This place is becoming less and less attractive. Very limited menu, food wasn't fresh, stingy portions and stingy salad bar. Place isnt not clean,

Somewhere in between calamity and travesty. Taboon exist above nature. Every other shop run in a similar fashion would have been out of business long ago. The managment is a .... not sure what.

Good food, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere

I have been visiting Taboon for their falafel for several years. The quality has slightly gone down but they are still good compared to many other places. I really like the self service for preparing your pitta. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

Ordered shakashuka they added pickles in the middle of it, no pita to eat it with, no 6 pack Pita that I have ordered and the pizza was in the microwave for so long that it arrived like a stone even my dog couldn't chew on it. Horrible!

This place is always empty. Go to Pitta, which is 5 mins down the road

Had a sabich today and it was very very tasty. Definitely coming back. Plenty of choice of the vegetarian options.

Great little bakery/cafe. Superb help yourself falafel, plenty of variety in the salad bar. Very reasonably priced, especially for the area. Well worth a visit. The pita bread is delicious.

Sub optimal experience at 6:45 this evening. During COVID pandemic the measures in place were minimal, with no masks on staff. In early evening they were not ready for dinner time rush, with empty salads, poor stocks of pizza, and they had ran out of bags etc. Due to the pandemic they are meant to make up falafel for you instead of the normal self service, but the staff member was ineffective at this. Also there was some sort of distraction out back and the one person on duty kept disappearing without notice or explanation. I like their food, value and simple setup, but they need to do better. To their credit a decent discount was applied . I hope the manager sorts this out.

Best falafel in town, New guy Krishna who is running the place is very friendly and he has also introduced some home cooked vegie food which is just like how we eat at home, how mama cooks it. Feel a lot of friendly buzz with Krishna running the place

Taboon has been a friendly spot for reliable quality food. The basic menu is reliable. There are times when one staff member is left to do the work of 3, and service can drag on a bit. The pita produced wholesale is excellent

We went to Taboon after a very long time, the falfel and the pitta are still the same excellnt quality Thoroughly enjoyed and would higjly recommend.we were served by Asher , excellent friendly service

Customer service is 0. Food was cold and over salted. Standard has gone so down hill. Person serving was snickering about us to other customers. Won't be returning

Delicious pita, the best you will taste in London

Taboos is a little take away place in Golders Green they are famous for their Falafel and now also do Breaded mushrooms and aubergine. Falafel is served with pitta bread humus and salad. There were a few tables but mostly take away.

Love watching a waste of space sever you good who isn’t wearing a mask. Doesn’t know how to wear a res t-shirt and touching his face than food. As always 1 person in front of me and waiting 8+ minutes to be severed is a joke! I look forward to the business going burst!

I think everyone should hear this, the Taboon has improved exponentially, the system had a complete overhaul meaning, the service has become undoubtedly the best it ever was. The food is so delicious now because consistency in quality had been key after all these years. There also is a new payment system in place and all complaints are dealt with efficiently and effectively.

The food is absolutely fantastic and such great value with lovely traditional food and the service at the front from Madelina and Chaim is truly superb ensuring we are all happy whether a rake away or eat in,service with a smile..I promise when you leave you feel like you have had a good meal. Cannot recommend enough,and can never get bored with it.please visit!!!

Ordered the sabbich (£3.5) and chips (£1.5). Slices of aubergine are slid into a pita and handed over to me to fill in with a variety of salad and sauces to my heart's content. The food appeared fresh and I saw the guys replenishing the salad cart as were the chips that looked homemade. They were also great value for money. An interesting exchange took place between one customer and the server. "Too much salt in the chips! My friend has a health problem regarding salt and you should have asked before adding salt". There are always a few customers like this, irritating with a sense of entitlement. If the health problem was that bad perhaps she should have taken responsibility and pointed it out during the ordering process. Anyhow, the guys handled it well without biting back. They made her another portion of chips. No doubt she will ask for a discount after. They have various other quick meals at great prices. Oh and the falafel were real tasty. Next time the shakshuka.

The food is good and cheap, but there is usually a wait, even when the place is empty.

If you like to make up your own Falafel, this is the place to be, you get fresh pita and falafel made on the spot and u have a huge salad bar to use your self, tasty, nice location and friendly service and price is amazing
