Taco Bell in Renfrewshire

Burrito was the worst burito I've ever had. Lettuce was turning brown wrap was barely toasted & the crispy chicken was very dry. Seating area was dirty... Cheesey chips were good.

The food is good but the place is horribly dirty, everything is sticky including the floor .. no hygiene at all …

So taco bell linwood prevouse order 10 out of 10 chips hot order hot ordered tonight courier obviously thinks I'll do several at once so cold chips cold mains has to microwave to temperature

Not a word of a lie when I say this is the best Taco Bell in the uk, I have been around the uk for work and today I decided to try the Linwood Taco Bell as the Glasgow one is as disappointing as the junkies trying to sell themselves at four corners, and I am most grateful that I did. The place was empty which I am in disbelief over as the food is class and the staff are an incredible bunch, would love to sit and smoke a nice wee j with them man because of how kind and chilled out they are. If you don’t like Taco Bell and you live in Glasgow I can promise you it’s because you haven’t tried the Linwood one, what a meal. Thankyou for making this monster of a meal I left no crumbs.

This has to be the worst, big name fast food place in Renfrewshire. Been there 4 times since it opened and every single time I have went it has been disappointing. I kept leaving it for a while before going back in hope it would be better the next time but it simply has never improved despite all the negative reviews it gets. My last purchase was a burrito meal for 2 at £16.99 which consists of 2 burritos, 1 loaded fries box and 6 churros with 2 dips which is so overpriced for what u get. The loaded fries were the best part of the meal but they were seriously lacking... lucky if there was even a tea spoon of beef on them with minimal sauces too. The TINY, look warm, burritos were just unacceptable honestly. Should be much larger as the meal is designed for 2 people. It doesnt end there... the rice inside the burritos was only at either end making up for 20% with none whatsoever in the middle. There had to have been like 10% beef MAX inside with 70% being literal sauce!!! All the burrito wanted to do was flop over when trying to pick it up from the wrapper and burst everywhere. Not one single sane person would sit and eat a wrap filled to the brim with just sauce. Wouldn't even give that to a dog. Simply inedible. Finally the churros, which are usually ok were not right. Something was either wrong with the mixture they were made from or they were out of date in some way as they were very bitter. Even the 2 tiny tubs of sauce (should be upped to 3) wasn't enough to take away that horrible taste. The whole thing was an absolute waste of money and clearly the food preppers/heater uppers in the kitchen can't do such a simple job and make decent mexican style food. Based on all other experiences this place isn't fit to be open and serving rubbish.

First visit to a UK restaurant. Mid-week visit, so not so lively, but the service and food were great - although after eating the amazing fries, some dishes lacked a bit of flavour. Very decent selection on offer so will go back and try something different.

Missing a part of our order. Tried to phone and couldnt get through. Phoned glasgow who said they would message the manager to answer the phone and still nothing. If you eat here expect to be missing your order.

Missed out more than half our order. Opened the bag to check and there was wrappers everywhere so I waited until I got home and found more than half missing.

1st time and probably the last at taco bell, seasoned fries and chicken tenders were OK, quesadilla was look warm and soggy and definitely not a fan of self service drinks even of ordering takeaway

I love Taco Bell however many of the restaurants in the UK don't compare to the ones in the US and this one in Linwood is another example. The food was ok however the cleanliness of the restaurant left something to be desired. Most of the tables weren't clean and there was rubbish on the floor. The ice machine wasn't working and there were no sauce packets available as they would be in US restaurants. My wife said you maybe had to ask for them with your order which is perhaps the case however it would be better if they were available to just take as they are in the US. The toilet could have been cleaner too. I think the staff at the restaurant need to up their game in terms of making it a clean and welcoming place for customers. It seems that this is a common issue at Taco Bell UK restaurants based on my visits to other venues. The food also seems to be more expensive when compared to prices in the US. This Taco Bell could be so much better.

Get the food from the restaurant,don't use just eat or Uber eats as all you will get is soggy tacos and cold food The Food is a lot better when you get it fresh and the tacos are really crunchy .

Every time i go to taco bell they always get my order wrong ,if i order a taco with beef and cheese they always give me a it with all of the sauces or something like that . it's always so stressful.the staff are always rude and lazy .But the food is always amazing x . so i can i get two stars

Taco Bell Website and Google says that this opens at 10:30am. On holiday to the area, waited around to try it. Went in, ordered and paid only to be told actually it’s 11am they open? Was then refunded

Must have sat at least 15 Minutes in queue, this is quite common in here, the service at this particular TB drive thru is really slow, but today was an exception with a wait that felt like an eternity. There were maybe 4 cars in front of me, from all the drive thrus I visit.. Mcds, KFC, BK etc Taco this TB is by far the slowest, today was just crazy. The outlet was as always not at all busy with just a handful of patrons inside. It appeared no one in the cars in front had large orders as I watched them being handed over. Get your act together in here guys. If you slide into the queue and someone slips in behind you, your snookered as there is only a single file lane available. I would have been quicker parking car up and walking in..

Ordered for a delivery and 4 items didn't arrive. Clearly printed on the receipt, but the items just weren't in the bag. No explanation. Tried to call the restaurant multiple times and got no response. No markings on any of the food items, some of which are meat, and some not, with no way of knowing without unwrapping the burritos and checking, even though there are clear points to mark on the wrappings.

I have never once left a review before let alone a bad one but this cannot be ignored. Worst of any fast food place I’ve ever been to. Came with my partner Sunday night (quiet) and ordered two SNACK burritos and a cup for a drink. Waited 25 minutes for them despite being the only two people in the building??? Workers solely focused on drive through and delivery orders completely ignored us standing right infront of them for nearly half an hour. To this day I wish I had just walked out. I wouldn’t have missed out on much anyway because as usual the burritos were cold. Must’ve packed at least 10 deliveries before starting on our order. Poor woman in the drive through was parked at the window just as long as we were stood inside, maybe longer. No apology given when we received our simple order so late. To frustrate us even more, the ice machine is still broken from months and months ago. I have never once been able to get ice from this Taco Bell, I guess they have no plans to fix it. Always baffled as to how service is so slow considering there is never less than 9 or so teenagers squeezed in the back. But of course it’s hard for them to get much done when only messing around and on their phones. I have yet to come across anyone over 20 in store, a manager of any sorts, that is willing to have a serious conversation about any issues I’ve had. Every time I promise myself I will not return but this time has really sealed the deal. I’ve also never sat in to eat because the place is absolutely disgusting. From the floors, to the drinks stand, to the tables, to the toilet. You can see the grease on tables before you even enter the door. This place needs some serious adult supervision.

Trapped in the drive thru for what feels like forever. Taco Hell, don't come here if you are in a hurry. Be faster cooking yourself from scratch.

Enjoyed the food and time with my son. Stayed about 30 minutes. My son left his phone at the restaurant. Some time later that evening I returned to retrieve this phone. However, I turned up in a hire car and recently receive a traffic violation fine from Smart Parking who run the car park at Taco Bell in Linwood. £60 Parking Find + £35 hire car company admin free. Because it is in a hire car, it is proof difficult to appeal and payment of the fine was automatic. My advice is never drive into their car park, your meal might become very very expensive. I had been there several times before but never going back. Shame Taco Bell lost a repeat customer. - I have tried to contact Taco Bell but no response from emails or social media.

Their burritos have shrunk big time…. Must be because of the war in Ukraine as it’s the excuse I see everywhere 😂😂

By far the worst fast food experience I've ever had. 25 minutes in a drive through queue after 7pm at night, my partner had to leave the car to make the cinema time. Staff about 16 and all clueless, I had to get out and ask what was going on, it's busy is all I got. Trapped in that queue, no option but to wait. Got wrong drink, asked me what sauce, then I got no sauce. Bland food and very overpriced. Staff not a care in the world, stop employing young people who don't have a clue. AWFUL AVOID at all costs

Staff standing about, toilets with wee on rim of toilet and paper on floor 7 of 9 tables were not cleaned. Spoke to manager (Sean) about dirty toilet, no action was taken. Several staff standing about while one person on till had to serve plus try and clear tables main area.

Food is reasonable, but the car park is a scam. Bought food with my son. He left his phone there, when back to pick his phone up later that evening. Weeks later hit with a car park scam charge by Smart Parking who have not realised that I visited twice in the same evening. Appeal pending. Cannot risk returning to Taco Bell due to car park scam.

Unprofessional staff. Untrained staff. Never saw any managers there. They keep talking to themselves and customers keep waiting. Once overcharged me. Kiosk price was different and they charged me different

I was disoppointed to find out i had the wrong order, i never notuced this and i got the volcano taco instead of the chicken burrito. I had explosive diarrhea for 2 weeks after this incodent. I went to the front desk and complained and they. Nevver gave me my order. Horible experience

Went when it opened and waited 30 minutes vowed never to return, went tonight........35 minutes I waited and it wasn't even busy, staff playing on their phones/ chatting/ laughing....no apology girl at counter just plain rude, hopefully will go the way of Denny's at Braehead and get shut down it deserves it , absolutely appalling service, food was rank and not even that hot.

It's fast food. It's Mexican. It's good enough, but not brilliant.

Small dining chairs that still move. But they have cast iron and heavy chairs that sit well on.

Beware the predatory parking fees. The 1 hr max parking is disgusting. Who even expects that in a car park with three fast food places and no grocery or retail shops? Run over a mere 10 minutes and get slapped with £100 fine.

Relaxing atmosphere to enjoy your food. Only thing missing is hot drinks

Not one to usually write a bad review. But every time I come here I get the wrong order. Order a chicken burrito and get a beef one. Ask for no tomatoes, get tomatoes. The service takes that long it’s not worth my while to go back through and complain. An absolute shambles has taught me not to come back. I get mistakes happen but every single order never fails to have a mistake.

Waited over 15-20 minutes to be served, staff were all late teens/early 20s and more interested in talking with their pals and off duty staff than taking new orders. Also, couldn't take card inside but happy to take it at drive thru, makes no sense. Mature staff should be on to make sure the kids out of High school do their job on weekend shifts.

Sterile experience, zero communication from staff other than calling my number. Fries were dry.

Card machine on ordering screen didn't work and had to reorder everything from scratch at the till. No out of order sign placed on by staff despite several people after us having the same problem. Ordering screen confusing, no labels just pictures of sauces. Toilet very unclean.

Very dirty toilet, no toilet paper. Empty rolls all over sink. None of the self service screens actually work, but there also aren't any signs to say they are out of order. Rice was so old, standing out all day that it was crispy and made the burrito very unpleasant.

Been twice in a week. First time my veggie order came to be beef mince. I was too far away to return it. Second time the mince had vinegar through it. Tasted horrible. This was Linwood. Won't be back

It says that it opens at 10.30 but it doesn’t open until 11am. Not a big deal but annoying to have to wait especially when I waited 10 minutes for it to open at 10.30.

Ordered food and asked for no tomatoes due to my allergy got all my food with tomatoes. Tried to call the place twice to get my order fixed but no one picked up. I have had an order in the past without the drinks don't order from this taco bell.

Typicall franq restaurant. Threat better delivery drivers as they were customers, you dont know when a Manager can be testing the water and make you think as a delivery driver just to see how you threat them ;)

1 in 3 orders I get are wrong. Self service machine are often broke or break when getting used. Good food and clean inside. Never sat in.

Ordered a meal online. Just eat took it off my order without telling me it wasn't available. Only got charged for the extra burrito I ordered but forced to pay £4.50 for delivery as there is no option to cancel the order. Was offered a free meal to be added to delivery but that never arrived.

I went to drive through put my order in and they had to come out twice after because they got all the orders wrong

Second time I've ordered a volcano burrito meal and had half of it left out. I know you don't really care about your job but I care about my food especially when I'm buying it on the go so maybe try a bit harder? Cheers.

If you want the worst customer service then come here. All the members of staff do is sit and gab and carry on instead of attending to customers. The tables are always disgusting and the bins are always overflowing no matter what time you go in at. Leads me to believe they never clean this place. I had to start ordering it for delivery as the restaurant was that dirty however the deliveries are just as bad food is always freezing.

Nice honest food. Not the usual fast food sludge. The seating areas could do with being cleaned more though.

Way over priced for what you get and highly disappointing to say the least. The taco they served wasn't even half full. No ice for the drinks and no napkins available. Was the only person standing at the counter waiting to be assisted for about 3 minutes, had to shout on someone to get their attention. All the tables were dirty where previous customers had dropped their food. First time trying a Taco Bell and sadly the last.

Portions were super small. Spend 16quid for food and then had to go to get kebab after. Absolute joke

The food is good, but we never get what we ordered for in the takeaway. No bill and no napkins, missing the churros and all the sauces. Poor show. We spent 30 quid on an order and half the items were missing.

Place was empty, so we became priority for the server, other than the delivery drivers. Was nice to be able to enjoy a meal in an empty restaurant. Meal wasn't bad at all. Would definitely return again, even if for just a bag of cinnamon twists.

Whoever was working around 10-11PM on Saturday April 15th is amazing!!! Drive thru was so nice and really helpful and the kitchen delivered my highly specific order 100%. I ALWAYS ask for extra Lava Sauce on my volcano burritos and rarely get it, but this team is top notch! From a Taco Bell fanatic let me just say this is one of the best.

The tacos were broke and this very messy to eat. And the Churros were brick hard: they could break teeth. Did manage to get a fresh Taco and a refund for my Churros tho. So service was good. Disappointing.

Tacos were soggy and crumbled away in my hands. Also every time i ask for unseasoned chips I received seasoned chips.

Very slow service. Went thru drive thru as thought would be faster. Ordered 3 items took almost 20 minutes. Take it customers in store take priority over drive thru ones.

If you use the drive through just double-check your order and make sure everything is there that you're ordered food is tasty.

Awful place, arrived and no one on the counter so used the machine. First time visiting so had looked on line so knew what we wanted.. while waiting for food we’re looking to see where to sit.. there was only about 8 people in.. every other table was filthy and we decided better to eat in car.. got our food really quickly… ice machine not working for our drinks.. surprises how light the food bag was but when we opened up the food how disappointed the Crunchwrap supreme was so thin and certainly no where like advertised my soft wrap had one piece of chicken the chips were like half portions! The icing on the cake I’ve been Ill all night running to toilet and sick! Can only imagine that’s because of poor hygiene if the tables are anything to go by! Whoever owns this needs to remember what happened to Denny’s at hillington!

I wish i could give a zero because these people have not delivered half of my parcel charged me full , called them up to let them know pathetic staff the lady on the other end started making racial comments and the guy cameron was also pathetic the service is pathetic and the staff is also pathetic i suggest do not order from this place where they discriminate on your race and nationality and serve

Delivery from Uber Eats was excellent, however the store forgot majority of our order. Very poor service. Won't be back. Food was also cold.

A bit confused on the outdoor menus. No full menu until you pull up to order. Usually end up looking up the menu on my phone so I don't hold up the que. Honestly confusing as an American 😅

The drive through is so slow. The service was lackluster and there were items missing. Add the virtue signaling "no sugar" juice is a pain

Asked for a napkin Aswell as raising issues with my order. Upon taking the order back the colleague whispered a rude comment under his breath. After asking to speak with a manager regarding his comment it turned out he was the manger, early 20's with dark hair. Very rude young man. Paying £25+ for an order for my family and I and being treated like this is unacceptable. Would not recommend!

If you like Mexican style food this i perfect place. A large choice and preparation was quick. The food was tasty and freshly made and the restaurant was clean.

Decent food, but just not very hot. Also the restaurant itself was freezing. Also, strangely, our food was not in wrappers. I don’t mean wrapped up to takeaway, but even when sitting in places like Maccy’s put their burgers in a box or wrapper. Our food was just put on a paper plate. Didn’t help with keeping food warm. I’d eat here again but in summer only. In winter the cold restaurant just means your food gets cold really quickly. Remember to put your car reg in when ordering.

No heating door wide open. No salt napkins anything really. Food was good though maybe will just use drive through next time, was like sitting outside

Wow, never again. Burrito was actually stone cold in the middle. Asked the wee guy to heat it up and he looked confused and said it was warm. I told him I wanted it cooked in the middle as well as the outside. Brought it back and slammed it down on the counter. This place will not be here in 6 months.

Ordered 3 portions of chips took home and no sauce with them..drove back and was told Oh yeah we have ran out of nacho sauce but if you wait 5 minutes we will make some !!why not do this in the 10 mins that we waited in the drive thru..shambles.

Visiting Linwood complex. Number of fast food options. Never tried Taco Bell so thought to give it a go. Service below par. Clearly short staffed. Took about 10 min. We ordered the shared meal for two. Two tacos (mediocre), the hexagon thing (sorry forgot it's name) had chicken and beef with salsa and cheese. Again mediocre. Generous portions of chips. No drink with that meal so had to order separately. We made the mistake of dining in. Very dirty both down and upstairs. I don't think anyone cleaned for the whole day (possibly days). Toilets are dirty. Don't think will try again.

Sat in on a Saturday lunchtime. Vacuous place and draughty with many dirty surfaces. Counter service is clearly not preferred by the staff and you’re directed to grubby touch screens. Tables not wiped and ice machine has been broken for weeks. Wraps were lazily made and lukewarm, nachos horrible. Chips and churros so so. Upstairs has been forgotten about and the lift is switched off. Numerous Just Eat drivers hang about and dump their cars at random. A soulless and miserable franchise, avoid.
