Blue Tiffin in Oldham

My husband and I went for food tonight with our 2 boys and I could not be more impressed. From walking in to leaving, everything was perfect. The food was beautiful and the service was outstanding. Some of the servers took time to speak to us, particularly entertaining our youngest, he left with multiple gifts from the staff. I would highly recommend to anyone (Get the Lamb Bhuna!) We will be making regular visits!!

This is our go-to place when we have a hankering for a curry. We tend to order for delivery rather than dine in, but the food always arrives speedily and is warm on arrival. On the rare occasion something has been missed from the order, they have sent it out immediately and it has arrived quickly - no matter how small. It's by no means the cheapest takeaway you can order (but it's also not ridiculous) however it is consistently good and worth the small premium.

Went for a birthday treat. Call on a Sunday for the buffet and we all enjoyed it.

Food is great, staff are great, atmosphere is great. Been going here for years, very low turn over of staff so you get used to faces etc. what a truly lovely place.

Normally we never have a bad word to say about this place. But tonight’s takeaway was terrible, stale starters with one of them missing all together and main pretty much inedible. Tasteless with raw onion. Appreciate it’s New Year’s Day, but that was awful

Went for Christmas dinner yesterday 6 adults 5 children. We was booked for 3:30 but we was stood outside for over an hour waiting to get in and be seated. The Christmas dinner was shocking turkey slices from a packet, with a tiny dollop of mash with lettuce cucumber and tomato. The soups were cold as where the cake and custard. The women's toilets were disgusting and filthy. The service was very poor. They had clearly over booked by far to many and couldn't cope. That was our first time out for Christmas dinner never again.

Our party of 13 were booked in for 5:30pm, finally got seated at 6:40, took another 20 minutes for our order to be taken after having to shout someone over. Had our mains around 8:30 but dessert never arrived even after telling them we hadn't had it and we were sick of waiting by 9:30. Those of us with the curry enjoyed our food but the traditional dinner was shocking. Cold and served with salad and gravy? Young waiters had no idea what they were doing. Veggie and meat dishes were mixed up multiple times. Weren’t asked if we wanted drinks once so just had to go to the bar. Bad experience all round and really put a dampener on our Christmas Day.

Indian food was fine, English menu was shocking and cold. Place was rammed,very loud, couldn't hear yourself think. Staff seemed to be in chaos. Long waits for food. They'd definitely bitten off more than they could chew.

Christmas day with the family it was awful like a cattle market

Went for Christmas dinner today and all I can say is disgrace. We booked for 9 adults and a baby for 5.30 and didn't get seated until 6.45 were we was faced with wet chairs and no cutlery needless to say we tried to make the best off but by 8 o'clock we only had our starters after complaining the waiter came and reminded us that we owed £185 for a meal we hadn't received. Can honestly say the worst Christmas dinner we have never had. Absolutely shocking.

Been to Blue Tiffin for meals several times and Went to there today for Christmas Dinner It was great well organised good atmosphere food was really good with a choice of traditional Christmas or Asian Staff were really professional Father Christmas was ther giving presents to the kids and a disco after the meal Well done all at Blue Tiffin we really enjoyed ourselves You are very professional you should be really proud of yourselves

First time ordering, never again. Food below average, curry tasted artifical, lam chop starters was bland, also ordered onion baji, was definitely old know this from experience. Also forgotten some items of the order, rang back to inform, and person on the other side was blunt, and seemed uninterested. Not a good first experience, never again!

The best Indian restaurant in oldham by far,and the best chef ekhy,the food is amazing.The staff maz, zahid,rahman are always polite,friendly and make you feel welcome always.👌

I attended an event in the function room which was surprisingly quite large The event was a few DJs playing RnB Soul and Reggae! But I will be coming here to try the food as the restaurant is huge it had a 200 car pace car park and the restaurant is huge too!! I’ve heard good things so will be back with a review!! If your looking for a private function room then I can recommend

Had a lovely Friday evening with friends. It's been years since we have been to the Blue Tiffin, but I'm not sure why! The food, the service and the atmosphere was 5 star! We are booked for Xmas day but will probably be back before then ... thank you 😊

We had my mums 80th Birthday meal here what an amazing place the staff were brilliant the food was brilliant they were all helpful and my mum and everyone was very happy and I would like to say thank you to everyone involved will definitely come here again 🙂

Booked for an 80th party for 18 of us adults and children. The staff were excellent and very accommodating when it came to all those little extras like the cake and balloons. The food was excellent and portion sizes left us not needing anything extra. Great value for money for a large party like this. Definitely recommended and will be paying a visit again real soon.

Busy but wow. The food was amazing and the staff make the experiences, so professional and attentive. Not local for us but we would definitely drive the extra distance to eat here again. Great quality, very reasonable prices. Ample parking even when busy.

Been tonight for the first time, party of 6 for my Hubbies birthday. Hubby got a complimentary free cocktail and a big sparkler. Fabulous food, Great atmosphere, great service. Will definitely be back..5⭐ guys.

Four of us went for meal. The service was fantastic, couldn't do enough for us. The food was too die for, it was so nice. And 30% off too! Wow! . . Highly recommend.

This restaurant was really busy with lots of hussle and bustle with some large groups. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the food was ok although it seemed like mass production fast food, rather than authentic Indian, I think the onions and other ingredients were chopped too finely like little squares. Don't expect a quiet relaxing romantic meal here it's not that kind of place, or at least when I was there, its on an industrial park and more catered for a larger group and the food quality reflects this. Buffet food might be harsh but I'm fussy. It's a bit rough and ready and the waiter didn't think twice about putting our takeout bag of food on the floor next to us and hoovering while moving tables for the next large group booking, not bad it's just the nature of the place and type of restaurant.

Where to start! I had the pleasure of visiting Blue Tiffin for my daughters birthday. A party of 16. The welcome and everything about the evening was incredible. The guys front of house embraced my daughters birthday and it felt like we were in our own show. The guys were funny, charming and attentive in equal amounts. They looked after everyone and made everyone feel part of this event, from12 yr olds up to the old man of 61 that I am. This theme ran throughout the 3 hrs we were there. The food was absolutely amazing and the early bird discount was a real unexpected bonus. We travelled 250 miles to be there and it was worth every minute of the journey. Thank you so much for creating the atmosphere for 1of the best evenings I can remember. Well be with you again on 10th August for my grandsons birthday. Many many thanks.

I had my 19th birthday meal there yesterday and it was the best food I have had and the staff were amazing kept checking I was okay and I didn’t need another drink they then brought me a free cocktail to the table , when we come in they welcomed all my guests with a warm welcome, we hired the room which was £50 deposit then it gets knocked off your bill it was quiet and nice would recommend to anyone we went on a Sunday which meant it was buffet food it was hot and fresh nicest food I have had in a while being out can’t thank the staff enough really !! Definitely recommend

I went with friends for my Birthday and we all had a great time .The waiters were very helpful making sure my chicken jalfrezi and rice were gluten free.My meal was gorgeous,the staff were helpful and the entertainment was great.I couldn’t have asked for a better night and we’ll definitely return

First time ordering a takeaway. I had always heard good things about the food. The lamb madras was great plenty of rice. Ordered a takeaway as I work near but live in Salford. Lamb was tender and plenty of it with a rich delicious sauce. Really enjoyed it . Thank you. Can't really comment on atmosphere too much as I didn't eat in. But the staff were very good.

Visited here again after 5 years for a large birthday party. We where in the function room, which is fairly large. The team seemed overwhelmed with the amount of people as there was another party in the same room. The food was average. There was one member of staff that stood out, unsure if he was a manager, English lad, with glasses 👓. Could not door enough for us. I would give more stars ✨ but have to base it on how things were on the night. When we were entering in the place, a member of staff was outside and as we walked to the site was noticed spitting on the floor, I would not expect this. There is ample free parking on site, which is a bonus.

Came for 27th birthday meal absolutely spot on from the minute we all came in to when we left and we were served by Raz, he's a credit to Blue Tiffin, staff joined in singing happy birthday too, this is probably my ninth visit never had a problem, restaurant and toilets are kept nice and clean as I the bar area. Main reason for 5 star they asked if anyone had allergen problems and wife's daughter does so made a curry from scratch for her thanks chef.

The best "Indian" restaurant in the area. The vegetarian items are always First Class. Highly recommended Mt favourites are too many. However being a Chanba Bhagi fan these are The Best In The Northwest!!! I only enjoy deliveries so I cannot comment but surely excellent Thank you Blue Tiffin! Jennifer W

We celebrated my son's partners birthday on Friday. We were a group of 8. All the food was really good, not an empty plate between us. Will definitely return. 🥂

My partner & I visited for the first time on Saturday night (9pm). We rang to reserve a few hours before & we’re told it wasn’t necessary. When we arrived, the venue was 3/4 empty. There’s a large function room to the right as you walk in, which was blasting party tunes. You could hear this in the restaurant & as a result, the Asian background music was louder than usual, so conversation was tricky. (1* off the atmosphere for this). Once seated, we were impressed at how clean the restaurant was. There are glass chandeliers and even they were gleaming. The restaurant menu is packed with options & the friendly waiter was happy to make recommendations. He said they’d happily make something not on the menu if requested too. (Within reason). In the end, my partner opted for the Chicken Tikka Chilli Fry to start, a chicken bhuna & a plain naan. I chose onion bhaji, a veggie rogan Josh & a garlic naan. We shared boiled rice & chips. The food was delicious & all tasted freshly made. Aside from a small-ish sized portion of chips, all of the portions were generous. We had a strawberry & lime Kopperberg each & a jug of water. The total cost was £56. We will definitely be back.

Have been before but this time wasn't too good Waited a while before our order was taken then starters arrived before poppadoms were finished. Mushroom pakora wasn't what I expected....bits of mushroom in a doughy batter rather than full mushrooms in crispy one. Very large time delay getting main course which was only ok. Staff not very attentive, moved empty glasses and didn't ask if we wanted anymore. The only thing that improved the visit was the fact that between Mon and Thurs there is 30% discount on food. Won't be rushing back

I went there today with my friend. I have to say there service was outstanding. There food was good aswell. They really took care of us and guided us on what to order. They even offered to reheat the food because we were taking long and it went cold. I would definitely go there again! Garlic naan was best I've tasted and there tarka dhaal aswell.

Birthday celebration for a big group ,food was plentiful,service very good ,kids are welcome which is a bonus ,once you have eaten you can move into the lounge bar ,dj plays good music ,what more could you ask for....

Just call in on the off chance for the Sunday buffet. And for the money you can't knock it. Will definitely be calling again 👍🏻

Quite disappointed 😞 I was expecting restaurant quality and I didn't get it although mushroom rice was delicious however my curry sauce was very bland and watery

Great curry I would say it is the best around rochdale pavillion used to be but has gone right down hill only reason I give 4 stars is those fat chips you have ruin the whole meal if not cooked properly taste like raw potatoe get new chips accept that wonderfull and I get chicken tikka great onion bages .

We went here for New Year's Eve, it was a set meal which we didn't realize when we booked but it was ok, the waiter was very chatty and friendly but the atmosphere of the place seemed a little flat the d.j next door wasn't up to much either we were prepared to stay there till midnight but sadly left just before 11pm as it was quite empty and the atmosphere wasn't much better, . We will go again for a meal but I'm not sure about going for New Year's again

Had a take away the best Indian in Oldham area

Overbooked for Xmas dinner waiting hours for table and food ushered into a side room with queues out the door blocking the main fire exit, people were leaving and not even eating as the place was heaving and that busy, Manager had a terrible attitude we’ve been coming here for many years but will never return again.

A group of about 30 people went to the restaurant for our Christmas meal. We were made most welcome by the management team. After a suitable period poppadoms and chutneys were provided followed by a comprehensive mixed starter dish. Mains were personal choices from the menu. The food was excellent

I’m coeliac and couldn’t find any reviews so didn’t know what to expect but all of the staff were helpful and I had a lovely meal of chicken bhuna and pilau rice ,it was gluten free and not cross contaminated 👌🏼

Myself and 16 other family members went here for a surprise 16th birthday meal for my grandson. Was easy to book on line and when I phoned to ask questions they were polite and very helpful.On the night were looked after splendidly from start to finish. Maz and his staff - both bar and table-were all super friendly . The food was delicious, hot and so tasty and could not fault one thing. They even brought out a mocktail and a giant sparkler so we could sing happy birthday to my grandson. Everyone was more than happy with their experience at the Blue Tiffin and will not hesitate to recommend here whether it be for a special family occasion or just a perfect meal for two. Definite 5 stars...would give more if I could.

Ordered a curry tonight to be delivered, order came absolutely delicious but missing my chapatis, I'm not the one to complain over a few quid so left it be, about 20 minutes after, the delivery man rang saying he's outside with my chapatis with 2 beers. After the day I've had, the kindness of going above and beyond to make sure we got our full order is amazing- personally had to ring them to thank them, I always save half of my curry for the next day so I will enjoy my chapatis tomorrow for lunch.
