At Sophies - Italian Restaurant in Barnet

A pleasant and friendly eatery with a good choice of delicious dishes. I had a nice choice of vegetarian and vegan food.

Breakfast was OK but nothing special, however the prices were very cheap.

Great coffee and service. I was only in the area for a few months and this place became my default for coffee and food. Great breakfasts also and big portions.

Terrible service, didn't seem friendly. I only ordered a sandwich and water for myself yet families who were there before me got served first. Won't be going back.

Atmosphere and service ruined by having a smoothie machine on, which should be out back in kitchen. Don't go here for a quiet coffee. Couldn't hear ourselves speaking to each other. Apart from that a nice cafe with good food.

Popularl local cafe and licensed. I have only had their coffee which is very good.

Come here after a walk and sit outside. Staff member brings out my coffee without me having to ask always happy, and made to feel welcome. Dogs not allowed inside.

A great cafe serving meals across the day. Service is friendly and efficient. Food is consistently good and the coffee is well prepared. I go there often and am never disappointed.

Reasonably priced. However, the server seemed very angry, and when she served the drink, she slammed it down. The burger was not that good, and the tomatoes were soggy and old. The vinegar in the bottle was old and stale.

Aubergine salad was nice but of a portion too small. Reasonable coffee and cake.

Really great local cafe/restaurant. Good and varied menu including some excellent salads, always some specials on offer. Excellent quality food, efficient friendly service and very good value compared to other offerings locally. Very good Spaghetti Carbonara. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I popped in here for a coffee when meeting up with friends. Service was terrific and the food I saw served to other customers looked really appetising. I will definitely make a point of coming back to indulge in a tasty salad (they looked delicious too). Although prices have recently risen, it's still good value. Toilet facilities are very clean and include a baby changing table,

If you like your breakfast cold, head here. I told the waitress the food was warm at best and she grinned and totally ignored me. Avoid.

Great food at a great price. Not your average village Cafe as it is very high quality in terms of service and the actual food itself. I have only ever came here for Breakfast, however the full menu looks amazing.

Absolutely amazing breakfast!! My husband and I live quite a distance away, but travel specially to eat "At Sophie's". It's cozy and very clean.The staff are lovely, really welcoming and attentive, the price is good for what you get and that's, good quality, great taste, generous portions and the food is presented nicely on the plate. "At Sofie's" definitely have a passion for good food and excellent customer service.

I've been here many times and always get a good welcome. They serve nice coffee, happy to serve oat milk and do not charge extra for it. The staff are pleasant. They do one vegan sandwich, wish there was more vegan choice.

The worst egg and sausage sandwich I have ever had in my life overpriced for what it was and overdone. I've had a lot better for a lot less! Never again!

Lovely fresh food, reasonably priced, good service and a relaxing atmosphere

11am - Resturant appeared clean and tidy, but none of the staff where wearing masks, even after I pointed out they legally should be; apprently due to the hot weather. I had vegetarian breakfast and a latte, which was pleasant enough but service was a bit slow. 2 Poach eggs beautiful cooked, yolk runny but tasted of vinger, bread was soggy, as served lying flat on same plate as rest of the food. 2 vegetarian sausauges where mostly potatoe and sat along side the 2 Hashbrowns. Mushrooms & 1/2 advocado where perfect. Too many carbs for me. Would probally go again, after Covid restrictions completely lifted.

The best breakfast in a long time , very good quality and value for money. Great staff and friendly customer's. Myself and my sister meeting up after lockdown was a blessing and to have such scrumptious food really helped after what felt like a lifetime in lockdiwn. We will definitely go again and again.
