Taco Bobs in Redcar and Cleveland

Always nice food and good service. No complaints from us.

Was quite excited to try something around redcar that wasn't pizza.. Waited 1 hour 30 for cold and really not that tasty food. The chips were good but the burritos were lifeless and much smaller than advertised 10inch. Sadly won't be using again.

Ordered two ten inch burritos and was shocked when they came. They definitely weren’t ten inch ;) . Tape measure clarified they were only 6 inch . Are tasty tho .

I have used taco bobs loads of times and the food is a 10/10 but yesterday I pre ordered food at 13:00 and they open at 16:30 and I didn’t get any food at all, I payed £31.90 and tried ringing them but the phone lines are down and I’m now still having trouble getting my money back off them I think I may need to go down to the restaurant and ask them because I’m not getting any response from them, I feel really bad giving this review because taco bobs are an amazing place and I love the food but the delivery is just terrible 😢

Fantastically friendly staff, even gave our dogs plenty of loves. The burrito was gorgeous and just enough for me, the burger my other half had looked and smelt gorgeous too. Never realised they have a bar/restaurant to shop will be trying that soon!

Absolutely amazing food.... I had cheese and bacon burger and chips and my ball n chain had a Mexican chicken burrito all cooked fresh and to our time specifications.... Also staff very friendly and doted on our american bull...... Will definitely be returning

Well worth it! Food was made fresh for us and we never mind waiting for that, they were busy but still made excellent veggie Mexican burritos for a very reasonable price 👍🏼 will definitely be returning. Oh and the homemade chips are insanely good!

Well what a weird experience, sat in the restaurant out back nearly gas'd out with cooking fumes. The waiter hadn't a clue, but took the order eventually, made us the strongest ever Margaretta Cocktails. Then brought us the best Taco and Burittos. Weird experience, but great food.

Completely ignored my partner and I when we went in to order. We called for them three times and they looked and walked away.

Always wanted to try Taco Bobs,I absolutely love Mexican food, which I did a few weeks ago, unfortunately it was not up to the standard I was expecting. On photos the chips looked amazing, but when I collected my order- the chips were very greasy and almost quite soggy at the same time. The Burrito was just basically mince, cheese and abit of sauce mushed together and wrapped up. Not any unbelievable flavours. Something I could definitely make at home x10 better, but I guess that’s just my preference. Was really looking forward to it, but sadly would not purchase again.

We sometimes drive Redcar just for a Taco Bob's every time I have brought friends and family they have always managed to find something on the menu and enjoyed the great cooking and brilliant food. To top it off even got an dinning area now with a great range or reasonably priced drinks.

Ordered from here a good few times as well as tonight, and it's spot on every time, absolutely gorgeous! Don't believe the negative reviews, some people just love to complain. Definitely recommend! 🤤❤️👍

Order never arrived, park out the back ths other night and seen a large rat run over the wall in to the back of taco bobs. So very very put off.

Two years ago was amazing, now not so much. Shame.

This used to be soooo goooood! When it first opened it was ran by a lovely women who seemd to do the cooking and it was fantastic my favourite place to order from. The past year or so it has gone down hill and after my experience tonight I will never order from them again. The food just is not what it was like when they opened... such a shame

Disappointing. Always been a fan and love that there's somewhere local offering Mexican takeaway. However tonight's takeaway took over two hours to arrive. Had a call to let us know it was running late and would be another 20 minutes, however it was another 20 minutes on top of that! Food was ok but not up to usual standard, it felt rushed. They also forgot the extra sour cream we ordered, only 50p but bad practice.

Decided to try this place again after out order was messed up the last time we tried it months ago. Again items were missing from our order and the food was half an hour late and stone cold. How hard is it to decline orders when you get too busy? Other takeaways do it and manage to get their food out on time or earlier with all everything ordered actually delivered.

The food is lovely, but for the second week In a row we are still waiting for our food over 2 hours later. This is not acceptable. And will be the last time we order from them which is a shame

Ordered fajitas, tacos and burrito. Recieved 3 soggy wraps filled with mince meat, rice and kidney beans. If it wasnt for them writing on each package what they were I wouldnt have been able to tell. They were cold and soggy and the fries looked like they had just been quickly heated up on a radiator. First and last time I ordwr from here. Just glad I had a tenner off so I only paid 10 quid for it all. Oh and garlic sauce should be garlic sauce, not a large tub of mayonnaise!!!

Got chicken tacos delivered to hotel car park. Delivery was ten minutes early and specific instructions followed. Tacos were delivered in a foil tray and still warm. Very tasty. Generous portion of tortilla chips and great quacamole. Cheap good food and delivery only a quid.

Food arrived an hour and a half late and was stone cold. I kept having to phone up and ask what was happening, only to be told it would be "20 minutes" each time I called. Which is such a shame because the food is very good.

Delicious, fast, friendly, great sized portions, hot food even when delivered. Had food from here once a week for the past two years, never been disappointed and loads of healthy options too.

ordered once before food was late and cold told it was sorted now with deliveries etc so thought would try again food ordered at 8, 1040 still no food so rang up to be told there are still 4 orders before ours goes in the oven .food cancelled awaiting refund shame as this could be great place ran correctly

Came here for a second time and it was much better than the first which was over a year ago. Food is pretty cheap, burrito was nice.

It's nice to have somewhere that does something different to the usual fish and chips, pizza and curries. However, I didn't like the cheese sauce on the nachos and would've preferred grated, melted cheese.

Buy from here quite regular, brilliant food, friendly staff, large portion sizes and at a very reasonable price. A must try for anyone who has never tried Mexican food

Food good and didn't have to wait long !

Ordered a takeaway at 8pm Saturday told it would be delivered in 45 minutes. 10 minutes later received a phone call to say that it would take over an hour. An hour later received a further phone call to say it was delayed further. At 10:30 I cancelled the order and asked for a refund. Refund will take 3 to 5 days. Take my advice don't bother with Taco Bobs *******

Delivery was 45 minutes late. Expensive for what it is. Food was freezing cold. Chips and mince tasted stale. All food tasted the same. Soggy. Could make it better myself. Couldn’t eat it will not be going back.

Owner was verbally abusive to my mother when she complained to him about his car & van blocking path access when she was pushing my grandmother in her wheelchair

Really friendly staff, large portion size. Ordered a fajita which was really nice but too spicy for me (however I have a low tolerance for spicy food)

Not impressed that I was in the middle of placing an order and he said oh hang on I have a call waiting then proceeds to put me on hold and then put the phone down on me without finishing taking my order terrible customer service and then get back threw to u to be told they won’t deliver AT ALL unless I order more food funny that cause u charged me for delivery the last time on the exact same order under £8 shame cause food is great but bad service.
