I had an absolutely amazing time celebrating my 40th birthday at Tall lounge. The atmosphere was incredible cool and beautiful. The staff was so calm, good listeners, friendly and were very attentive to details compared to most Nigerian restaurants. The food was totally amazing I took more and ordered for takeaway for my friends. The suya and lobster tail was my favorite meal, grilled fish and plantain was hot and tasty. Music was great. The DJ was a vibe. I will dine and celebrate there again and again. Thank u Tall Team for making my birthday fantastic .

I was welcomed by a nice staff in an awesome atmosphere. Clean and neat. Booked a table but came in 1hr and 30min late and I was welcomed without any complaints. Nice food especially their suya and Gizdodo. Tall lounge is worth every penny. Great service

Online says the close at 11 but they are never actually open only for about 3/4 hours in the day. Called and asked if they were opened today last on the phone said yes and did say I should reconfirm I told her I’ll be coming. Got there about 9:20pm and she said they are closed she can’t take my order. But I was told the kitchen closes at 10:30pm Had about 4 customers in the whole restaurant which she said was a booking. Fair enough then said she can offer me take away. I came to sit and eat and enjoy my meal with a cocktail being told it’s closed and I can only have takeaway is unprofessional as your supposed to close at 11pm. I don’t recommend this restaurant if I’m being honest. They open for fun

Paid £500 to rent Tall Lounge. This is NOT a deposit, and it does NOT contribute to the final bill. The food, priced at £45 per person, was supposed to include a starter, main course, and dessert, but desserts were not provided. Invitees were required to pre-order their food, but the restaurant was not prepared for extras, resulting in insufficient food for some guests. The food took 3-4 hours to arrive, many people went without their meals, and there was a shortage of Abula and pounded yam. Jollof rice lacked assorted meat, and when asked, they said it was a vegetarian option, even though no guests pre-ordered their rice dishes to be vegetarian. Avoid hiring this restaurant for your celebration. It leads to a stressful experience for you and your guests with delayed meals, not enough food, and an overpriced final bill that is not worth it.

Don’t waste your money. The aesthetic in Tall Lounge is nice and it is small, but if you’re going to book this place for more than 10 people, don’t bother. If you’re hosting a party, you’re charged a £500 deposit (which you do not get back, and it’s not added to the final bill), as well as £45 per person. They cannot deliver, the food takes hours to prepare, yet it is cold. How does that make sense? Jollof rice was hard, gizdodo had no flavour. The tilapia was ok. The staff are also very rude and cannot communicate well. You also must pay for containers to take your food home by the way. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

First of all they did not have dessert even though it was on the menu, the fried rice was stale, the asun had cloth material in it, the manager was rude. The good thing was that the music was great, the yamarita was tasty, the pina colada was good. Overall I would give this restaurant 2 stars.

The decor is beautiful. My experience was neither the best nor the worst. I feel that the food and drinks are way too expensive for example, the cocktail is £12. The suya beef was decent a bit too spicy as I do have quite a low tolerance for spice I asked for the extra spice to be put on the side of my food. Yet, it wasn't it was added on top of my food which was annoying, the fried rice was nice though. I was very taken aback that i needed to pay £2 to have my food packed away. Never have I gone to a restaurant and I needed to pay for a takeaway this should be standard. When I asked about this practice one of the workers said it's to encourage people to eat in the restaurant rather than go home. But that doesn't make sense because it's perfectly reasonable to feel full and want to eat later but not necessarily there. Myself and my friend were asked to leave around half past midnight which was way before the closing time. I think it's because they wanted to close earlier which is fair enough, but they need to update the website with the correct closing time information. I would recommend if you're going to book a late table for around 9, 10 or 11 pm on Saturday make sure you call the restaurant in advance and confirm with them that the closing time is at 2 am. As you wouldn't want to be rushed out unexpectedly. Also it was quite cold so it was quite uncomfortable being there. Overall, it's not a terrible place and I would say give it a go as you may have a better experience than me. Yet, I personally would not be attending there again.

Splendid... Awesome food, Service and Ambience

Went there with wifey and the kid, slightly disappointed that the lamb shank was not available however the steak and lobster tail option was nice,for a Nigerian Restaurant,the portion was questionable though,did not find it filling and had to go next door to Tastees take away for a Chicken Pie.I think what got me was the price,it was really expensive for a South London Restaurant considering the competition in relatively close proximity such Enish,805,Calabar Kitchen etc,I paid just under £170.00 (including service charge)for three of us,will definitely just stick to my cheaper restaurants in the area where the food is just as good next time.

This is a new lounge with a lovely ambience and a choice of some bespoke good quality food and cocktails. I have been there a couple of times due to the good experiences.

Do not go here! Firstly they have mice. Secondly I’ve been here for two of my friends birthday dinners and on both occasions the customer service was poor, so many people never received their food after waiting 4-5 hours. The celebrants were both so stressed, as the staff’s coordination was extremely poor. Lastly the food is DISGUSTING, do yourself a favour a go to ENISH!

I visited this restaurant for one of my friends birthdays and I must say it was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. People waited 3-4 hours for their food to arrive and others never received their food at all after paying in advance. Also, I’m not entirely sure about their hygiene standards as on two occasions people had seen mice running through the restaurant. Overall, I have to say my experience here was extremely disappointing and I will not be returning.

Beautiful restaurant. I imagine this place will be good if you are booking 5 or less people. We reserved the whole restaurant (capacity 60), we pre-ordered and they struggled to serve us all in good timing. The service were very slow. They should have hired more people for the night. It took 4 hours. They took payment before the food. The mains were nice 8/10. The starters were ok 6/10.

Great welcoming at reception. The decor was modern luxe and atmosphere was inviting, a mixture of dates, friends and celebratory parties. The food was nice however the options felt limited particularly for us. The salt content in the pepe soup and asun was too high. Service was warm, informative and attentive and putting in good effort, although they were rushed off their feet and seemed flustered. Therefore, things took a tad long. Would visit again with less picky eaters, and give it another go.
