Loved it, Great food, great service. Walked past it for a while, thinking it was probably a bar with food as an after thought. How I was wrong. We had a couple of tacos and a fantastic chicken burger. Perfect casual last minute place, with great food. Dumped my nearer Mexican that does similar, this place nails the trendy modern casual Mexican thing... Thank you guys !!! See you soon.

I’m a regular here in the tooting tacos and tequila and for good reason ! Every time I’ve visited I’ve been greeted warmly and been made to feel like I was a main priority even in their busiest times. The tacos exploded with flavour our favourite being their signature ox cheek taco. But not forgetting a close second being the pulled pork taco. Then swiftly followed by some of the best margaritas in London in our opinion. They pack a punch yet somehow are still refreshing and sweet. Definitely a dark hose of mixology in this tucked away hidden gem. I 100% recommend coming here if you enjoy good food and cocktails followed by some of the friendliest staff I’ve had the pleasure of meeting.

We had heard good things bit were very disappointed. The food was bland. Tacos were 50% raw unseasoned tomatoes. These tomatoes were what was considered salsa, no vinegar no chilli. The pork was a lump of plain meat with cheap BBQ sauce on top, there were 3 tiny bland prawns in the prawn taco, the mushroom one reminded me of mushrooms one would have on a cheap cooked breakfast Margaritas were not even good, they tasted like they were scrimping on the spirits. Will not return.

We planned to go for dinner at Tacos + Tequila in Clapham on Friday night, but unfortunately found our reservation mishandled and the staff very rude. Despite texting the number for reservations and confirming we were running late for an 8pm reservation, upon arrival we found that the person in charge of reservations (strangely outsourced to the Tooting location) doesn't speak to the person (with a singular printed sheet) at the location in Clapham. Our table had been given away and the host asked 'what we wanted her to do'. With no solution and a complete abdication of responsibility or help, we ended up getting deliveroo. As we didn't eat there, I can only go on the location and what other people's food looked like. The restaurant itself is buzzy and vibrant with an atmosphere that seamlessly combines a 'Be at One' with a Party City. Pretty good for a Friday night in Clapham. The entrees looked great, atleast as good as the Crunchwrap Supreme I'm having today instead - but I can't confirm. Sadly, the staff let down the establishment - perhaps they should 'Live Mas'.

Some of the most delicious cocktails. The apple crumble margarita was amazing. The tacos were delicious and were very generous portions. Will definitely come here again

probably the slowest service I’ve ever encountered Food was fine at best, overpriced for what it was uncomfortable seating, bad location within the market. Much better places in the market Definitely not going again. Unless you really really like soft overpriced tacos probably give it a miss

We arrived on a Saturday evening which was pretty busy with most bars/restaurants around being busy. It was a last minute decision and I do not regret it! After being turned away from another place due to a card machine not working and not being told when we had booked the table 30-40 mins before we were starving! Me and a friend ordered margaritas (amazing!). She later had an espresso martini which equally hit the spot. They took a while to come but considering how busy it was, and being able to view the bar, it wasn’t longer than 5-10 mins, the bartenders were constantly making drinks and we could see they were being made from scratch. You scan the code to see the menu, but order from the staff. They were very attentive, even having one server who hadn’t seated us/taken our original order coming to check on us/ take more orders which you don’t get everywhere. It felt like a team effort which in turn made our experience more positive. Depending on how hungry you are we ordered 3 tacos each. I would say this was more than enough as they are pretty large (soft tacos) and take up most of the plate. They come out as they are made. Reasonably priced and almost too much filling! We also had a guacamole and nachos starter which was lovely. I ordered the ceviche, duck and ox cheek which were AMAZING. (Duck may have been over cooked a little…or I could have also been too lazy to chew at this point - last taco) My friend had the ceviche (she wasn’t familiar with the dish but still liked it), the chicken and a pork taco. (I think my selection were nicer) A few drinks down the line we even had the owner chat with us about the place which was really lovely. Nice to see that he was working just as hard as the staff and there didn’t seem to be any hierarchy there, you could see that place was something he loved (maybe it meant more to us since we’ve worked in the service industry, but it really did make us feel welcome and good about the place as a whole) Nothing but great service, they will make you feel so welcome, regardless of how busy they and the market as a whole is, will happily talk you through the menu etc. All the staff were amazing (we interacted with the owner and another man wearing an orange T-shirt), I’m not from the area but I would 100% go back again whenever I am. Very poor service-had booked in advance arrived 10 minutes early and were lots of empty tables but were told our table wasn't ready. Came back at the right time to be shown to one of the vacant tables we had seen 10 minutes before! While we waited to order drinks 2 seperate members of staff came over to ask if we had been 'shown to this table' (implying that we had tried to take a table without booking). Service was then quite slow and cocktails very expensive for what they were... wouldn't come back

Had a decent time here but the way we were treated at the end really put a sour taste in my mouth. The food was bland but if you don't mind that then they were OK. I personally like flavour to my food so I didn't enjoy it. We chose to remove the service charge, which on the receipt said 'optional'. As we didn't enjoy the food at all and barely ate it, we thought it was fair to remove it. Once we told the waiter this he stopped taking our payment to question us. 'why are you removing it. what was wrong with the service' in a rude tone. I replied saying, nothing was wrong but it wasn't great either, also it says optional so we have removed it. He responded 'yes it is optional but people just pay it' in which I responded 'well we don't want to as we didn't enjoy the food'. He finished taking our payments and made it really awkward with a scowl on his face. After he went over to his colleague and pointed at us, looking directly at us talking about us. It felt terrible. The positives - the decor and atmosphere of the place was nice (prior to the end) and the cocktails were really good (If you do choose to go, I'd recommend the passionfruit margarita).

Amazing restaurant perfect for date night. Tasty tacos and wonderful cocktails from a very experienced mixologist. Met the manager, Sylvain, who was very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

I visited here last week and I was so impressed. Firstly, the staff were so hospitable, particularly Sylvain. My friend and I were made to feel welcome from the moment we sat down, and although the restaurant got busier as the evening went on the staff remained attentive and didn’t make us feel hurried at all. Most importantly - the food was delicious! Mexican is not my usual go to cuisine, but these tacos were just so delicious and fresh. The selection on the menu is incredible, there is something for everyone. We had a selection of fish, vegetarian and meat tacos and they were all excellent. We also went on a Thursday when there was an offer on for bottomless margaritas. This was such good value for money. Unlike some “bottomless” places where the staff avoid topping up your drinks, the staff here were constantly topping up our glasses! I enjoyed my experience here so much I’ve booked again for this week!
