I ordered 3 breakfast type sandwiches for work colleagues - never again. The staff are clearly not capable of running and organising a cafe. They managed to get most of the orders wrong, took a long time to make even a simple sandwich and had the audacity to complain that a customer was rude when he complained that his order was incorrect!! Shocking service. They attempted to send me out with only 2 sandwiches and I had to go back in and request the third sandwich that I had originally ordered and paid for. The staff then managed to get it wrong once again and it took 2 attempts to correct it. When I returned to work and opened all the bags, the contents of the sandwiches were not what I ordered. Avoid this place

Great breakfast at a bargain price,friendly staff would definitely recommend and will pop in anytime I’m in the area

I don’t give 5 stars but this cafe really does deserve it. I have been visiting this cafe for over five years and they have consistently looked after me, always polite and really good bacon and egg. Absolutely recommend this cafe

Ordered online from here for the first time this week and I was very impressed. Food came around the recommended time and the food was still hot when it arrived. The food portions were bigger than expected which was a bonus and we all loved everything we ordered. I would highly recommend

Just called in as I was working nearby, had 2 cold Sandwiches one chicken mayo and one cheese savoury. They were delicious, will be back.

Sausages was stale. Beans cold. Not impressed at all. Service was sub standard. Disappointed as I went off the back of 5 star reviews. Will not be returning. Would not recommend this place.

We go here to eat quite often,it is always beautiful food,presentation on your plate is excellent piping hot and I always finish the lot the customer service is great good banter with the staff is always a plus

Take a break is traditional greasy spoon cafe and certainly one of the very best examples in Hull. Good value and well prepared Traditional English cooked breakfasts with all the trimmings are the speciality.
