Taj Mahal in Oldham

Tried taj mahal multiple times and each was met with outstanding service, excellent food and quality prices. Feel very looked after by staff very polite and friendly always a treat to come back would highly recommend

Cold chicken stale poppadoms sauce was wrong rang the restaurant he was no help needs sorting as I'm sick of getting cold food

the onion barji was burnt 🔥. The strawberry cheesecake was a trifle in a plastic cup . The kebab was smothered in an hot sauce when I'd asked for medium . delivery was on time . and the Nan bread was nice .

There were no salad on the kebab, donner meat was spicy, chips were plain and lots of bad bits.

Ordered a lamb bhuna, rice, garlic naan and I was definitely not disappointed, the food was lovely, just the right amount of spice and the meat was very tender. It came right on time too which is another bonus

My veg rice was unexpectedly a bit too spicy hot. Otherwise all very happy with our meals both times that we've ordered from Taj Mahal. Pleasant staff and delivery on time.

Absolutely a joke this place.. cold food in temp, my curry was way to hot when I requested a little mild pls,, my sons donner was so small and I ordered a large, my son rung the place and he called my son bro, what kinda business are you running? I work in the food business and this is a joke, I want a refund!!!!! 2 out if 10 coz my poppadoms was OK.. I had to cook for him later as was still hungry that was the whole point coz I was to tired didn't want to cook tonight never again!!! Will I order frm here and I've told Facebook to 🥀

First and last time time food was absolutely disgusting.

I asked for medium sauce on my kebab but it definitely wasn’t medium it almost blew my head off and I ordered a portion of seekh and to me didn’t look like they was cooked properly so binned them. If I am being honest it’s put me off from ordering from these again.normally food is nice but not tonight it wasn’t

Lovely bunch of people, very fast and efficient service with Food that tastes out of this world... Especially the Samosas and Pakora.

Ordered a feast kebab with salad and sauce via uber eats. Food was cold on delivery and no salad or sauce in bag. Kebab was very small, much less meat than normally on this type of kebab and not very tasty. Won't use again.

Ordered 2 kebabs last night 24.9.23 smallest kebabs I've ever seen, more bread than meat and was totally tasteless. Cheap ingredients I'll not order ever again. On the plus side the salt was OK.

Ordered a large kebab on pitta and honestly i couldnt believe it…. i have held more meat in my hand for free!! … guy on the phone said this is his idea of a large portion! 🫣 kebabs are nice but unbelievably small!!

Price almost doubled since last in, had donner on Nan, more bread than meat, no coleslaw put on, asked for hot sauce so it was drenched with it, arrogantly said “cost of living” was not affecting them, not surprised with twice cost for half portion. One customer lost for ever

As always with the Taj Mahal, this was a spur of the moment stop off,after a busy shift at work & on my way home,the Taj temptation took hold. A solo diner,but in need of a spicy kebab,mixed tikka on nan was about to hit the spot. Order placed,only a short wait,fresh nan,fresh salad,plenty of chicken & donner meat,topped with a little mild mint sauce,what better. The Taj is clean,friendly staff,i need to try more from the menu,hopefully next time..

This was my little bit of a treat to myself, after a day in work & passing the Taj Mahal on my way home,what better place to stop. I'm quite easy to please, so it was a quick donner on pitta withe the usual salad & mint sauce..a good amount of donner meat,fresh salad always makes a great kebab. The place is clean & will maintained,will highly recommend & i'm sure to call in again soon.

Well i will give u guy 10 out of 10 for that. Food was amazing. Donna meat and chicken tikka was perfect 👌 kids loved there's 100% well done. Food and timing was amazing. Very very impressed 👍

My friends and I attended looking forward to a scrumptious evening snack, however I have been been left feeling completely perplexed with my ‘cheesy chips’ not only was I served an amount the homeless would turn their nose up to I was charged £3.30! In conclusion I will not be attending again and would strongly recommend to never get cheesy chips from here ever at any point in your lives. Just go to maccies across the road. Yours sincerely One unimpressed customer.

So i ordered my good from here at 6pm. Tonight. Not onky dif it not turn up when i was told. When it did; it was freezing. I normally don't have any problem with this take away. But tonight it was shocking. With no reason to why it has taken so long? #notahappybunny! 😠

As always it's one of those,i just fancy moments,this one was.. A quick pit stop on the way home from work,chicken tikka on pitta bread,salad & sauce..fresh salad right in front of you,soft pitta hot chicken...5* Will call again.

What can I say? This has to be the best curry house in Oldham. The chicken madras is literally a volcano on a plate. Tasty, hot and a very sizable portion. I would recommend Taj Mahal to anyone, try it..... You will bit be disappointed.

This has always been the place to go for a kebab, however I believe ownership has changed and the food isn't as good. I would recommend this place but did prefer the old Taj Mahal

I often pass on my way home from work, get to the traffic lights & decide.. On this evening a Donna kebab was in order, you can't go wrong. salad & sauce.. The place was closed for a while but for the better, full revamp & freshen up.. Great.. it's been there ages, sure I had my first kebab from there,back in the day & it won't be my last..

Had a takeaway curry from here the other night, it was very tasty and the portions were decent. I think this will be a regular treat for us!

Over the years we've had soooo many meals from "the taj" its untrue! Tasty kebabs, nice curries, great staff this place is spot on. Even my mother and father are big fans. Always consistant - always good :-)
