Foud this cafe about 9month ago its great Food always hot fresh nicely presented. Owners and staff helpful friendly and very welcoming. What more can you say .

This hidden gem is defiantly worth a visit. Found it by accident but so glad we did. Excellent food at very reasonable prices. The staff made you very welcome and the atmosphere was great. From what we could see there were a lot of regulars, which speaks for itself. Will defiantly be going back.

Lovely food - both hot and cold dishes. Plenty choice . All prepared fresh - nothing plastic wrapped or out of a freezer. It’s home cooking with a chef’s twist. All served with a smile . A nice welcome , then sit down, relax, wait for your freshly prepared food to come out of the kitchen ( which you can see is spotless ) and enjoy. Yes, ‘take 5’ and be thankful there are little gems like this .Considering the huge hike in the cost of ingredients lately, it’s great value for money. well done all at Take 5.

What a pleasant lady who served us and the food was fantastic. Based next to Marquis Motorhomes and Caravans dealer it ideal to be able to get a good feed at very reasonable prices. Look forward to going in again.

I’ve visited a few times over the last couple of months. Excellent service and value for money. Food is prepared fresh and arrives piping hot. Home made cakes are also delicious 😋 Toilets very clean and car parking on the back. Service is excellent Highly Recommended to visit 👌

i called in for lunch yesterday while waiting for an appointment. Quite a small place but very clean and all food is freshly prepared and was of good quality. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, I will call again!

Great to find a cafe where the staff care about customers' satisfaction and provide reasonably priced delicious food. The chips are the best we have tasted for a long time, being hot and crisp. The portions are generous and the food had obviously just been made to order. Some of the customers seemed to be regulars, which speaks for itself. The lady who served us was pleasant, friendly and professional. Impressive indeed...we'll be back!

Tucked away in Preston Docklands almost opposite the driving test centre this small cafe gives pleasant service, excellent food and reasonable prices. Well worth a visit.

Always pop in here when visiting Marquis Motorhomes & never disappoints. Good food & friendly service. Dogs not allowed inside but tables & water bowl under cover outside so no problem. Solo visit today & thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast, thank you.

Always had great service here, been a few times over the years, and its not lost its touch. Food, and drinks are normally priced and they also have some home made cakes to boot....ps the chicken curry and chips very tasty.

Found this little coffee shop by chance. Good coffee and cake at cheaper than usual prices. Welcoming and great attitude from friendly welcoming staff 👍🏼 Will definitely visit this establishment again .

What a lovely little cafe, never knew it was there. Have to say very good value for money, and will absolutely be going again. So much more to try. Just wish I had time to sit in rather than take out.

My husband and myself are regulars at Take 5 going once or twice a week. The food is excellent, home made and very reasonably priced. Home made soup, all day breakfasts and tasty sweets are especially good. They also do roast dinners on Wednesdays. We have taken several friends and would recommend it to anyone.

Called in this morning . What a fantastic little place and staff so nice it will be a weekly visit for us .

My daughter was at an interview. We'd travelled 90 miles and had the smell of motorway service food in our nostrils! Having resisted and having time to kill I checked Trip and this place seemed to tick all the boxes! 2Full Monty's did not disappoint! What's more we still had change from a tenner for 2 all day breakfasts with everything included and very full bellies. Excellent when your craving a substantial Brit breaky

We eat breakfast here regular its good value excellent well cooked food very clean,table cloths even, staff very friendly.The roast dinner on Wednesday is brill and if you want somewhere for a Christmas lunch there is no where better but you need to book

What a little hidden gem, a lovely little cafe tucked away on the industrial side of Preston Docks, spotlessly clean, really nice friendly staff, very good food and great value. Now you'd think a cafe here would be full of truck drivers and there'd be chips with everything but nothing could be further from the truth, it's well decorated has table cloths and has a light and airy feel. They really deserve to do well, we had a couple of toasties and two cups of tea and it was real quality, fresh crunchy salad, plenty of filling on the toasties and a generous pot of tea which gave us five cups. This place is going to be a regular haunt , but as another reviewer has said you do feel like keeping it to yourself - it's that good.

Take 5 is situated on an industrial estate near to the Preston Dock. The café is clean there are a variety of daily papers to read. I found the food to be well presented wholesome and

My office is a 5 minute walk away and since moving I've been regularly for lunch. Staff are always friendly and the meals are very reasonable. The breakfast in particular is a good choice!

I love this little cafe. When I arrange to meet friends that haven't been before they are not too sure where I mean or what to expect. Once they eat there they enjoy it as well. They have plenty of choice from healthy jacket potatoes and salad with a choice of fillings to scampi and chips. They do a full roast dinner one day a week. They have large homemade cakes and scones. They staff are friendly and the place is warm and welcoming. I pay about £4.50 for a bottle of water and a large jacket potato, salad and prawns.

There's a new coffee machine at Take Five, so it's even more worth going! The food is freshly cooked and the prices are very attractive.

We have used this coffee shop quite regularly and even when the previous management was in charge it was good food and value for money.

I popped in last Friday morning for a take away breakfast. This was my first visit. The cafe appeared clean and well looked after. I was also surprised at the prices. A full breakfast to take away for less than £4. I have experienced similar deals. Well, I was taken aback. The food was fresh, well presented and of good quality and quantity. For my £4 I got, 2 sausages, bacon, beans, egg, black pudding, tomato, 2 slices of toast and a coffee.

Good food offering exceptional value.Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent all day breakfasts and Italian style coffee machine. Easy to access if visiting Preston riversway area. Have called in on numerous occasions for brunch ,coffee or light lunch.

Caame for breakfast, very nice place, clean and the staff were very polite, food arrived quickly. Would recommend this coffee shop
