Warm and welcoming service. Food is good, I was suspicious about how authentic it can be like most other restaurants. But apparently they have an indian chef and a chinese chef who make sure the flavour is right no matter you order indian or Chinese. good place will come again.

We were disappointed with the food from this restaurant which seems to have sadly gone downhill. We have eaten in many times and had several deliveries. The naan seemed like it was stale and about 2 days old, the 'complimentary' poppadums... are they meant to bend without breaking? The Gobi manchurian, normally delicious lacked the same quality taste as previously. This was a delivery, when I phoned them to complain they weren't interested...

Like everyone has said the pops and dips arrived Ada we sat down-but you are charged for them! Staff were very attentive, although a few inaccuracies on our order. But worse of all I spent the night on the loo following.

This was a first visit to a very local, for me, restaurant. Very pleased I tried it. It was early evening and not busy when I arrived but other customers soon came in and were clearly regulars - which is a recommendation in itself. Service was very efficient and it was very pleasing to be given complimentary poppadums etc. Food soon arrived and was very good. Special mention must go to Esther the very nice waitress.

Delicious food. Very well presented. You have to try the First Class Lamb curry! A delicious dish served to the officers during the RAJ. Will be going back - lovely staff and great service

My housemates came upon the newish (it opened in February) Takaa Tak in Ealing by chance. They recommended it and I've since been twice with other friends. We all approve of the food, the value and - generally - the service and we're surprised that more people don't know about the place. At the moment, sadly, there's no need to book. "Takaaa Tak" is Hindi slang for "perfect" and that's just about true. The menu is Indian and Indo-Chinese and there's also an "Old School British" section. Starters are mostly £7.99. What they do to the Gobi is a mystery but we've never had cauliflower like this before. We also emptied the dish of Chaana Aloo Tikki Chaat - potatoes with chickpeas. Portions tend to be huge. For my main I had the tasty Awadhi Chicken Tikka Biryani (£10.99), on which I drizzled Kuchumber Rita (£2.99). There was so much that I asked for a doggy bag and had the remainder for lunch next day. My friend Ed chose Prawn Korma (£11.99) from the Brit menu and there was enough sauce to take home too! The fat Naans are irresistible. We had garlic and coriander (£2.49) and Peshwari (£3.99). I can also recommend the South African Chenin Blanc (£19.99) and of course there's Kingfisher beer. We all had desserts (£3.99) because they're delicious. Matka Kulfi (Indian ice cream) comes in its own pot and is the best I've ever had. Just one thing: poppadoms and chutneys came immediately without asking and were replenished. But tap water should come straight away as well, shouldn't it?

Really disappointed after reading so many glowing reviews. Firstly, broken poppadoms served as soon as we sat. There wasn't even one each. They came without us ordering them but then we were charged an eye watering 5.99. Chutneys only came with one spoon for three dips. Tables sticky. Had to ask for clean plates. Services wasnt brilliant with water being spilt by the server not taking care. Wine was available in 3 measurements served and charged for 250ml when the size wasn't requested and I'm not even sure the glass held that amount. Food was hot, served quickly but it wasn't exceptional.

The food at the restaurant was amazing and the staff were very tentative. Went to the restaurant to celebrate my graduation and was very looked after! Good food, great staff and overall a lovely experience.

Had a fantastic evening at Takaa Tak. The food here is so good and would highly recommend. The starters and curries were all delicious. Favourite being the Chicken 65! The staff are fantastic and very hospitable. They were great ensuring you got the spice level you wanted for any curry. Highly recommended!

Under new ownership from what was a well-established and very good Indian restaurant - but seems to have at least maintained that standard and if anything, improved upon it. Excellent service and the refurbishment has made the place nice & bright

Had enjoyable meal here. Friendly staff, especially Sanjay and the two chefs. Would recommend the chicken in black bean sauce. The basmati rice is fluffy & plentiful. Wide range of dishes and drinks to choose from. Not local but so good we'll be back!

We took our friends here for a meal when they were visiting London, and chose Takaa Tak as we’ve already been here a couple of times and enjoyed it. It hasn’t been open very long but already Takaa Tak is proving popular and we certainly weren’t disappointed last night. The service was excellent, and the food even better. Between us we had a variety of dishes: Karahi Lamb, Lamb Mirchi Lagi, Prawn Jalfrezi, as well as naan, jeera rice and vegetables. Everything was delicious. Considering it was a midweek night it was quite busy so I’d recommend booking to be sure of a table. This is a great addition to the restaurants in Northfield Avenue and I recommend it for its very tasty food and friendly service. We will definitely be back!

Delicious, original Asian fusion cuisine: a combination of classic Indian dishes and Chinese dishes with an Indian twist. The best naan bread I've ever had. Amazing, friendly service from people who are clearly passionate about what they do. More people need to know about this place!

We dined at this restaurant on Wednesday evening and had delicious curry. We are spoilt for choice with Indian restaurants in Northfields but this may be our new favourite curry house. Lovely staff too. Muta Paneer was heaven. It's new so needs some help to...

My favourite Chinese takeaway in Ealing! Good prices, tasty food and decent portions. Never had bad food from here. I live in Acton now but still only get my Chinese food from this place.
