Normally nice paid £32 no prawn crackers chips cold and chow mein anaemic no soya sauce chicken slapped on the top absolute disgrace tonight

Genuinely cant really believe some off the reviews about SWS as it is a v good Chinese takeaway (and family \ friends would agree) and by far the quickest.

Received a phone call from the number of this restaurant, while on the phone I reverse-searched it and found here. The number said they were from O2. Obviously not. Rang it back to alert the company and the speed with which they hung up on me makes met think they're actually the ones behind the scam and forgot to hide the number. Would avoid.

Ordered food 5 did not come until just before 7 was only warm and charged £4 for a delivery half mile from shop will not use again

Will never phone again got roast chicken and chips whole meal cold needed a chain saw for chicken gave the dog a bit chicken and even he turned his nose up and wouldn’t eat it only used twice but never again £10 in bin

Salt and chilli Chicken very dry like reheated from the day before dry,sweet and sour sauce like water no consistency what so ever and tasteless, chicken ball batter tastes like it had sat for days unused very bad taste my son refused to eat them,the chicken and sweetcorn soup was nice and the salt and chilli chips were not bad ,has been a very long time since I had used this takeaway now I remember why I unfortunately wouldn't recommend unless you want a really fast delivery for poor tasting food, spent £35 for a disappointing meal for the family

Lovely food and takeaway, ordered a sharing deal for 8 people and everyone said they loved the food, very reasonably priced too. There’s a reason this place is so well like and so busy. 5 stars.

When you can't even do something so simple like curry sauce, you just know its bad. if i wanted soup i would have bought soup. Not curry sauce soup.

1 of the best looking Chinese from the from and inside very clean too. However worst tasting Chinese I have ever had. Chicken and blackbean was horrible with a yuk poultry taste from the chicken. Never the less went back a send time for satay chicken skewers... I am convinced they were frozen skewers from Iceland. They were small and pathetic and over cooked. And you get the satay sauce separate... Dry chicken YUK !!!

I've literally not had a Chinese for years because every Chinese I've had in East Lothian has been a total let down. However, I really fancied a Chinese tonight and SWS did not disappoint. Fast delivery and food was fantastic 👌 Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back. Thank you!

We have to travel from St Andrews to visit the family and if we have a take away it's from here just because the wife loves the BBQ sauce 🤷🏼‍♂️

The main meals are battered meat 90% batter 10% batter it come in a soggy consistency that I couldn't even face to eat after one mouthful £20 wasted but it's a cheap enough lesson

Top notch old school large spring rolls and quality too. Good value and a good selection of dishes. Love it.

Random opening hours! They stay open when money is coming in but close at random when they want, totally unreliable. No point in being online when they cant update their web page. Called at 11pm and they were counting receipts and closed. Yet their webpage showed they were open to midnight. I paid taxi to take me there too ! Cost me more

Sh*t with sauce as its known are great for spicy garlic salt dishes and dishes with sauces but that's all I would really get from here.

Never have I felt as compelled as to write a review for a takeaway that we were trying for the first time. Not certain whether they deliver the scraps to those ordering over the phone, however we received the delivery in record time, which although we were initially a bit apprehensive over, we were thankful at the same time. That was however until we opened the "shredded chicken", and mistakenly thought that we were serving out the chips. The "sweet & sour" sauce was somehow laced with mint & the "chicken balls" were literally balls of batter with tiny strips of the aforementioned 'chicken' chips hidden somewhere within. Horrendous & I'm afraid to say, straight in the bin.

I can honestly say this is one of the best Chinese Takeaways I've ever used!! Not only is the food great, the staff are so friendly and the deliveries are super fast!! I never use any other!!

Food was absolutely disgusting.it was very bland&dry.curry sauce on rice was.well.nowhere there was like a teaspoon if any.&sauce was invisible on my chow mein.will not be returning ever

This is my go to place for Chinese take away. I love their style of cooking. Good usually really tasty and reasonably priced. Home delivery is usually in a timely manner and food is always nice as hot on delivery. Nice friendly staff too. The ribs are to die for !
