The staff were really friendly and we really enjoyed the food 🍱. The food was quick and really tasty. We ordered the mix bento and ramen and we bought enjoyed it

Been coming here for the sushi buffet with my kids for a long time. Always, enjoy our time there if there is anything negative it would be the sushi rice can be at times either too wet or dry.

Placed an online order at 9.06pm. The money was taken of my card and no delivery was made. Me and my family waited for this food that did not turn up. Very poor service. Very disappointed.

Usually get takeaway from here or their sister restaurant I Love Gyoza. The food is very good. Eating in was a nice experience as the food is super hot/ fresh, no chance to get soggy in layers of packaging on the back of a motorbike. The restaurant is cosy and unpretentious, casual dress and a nice family vibe. Not overly expensive and good quality food.

This restaurant is situated along a busy road so it is not hard to find. Parking is tricky but this can be sorted out by parking in the shopping centre and walk there (only 5 min and is much needed after a buffet!!) Food is great, we went for the buffet. The insturction was a bit confusing at the start (8items/time)but generally they put the clause there just to avoid waste, its not the case that they are trying to give you less food which is good. The portion is very generous and the price is reasonable. The salmon is fresh and the hot food like dumplings is good too. I would recommend clams and sweet prawns as not many japanese restaurants would offer these. Manager/owner was nice and he opened the door for me when he saw me walking with my buggy. Nice service. Food served quite quickly. We went there at 5pm. Not many customers around and I would recommend to go there during non peak hours so to avoid disappointment. One thing to note is they dont have time restrictions on buffet like other restaurant so you can relax and enjoy without pressure (not like you need to rush to get it done in 90mins ended up with an unhappy face and an upset stomach) This is the first time I tried this out based on friends' recommendation. Would definitely go there again 😍

Extremely shocked to know that all the items in the menu were not gluten free. Last time i was here I was told everything is gluten free ( I caught a reaction after) food is great but extremely disappointed 😞

Food was fresh, nice and hot. Great portions, good value for money and so tasty! I recommend the prawn balls. Customer service was also amazing, will be going back again!

Ordered a takeaway from this restaurant. Good value, Salmon sushi mix deal 12.99. Staff adhere to good hygiene (masks and gloves in the sushi prep area.) They also accept cash. So 👍. Ordered a delivery over the phone on a second occasion 15mins from order to door.

If your delivery time is 1 hour 30mins then it’s only polite to communicate this to customers.

Ordered Singapore Fried Rice and Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings - felt the rice was mediocre - but a good portion size - big enough for 2 people. Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings were crispy and nice. Would return to try other items. But overall not wholeheartedly impressed with the rice.

Cheap and cheerful. Staff are nice. Service is hit and miss. But that's all down to how busy they are. Food is good for what you pay especially with buffet. They have reduced their menu down but I noticed the service is faster since they have? All in all for what you pay, the food is good.

A must go! Absolutely one of the best all you can eat sushi and Japanese food places for the price. You can't beat that! Food is always tasty, been going there since 2019! First time back since covid, place is clean and the staff always wear masks. Even the kitchen team. Once again a MUST VISIT!

1 chow mein turned up to my house, 3 were ordered. A phone call from the restaurant just before the 1st chow mein turning up to say the other 2 were following 10 minutes later. Half an hour later we're still waiting! I called the restaurant number, no answer, eventually got through to a very rude lady who informs me that my other chow meins have just left the restaurant claiming that it takes 10 minutes to cook, so when they called the 1st time, they hadn't even cooked the food. So we had chicken balls with cold sauce to share. Very poor customer service indeed.

Sadly as much as I used to love delivery from here...the food quality has seriously gone done hill. The hot and sour soup...bland and tasteless...seared beef ... chewy and muscle, sea bass sashimi and mussel in black bean sauce also overdone rubbery and clearly done at least 24 hour before ordering. Food is just frozen and not cooked freshed to order and the duck rolls came without the promised plum sauce on their website. Food came stone cold too. Last time to order

Last 2 orders have been very disappointing. Mussels in black bean sauce was very rubbery and off...the duck rolls came with no plum sauce as advertised and the chicken satay was clearly done a few days ago while the peanut sauce was also stored on a shelf for days. The Mango fruit tea was too sweet and despite not having diabetes...definitely had a sugar attack and dumping syndrome as a result of 2 mouthfuls and leaving the rest. The veg hot and sour soup was tasteless and had no salt and the entire food was stone cold upon delivery. Last order the sea bass sashimi was also rubbery and got slight food poisoning from it as well as the sewred beef has lots of tough strains than meat and was also chewy. Not ordering again sadly.

This place is a joke. Incorrect deliveries, rude people who give you the run around. Ridiculous waiting times for new delivery, still got the delivery wrong and refused to give it to me until I gave back incorrect order. We got our food and realised the chicken was raw and the quality was really bad! Avoid

My wife accidentally ordered for collection instead of delivery. She has two brain tumours so sometimes gets confused or makes attention-based mistakes. She realised immediately that she had made a mistake and called the restaurant but they refused to allow her to change to delivery. They also wouldn’t refund her. So they just kept nine pounds of her money because she is too sick to go out and get the order herself. Good work, Bento. We will never order from you again.

Today was my 2nd time eating your food and it is just the most tasteful fresh food ever I am very pleased with your dishes esp the sweet and sour king prawns (however more prawns is needed in a bowl) Just amazing the rice is cooked good today rice was Veg rice and it was amazing thx again I will be ordering again! Received wrong ordered. I got a duck instead of prawns. Well duck....i would say duck's skin, anyway....called restaurant immediately and asked for manager and been told that he isnt available for customers. Well...furthermore had to send a picture to the guy private phone to prove the order is wrong. At fist he was trying tell me I ordered wrong then i sent him also my order confirmation. All I heard was that he will send me new order. When I asked his name as he was unhelpful, ride and cheeky he answered - its not important you will have your food within 20min Disgusting and disrespectful NEVER AGAIN!

Utterly and completely disgusting. We ordered via just eat and it got here early. The tonkatsu was dry and old tasting and the chicken teriyaki was fatty and old.i called the shop and they told me the food was supposed to taste and look like we received it. We had to bin it, hoping we don't get sick. Just eat denied my refund request...stay clear of these people

I have always loved this restaurant tasty dishes. Restaurant is always neat and staff friendly. However, I am giving 4 stars because on my last visit 15/01/2021, I place an order for collection/takeaway and to my surprise upon opening the dishes, the portions where soo small (I ordered large portions) compared to previous large portions, I do believe the restaurant was running out of supplies which is very likely due to the lockdown and recent Brexit, however the restaurant should have indicated in their website that only small portion is available because I paid for large portion. Overall a good place to get tasty Chinese food

Rude. When I called (because it was taking longer than expected delivery time), the person who answered the phone did not want to answer to my simple question or help. All they said was “we are really busy”. They charge £2 for a chilli oil (even zone 1 london does not charge “£2” for chilli oil) Not friendly (at least try to be). It would have been fine if they had positive attitude, try to be friendly, and helpful to customer who placed order £45 worth of food. I would have been understanding if they simply said so sorry for taking longer than usual and they will try their best.

Awful service, 2 hours after ordering and it still hasn't arrived, can't get through to the restaurant because both their phone lines are engaged, I think they do this to avoid angry customers. Avoid!

Not a great experience for delivery. I waited for an hour past the ETA and the food never arrived. I called the restaurant several times and each time they said it would arrive in "5 more minutes". Lateness is forgivable, but I was unimpressed with the lack of honesty over the ETA updates. Next time I'll visit in person and will re-review.

I would never order from here again!!! They over charged me for my order and made a mistake and then I had to pay extra for what I actually wanted!! 😡 the chicken curry was horrible, spring rolls was over cooked, the sweet and sour chicken is solid! This is the best sushi you are going to eat in all South London, the food is simply delicious and the place is very cosy, and staff is very friendly. Prices are fair and affordable and eating there is just overall a great experience.

Mi lugar favorito de sushi en el sureste de Londres, arruinado por el nuevo personal, reservamos una mesa para el sábado porque después de una larga espera, el restaurante volvió a abrir al público para cenar, nos mostraron la mesa e incluso antes de sentarnos nos dijeron groseramente que nos hubieran cobrado un 10% de cargo por servicio, como si insinuaran que no podíamos pagar / queríamos pagar. . . Nunca nos pidieron bebidas, en cambio entregaron el menú y nos fuimos por un tiempo, pedimos nuestra comida y todo parecía estar bien. . hasta que después de casi 45 minutos nuestra comida nunca llegó por completo, pregúntale al camarero qué pasó, y luego de tomar nuestra comida ordenada nuevamente, comenzamos a recibir la comida, aunque no la que pedimos anteriormente. . La calidad de los alimentos también se redujo drásticamente. . . El gerente fue muy distante e incluso cuando sirvieron algo en la mesa, no respondieron a nuestro simple agradecimiento. . en este punto comimos lo que recibimos y pedimos la factura. . . se sintió desesperado. . . Todavía pagué el servicio al camarero. . pero definitivamente no volveré pronto. . . MUY TRISTE.

This is our go to for oriental food. The Singapore vermicelli noodles are amazing! The husband loves the crispy beef. The ribs are delicious and the soup is great too! The prices and portion sizes are what us northerners are used to meaning there's always leftovers for lunch the next (2 sometimes) day(s). Wouldn't recommend the chicken balls - they're very greasy and I've had much better elsewhere. Even then, they're nice, there's just much yummier things to order! And the food always comes quickly and packed well, which makes the whole experience just that little bit sweeter.

Made an online via Deliveroo. The food was outstanding, the sushi, sashimi and nigiri were super fresh :) The Chinese hot dishes had incredible flavours. The pork dim sum was so tasty! Everything was absolutely fresh, great quality, delicious!!! Look forward to order again :)

I dont know what has happened to this restaurant but it has deteriorated massively! Sweet and sour chicken was inedible! I couldnt even put my fork into it, the chicken if you can call it that was dry and the batter disgusting. Rice tasted like it had been there all day and just warmed up in the mcrowave and the sweet n sour chicken balls werent cooked all the way through!! I used to eat from here all the time so much so the restaurant know my address and phone number, but when i asked for a refund the guy said no! I asked if he could send a drink as a good will gesture, again was told no. NEVER AGAIN!!! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! Go grab a ready meal instead!

I went in and ordered prawn balls and waited 5min then I got home to bite in a chicken ball I was so upset and angry I am a vegetarian and do not eat meat I called up Bento spoke to a man that did not care and said nothing that is what I ordered I told him I do not eat meat and he said that’s not he’s problem never will I eat that bento again before anyone orders please check your food first it is terrible to receive chicken and I only eat fish no meat

Shocking 1hr 30 for delivery yet it showed up delivered after 45 mins on just eat when I rang I was told this was to keep figures up wow then when driver does arrive he’s laughing on his phone to the restaurant before delivery cctv available if you need proof food meh not terrible service unless u live next door avoid

That was so disgusting. I still can not wipe away my memories about that. We didn’t even hear apologise. After that we got only 20% off discount which is unbelievable. We did mistake to not ask for a manager and not making drama but you already ruined up our afternoon. We definitely will not come back!

I do love good, quality food and the team at Bento really do a fantastic job. They are my go to delivery whenever I want a takeaway. A word of advice to the owner if I may... allow a quality graffiti artist to give the front shutters a Japanese themed makeover and your business will fly...the tag 'artist' should respect and leave it alone. ✌

Avoid! We ordered food, paid online and it never arrived!!!! They refused to give us money back despite us having cctv footage of my husband waiting for it outside our house!

They never delivered. Strung me along for 2 hours saying food was coming. Then said it was my fault for having hard to find house / not at home / (didn’t answer phone) and wont refund. I sat next to front door, phone in hand, and CCTV to prove they never came. The day before, day of, and day after i ordered food from other restaurants nearby with no issue at all. Just Bento can’t deliver, and then blame their customers. ORDER FROM SOMEONE TRUSTWORTHY.
