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast this morning, staff were friendly and attentive. Have also enjoyed tea and home-made cake at other times, highly recommended and fair prices.

We visit this establishment on a regular basis and always find the food, whether cooked breakfasts or lunches excellent. All staff and the owners are friendly, polite and helpful regarding dietary requirements and it is a pleasure to enjoy well cooked and presented meals from the varied menu in relaxing surroundings. Would also trying homemade cakes which are superb.

We all had a fantastic ploughman's lunch and pot of tea. We also all had a piece of cake to takeaway. Good value for money food and lovely staff.

We visited today for a scone and tea, the tea room and outside area are very pretty. I just find this place the best to kill an hour and if the sun is out it’s a great sun trap. The staff are super nice and the food is equally as great.

Fabulous cream tea with lashings of clotted cream and even fresh strawberries. Warm freshly baked scones- sweet and savoury. V friendly & helpful staff. Perfect cycling stop! Indoor or outdoor , cycle racks too.

Great value and quality food served with a smile. Amazing home-made cake selection, good portions and low priced. Dog and cyclist friendly.

This has to be a contender for my favourite tea room. We happened upon it by chance this afternoon, a party of eight adults shortly before the café closed for the day. We were made so welcome and the food was incredible. My little party can thoroughly recommend the scones (plain or cheese), the brownies, the fudge cake, the flapjack and the apple pie. Good coffee too!

Perfect portion. Good value. Lovely service. 😍. Six of us had breakfast. It was served very fast. Staff were attentive and chatty. Lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

We found this lovely tea room with outside seating - had a delicious home made cheese scone with butter, my husband had the tasty chicken and bacon jacket potato - both with coffees. Staff were friendly and atmosphere relaxed. Very reasonable prices. Cakes are home made - the plum and cinnamon cake with cream for pudding was yummy.
