Dreadful!! Would give a zero if I could!!! Asked for Singapore Vermicelli and the duck to be swapped for shrimp.....no shrimp but wanted to charge an extra £1 PER PRAWN for King Prawns???? Are you kidding me??? Got Vegetable one instead (£8.30!!).....absolutely tasteless, no spice or flavour at all!! I have had it with this place,

love this place - great value for money and you get alot of food fruit juices are great too. Prices have increased slight but still great value

Duck - not great at all . It was a Sunday - meat was Old - (dry, damaged - very grey Butterfly prawns over cooked Not great There is a Greenwich one, this is good

This restaurant has been here for at least 17years although I belive it has changed hands a few times. It used to be flavourful food, good sized portions and good value for money, I can honestly say the only thing it has going for it now is the portion sizes. Service if you can call it that is rude and abrupt, they only accept cash(?!) and the atmosphere is dead. The food is honestly tasteless, on this occasion (the last time I go there) I went for a takeaway and asked for duck in oyster sauce, was told they don't do that then another woman said they do, when I got it home it certainly wasn't oyster sauce and was more tasteless than bisto gravey. I'm done with this place for good.

Went with my friend, we'd been playing basketball all day, popped into Nando's, they told us 20 minute wait for a table. Absolute violation. We popped into Tai won Mein, took a seat, surfed the menu. Unimaginably extensive but we knew what we wanted. Sweet and Sour Chicken (HK style) with fried rice. Lovely staff came out with the food. Legendary dish. Portion size was immense. Would totally recommend this to anyone in the Catford endz. It's cash only so bring ya wallets full. It's incredibly cheap for the portion size so don't worry if you come on an empty stomach. They gotchu.

Poor service that does not meet current guidance. I ordered a small dish and a drink as I was filling time before meeting a friend. Was shocked to have to queue at a counter to order in the current climate. I also had to request hand sanitiser to be refilled. When the food arrived, no cutlery or napkins were provided. I had to go back to the counter to ask for these. The last seemed surprised that I was needing cutlery to eat with. I spotted two other tables also delivered food without cutlery. Staff were more interested in feeding family who had arrived than looking after customers. Food was greasy and disappointing.

The service is very poor. They only take cash and also don't give you a receipt. When I gave my order, the person disappeared and never saw them again. Not even a "ok that's done". Just disappeared. When you enter the restaurant they show you a table and disappear, no menu nothing. Later we find out we have to go to the cashier to order. They don't hand out menus too, you have to take a copy from a pile of dirty used laminated menus in the corner which is against guidelines as it's very unhygienic. The food tasted very poor. Extremely bland. The noodles didn't have a taste. As we had too much food we asked for a box to pack some food away. To my astonishment I was told I have to pay £2 for a box. I have never heard this concept in my life, plus none of this is recorded so I'm not sure how legitimate the running of this restaurant is and I would suggest HMRC to check them out. They then have the nerve to have a tips box. What do they want a tip for, they done absolutely nothing. Never been to a restaurant as bad as this one in my life.

There is a big proportion of food and from all over Asia,very cheap ,the drinks were for filling as well and it is a very nice place to eat if you like food served from a good atmosphere.

Came here last Saturday before heading off to the new Catford Mews cinema. We ordered sweet & sour chicken with meat noodles (was a special on the table) with spare ribs and pork dumplings. The main dishes are big enough for two to share no doubt. You do have to know that this is takeaway quality Chinese, not a fine dining restaurant. The food comes out in a matter of minutes and is steamy hot. Would 100% come back again as very good value for money!

A little disappointing to be honest. Weather permitting, this is often busy and attracts many regulars. However, dry, cool , squishy dishes rather dented its attraction for this visitor. While nothing is perfect, not a single dish here exceeded expectations. Almost as if the kitchen was bored and tired. Well There's plenty more fish in our local sea of Asian , Indian, African , European and yes British dining and water holes. Enough said!

Service can be curt but usually comes with a smile. Cheap. And the food is tasty always & huge portions. Peking duck is the best in area. Could be a tad more comfortable but you get exactly what you expect. Cash only

I tried the mixed meat udon dish, and the deep fried spare ribs, and all very nice. The main dishes are all about £7, and one dish is enough for 2. Food is very fast and hot, and the room is set out with long tables and benches, a bit like Wagamamas. The only dishes missing is any Thai curry, or any dim sum. But there is an extensive list of nearly 120 dishes, wine is available, at about £13 a bottle, and bottles of Carlsburg at £2.40. Great value for money, open from 11.30 am, till 11 pm, families welcome.

I went here today at about 1900. Whilst I was there (with my friend) we saw staff members bringing boxes out of a white transit van that was parked up outside, into the restaurant kitchen. We then saw a member off staff wheel two silver metal boxes outside to the van. As he did so, one box fell from on top of the other. To our surprise, about 8-10 cooked ducks fell out onto the ground!!!!!yes they fell out onto the pavement where dogs have 💩 people have spit and god knows what else has shown its presence there. The MORE shocking part was that the guy then scooped them all up and placed them straight back into the silver containers with the other duck that were still in there😱😱😱😱😱😱 my friend then approached (who we assumed) was the manager and informed her what we had seen. She cursed the man in their language, but no one took the dirty ducks out and binned them. We decided to leave, and again my friend approached them about the dirty ducks. She then informed us that he will bin them at the other side!!!!! We could only assume this dirty meat was going to be used in their other branch which is in Greenwich. WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN AND I CAN ONLY ASSUME HYGIENE IS NOT THEIR NUMBER ONE PRIORITY....

A must if your ever in catford. Bit more expensive than a takeaway but more than worth it. Portion size and quality of the food is worth the extra cost. Not a place you’d go on a night out or when your planning a special couples meal but when your out and about and fancy Chinese cuisine you can’t beat these places. The one in Greenwich is also good but catford is the best for service and food. Give it a go if your in the area, you won’t be disappointed.

The restaurant was quite small and the benches were uncomfortable. Good service but food flavourless. Would not recommend.

Terrible...just terrible. Staff are rude, food is bland (I didn’t even know it was possible to make Chinese food flavourless!), stale atmosphere, & grubby tables & floors. I’m sad I will never be able to get the time spent here back!

Dos veces en el último mes su cocinera me ha dado comida horrible. La primera vez que encontré una pieza de pollo que estaba fría como una piedra. Ya tenía dudas cuando me entregaron la comida, ya que parecía una de esas comidas precocinadas que se sirven en los supermercados chinos.

Pedimos pollo al curry arroz y fideos fritos con cerdo, no comimos en el restaurante pero fue una comida para llevar.

I've been a regular at this Chinese restaurant for years. Cheap, fast and always good. Plus the portions are big so great value. Bring cash, no cards accepted. Great deep fried ribs.

Their large noodle soups are quite big, I'll give them that. Service is perfunctory. It's not as cheap as it should be based on food mediocrity.

Great restaurant. Friendly atmosphere, good food with good value for money. Service is very quick and there is always someone on hand if you need assistance. Very big portions but always a pleasure to visit. Highly recommended.
