The new kiwi and lemonade mocktail was very refreshing definitely worth trying. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Swirls is a fantastic place to go to. The staff are wonderful and provide a great service one in particular Khadija B - so helpful and friendly. The food was delicious too- the loaded fries must be tried. The best!

Khadijah B and Yusra were so lovely and hospitable ! Even helped my friend and I with our buggies down a step!

Came in for a quick snack, and was welcomed by the most friendly staff, Khadija B and Yusrah. They helped us choose from the menu, and their recommendations were delicious! I was impressed with the work ethic the two girls had. Service with a smile, which is often rare these days!

Insanely delicious desserts. The chocolate is of a high quality and you get plenty of it! 10/10 I will be coming back and recommend coming here. Service was great as all staff are incredibly lovely. The chairs are too low for the tables but everything else is perfect and the design/ atmosphere is so sweet and lovely.

I experienced the worst customer service today. It’s my second time here. The staff was unresponsive, took ages to take our order (I asked 4 different waiters they just said yes yes and walked away), and the food took a very long time to arrive. They forgot my son’s meal so we had to wait for his meal to arrive. In the process our food was cold. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy was shocking. I won't be returning.

I hate giving 1 star but here we go.. Swirldrop what happened to you? Was wondering why it was so empty on a Saturday afternoon. I took my family here - thinking this was a reliable dessert place as I visited twice about 1 year ago. -Took 30-40 mins to serve 2 desserts & 4 hot drinks- and we were the only ones there -About 30 mins in another server confirmed our order (was we forgotten) -There was a party downstairs but that's no excuse for the snail slow service -Forgot icecream with cookie dough -Server spilt 1 hot drink - didn't offer to replace -Doughnut was dry like the sahara -Drink didn't taste like karak & was small We needed to be elsewhere & wish we had walked out earlier. Over priced & poor service. Avoid & save your money.

After looking though the menu and selecting our choices the waiter lets us know they finish brunch at 4 , she could’ve told us when we were given the menu. Then we selected a few other items to that which she said they discounted this but it’s still on menu and she didn’t feel the need to tell us before . Wasted so much time then just ordered a croissant and a few other bits . To be honest there wasn’t much of a choice either .

The food was 50/50. The big breakfast.. The presentation of the food was brilliant and looked very appealing, which makes you feel like you can't wait to dig in but unfortunately met with some disappointment. It said it came with a side of salad and fruit, so I was expecting salad, which was actually only a few leaves, and the fruit was just two slices of an apple. The eggs were burnt from the bottom, so we had to scrape and eat off the top and leave the burnt bottom on the side of the plate, and the hash browns and turkey rashers were very overcooked. We also ordered a side of Halloumi cheese, which I was expecting to be grilled. However, it was deep fried and therefore just tasted of oil, which wasn't very appetising. The chicken and waffles.. this, on the other hand, was very tasty, I've had this from a few places, but Swirldrop has the best chicken and waffle that I've had so far, so I would definitely recommend this dish. In regard to the atmoshphere, it was quite cold inside, so we couldn't take our coats off and had to have them on the whole time. It smelt really strongly of bleach, which wasn't pleasant whilst waiting for or eating your breakfast. The service provided by all the staff can not be faulted, it was excellent and they were extremely friendly.

Food is really good but terrible service here. Taiba who served misled us and then didn’t try to solve the issue. There was no communication between the staff and they did not care. Avoid this place if you want good service!

This place has gone downhill, I agree with the below customer. I also experienced the same, tables was dirty, floors was sticky. Milkshake tasted weak. Waffles was nice but overloaded with sauces which took over and made everyone feel sickly. Previous 2 visits we had burnt pancakes served to us. I emailed the manager who was very understanding, said she will have a word with her team etc. I think swirldrop needs more mature staff who actually work rather than stand around looking pretty!

Paid extra for strawberries and only received one strawberry cut into four slices. Waffle was dry with less chocolate

Went to this place on recommendation from my wife as she had been there with her friends previously. Customer service was excellent. We ordered the English breakfast. Portions are small, sausage was overcooked and rock hard. Egg was placed on top of the toast instead on the side, orange juice tasted stale as it had no punch to it. English tea also did not taste good. Chairs are too low, I ended up having back ache. They do have cushions but the one on our chair looked like it's been dragged on the floor as it has dust and debris on it. Overall, really disappointing considering our bill was over £60.00. Not going back again.

We had a really poor experience at Swirldrop Treats. There were kids playing football with a balloon inside, making a lot of noise. Bubble tea wasn’t available due to machine issues, and many menu items were missing. One cold tea tasted off and had to be taken off the bill. The chocolate cake looked like it was from Costco and tasted stale. Worse still, two of us developed mouth ulcers the next day — very concerning. Would not return.

We had to wait well over an hour for our breakfast to arrive. We also witnessed at least 4 groups leave very dissapointed as we arrived due to lack of service and delays. Our food ended up being cold and stale

The man who was managing the place, (bengali man with short hair) had a very negative approach to customers. I understood that it was a busy period where we will get our food late. We were seated but waited nearly an hour just for our order to be taken. No acknowledgement or apologies for the long wait. But we still ordered however after ordering we still did not get our food for over 30 minutes. I have a 1 year old son crying because hes hungry. We asked for the chips to atleast be given so that my son can eat which we requested three different times where in response they said that they will give it now. The last time my wife asked saying that can she please get the chips it's for my son which he responded "i know its for your son" which was the tipping point for me as his tone and attitude was very disrespectful. Other customers were offering their food for my crying son and we did not even get an apology. I will not be coming back to this establishment.

Went here with my family of 15 last night for my son's 18th birthday celebrations and can't recommend this place enough. Beautiful decor, welcoming, friendly and respesctful staff (who were so accommodating) and delicious desserts (when we were finally able to choose from the extensive menu). We all had such a great time. Thank you for making the evening so memorable.

I got invited by my son in law Jaabir who always speaks highly of this place and I enjoyed it very much. The food and the service was amazing, I will definitely recommend this place to those I know.

Very good cheesecakes with great taste

Hands down the best San Sebastián cake I’ve had in the UK, they do it perfectly! Most similar tasting to the famous Viyana Kahvesi in Istanbul. They use a good quality of chocolate and the cake is also light and creamy. Pair it with iced coffee and chefs kiss. Good customer service too and the place is very aesthetically appealing/ cute interior.

The customer service here is really warm and welcoming. I dropped a glass of water and there was no fuss just assistance. I got the pistachio and rose milk cake which was really nice!

Just left extremely disappointed. Tried to just grab a coffee and dessert but was told in no uncertain terms that we would have to wait a long time as they just had a party. But there was a handful of guests left and could quite easily have been accommodated. That being said the worst of this was the way we were spoken to by the (in my opinion) very young members of staff. Left feeling like crap. And defo won’t be return any time soon. Once customer service is treating customers like crap that’s it for me! We were told you can get a take away! Like is this how your staff speak to paying customers. Granted I would not have spent as much as your party would have but nevertheless I am still paying customer.

There was an apparent ‘technical issue’ with the waffle maker. Instead, i had to wait almost 30 minutes for the waffle. Ridiculous. Regardless, all orders take a generous amount of time to come through aswell as the staff promising fewer minutes than reality. Not only that but there was no ALLERGEN QUESTION, assuming there was nothing to be allergic to however the lotus biscoff waffle came with small nuts sprinkled all over it. Appalling. At the register there was no change meaning i had to wait even longer with no compensation either, unfortunately. Not coming back.

Absolutely outrageous. Upon entering the restaurant we had waited 10 minutes for someone to even ask us for our orders. The seats were dirty, encrusted with crumbs and food and tables that had leftover food sitting from the previous customers!!! After a long wait, the waitress had the audacity to say that the kitchen wasn’t accepting orders and could only take our drinks!!!!! But the worst of it… Our food had came, one order left and to our surprise no cutlery. I had to start eating with my hands!!🤬 We had asked repeatedly for cutlery but were only left on deaf ears. However, the food was good but was a shame it had turned cold after all the waiting… Would not recommend.

I would avoid this place like the plague. Me and my family attended yesterday and ordered a mixture of tea, coffees and dessert. Both the English breakfast tea was stale no taste at all, seemed like they bought tea bags from Aldi. I ordered a chai latte with oat milk, but the chai latte tasted like a strong espresso was overpowered with coffee. Not to mention, my chai latte was brought to my table 10minutes after my family’s tea and coffee, and I had to go up to the counter where I see the workers were chatting and having a right old giggle which I had to rudely interrupt. The owner at the end wanted to have a ‘two way dialogue’ after hearing about my dissatisfaction, but all he was doing was having a one way conversation allowing no input from myself. He tried telling me how a chai latte should taste like, he was very rude and didnt want to hold any accountability for his poor coffee. He needs to go back to basic, business rule 101 customers always right he needs to understand we came with the intention to have a good time. Now, I can see why the place that looks nice is empty regularly because of poor customer service and more importantly poor food. Ordered 5 teas of which 3 were not drinkable, avoid avoid avoid. Never again.

RUDE OWNER… visited this place with my family and was disappointed with their coffee and teas. Terrible service the waitresses gave all of our drinks apart from one where we waited 10-15 minutes before going to the counter and seeing theyre having a chat together whilst our chai is going cold! The owner seems super insecure the way he approached us and was struggling to take accountability for his poor quality and poor service. I myself love to see local businesses doing well however after experiencing an argumentative owner i would agree to all the negative feedback saying to avoid this place at all costs. After having a bad experience at this cafe i since read all the reviews and saw this owner did not just treat me and my family this way but all of his customers. No wonder the business is empty. AVOID AT ALL COSTS…

Amazing decor and atmosphere. Great breakfast food and desserts

Ordered on uber eats. Called the restaurant as the cake had no sauce on it and was very very dry. Lady on the phone who I believe was the manager was very rude. Plenty of good dessert and brunch places in east London.

The buldak loaded fries were my favourite and the signature pulled meat was good. The kunafa cake was underwhelming. Not very gooey or moist or flavourful but they have a huge menu which i will try different things. Service was okay considering they were busy. Atmosphere was nice. A lot of families/kids. Lovely interior and will come again.

6.45/10 Really conflicted mixed feelings about the place, the staff did try to be as friendly and as hospitable but just was a fair bit unorganized unfortunately, Same with the food Cookie dough with no ice cream? Tirimasu where you can't taste the espresso? And yh due to it being somewhat unorganised, Very very slow, Didn't help that it's not hmc so we couldn't try everything, For all the shortcomings the staff were very apologetic, The owners even helped us out with the bill coz they could see they wasn't on their top form, Im sure if you they just manage the resources they have available better, become hmc, drop this trend doing fake kunef and do it properly, place will be 10/10,

Food and dessert was delicious. I have visited multiple times and food has been on point every time. My favourite meal was the signature pulled meat with poached egg and hollandaise sauce. The karak chai was delicious, the milkshakes are made to perfection not runny. The cakes were all delicious, but the raspberry and pistachio was the best. Very kid friendly, the staff are so nice and helpful.

Another one that's been on our list to try for a while. Went during g the day, so there is a paid parking lot next to the school which was helpful. Inside is very nice, great decor, feels like a fancy restaurant. A nice big pink tree in the middle give us that elegant feel to the place. Staff very friendly before we even were seated, asking if we have any questions. We order the full English breakfast, and a breakfast wrap. The best thing, kids eat free during the holiday! The breakfast was very nice, good portion, nice seasoning and flavours. The price was actually decent for what you get. Karak chai wa sok, but have had better. Didn't have room for desserts, but they had a great lathe selection, so maybe next time need to try the desserts, and maybe different items in the breakfast menu. Overall a very nice place to go for breakfast or brunch, or even desserts, 9/10

Fantastic breakfast spot! The food was fresh, flavorful, and served piping hot. The menu had a great variety of options, catering to all tastes, including halal choices (if relevant). The staff were friendly and attentive especially Shuayb! Creating a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re after a classic English fry-up or something lighter, this place has you covered. Highly recommend for a satisfying start to your day!

I Took my mum for brunch.The food was delicious and the service was amazing (Shout out to Tayba and Yusra were extremely attentive during our stay, thank you ladies).

They have asked for feedback so thought I give my honest feedback. Full credit for the effort made in the decor, I can definitely see the place is nicely maintained. We had breakfast, and the food was ok, I won't comment much on the food, but the fresh orange juice drama today annoyed me! Asked if the juices that were on the menu if it was fresh, and it was all priced £1.99, the waiter advised me none are fresh apart from the orange, so I went ahead and ordered the fresh juice. The cup it came in was tiny, probably was only 100ml or less, was a bit a disappointed but thought o well, but the thing that annoyed me was when it came to bill they charged £3.95. I went back asked why it's double and 2 of the girls tried to show me that the fresh orange juice was different price but they could not find it themselves! Bit annoyed at the small glass they served it at, and they tried charging £3.95 for that and they could not find the price themselves! Normally for the sake of £2 I would just drop it and just go as I had many experiences where I was charged more but where the overall experience was good, I just didn't bother to pursue it, but as the glass was tiny, I made sure I get that difference back just purely out of principle! You cant charge for something that's not displayed on the menu! Bit of a shame really, as my friends and family do dine at that place and say it's nice, but the 2 times we went, it was really disappointing! Perhaps it was just bad experience on both occasions, maybe I will come for the desert one day and hope for the best!

Absolutely fantastic owners and team! I used Swirl drops for my engagement as vendors. They were very professional and the croffles were a great treat for the guests. The team were accommodating, kind and most importantly communication was consistent throughout the whole purpose. If anyone has a special day coming up, I’d highly recommend this to everyone!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Swirl Drop Treats. The restaurant’s cosy, halal, and family-friendly. Their menu is full of mouth-watering options. Starting with the savoury options, the Chili Cheese Paratha was a standout- spicy, cheesy, and perfectly balanced, the Classic Shakshuka, which was rich and flavourful, it made for a great start. The Masala Fish and Chips was another highlight, with the fish cooked to perfection- crispy on the outside and tender inside. The Buldak Pulled Meat beef was incredibly tender, full of smoky, spicy flavors that really hit the spot. For dessert, we indulged in some seasonal Winter Warmers. The Sticky Nut Pudding with Toffee Sauce was decadently sweet and comforting, while the Pecan Tart with Custard offered a perfect balance of rich and nutty with just the right sweetness. The Black Forest French Toast was a delightful twist on a classic, and the Apple Crumble Frappe was yum, with just the right amount of crumble. And of course, the San Sebastian Cheesecake with Biscoff sauce was to die for- creamy, indulgent, and totally worth every bite. The drinks were equally impressive. Their Karak Chai was perfectly spiced, making it an ideal companion for the meal. I also tried their Passion Fruit Mojito and Strawberry Mojito, both refreshing, sweet, and wonderfully fruity.

I came for family brunch on a Sunday, and what a beautiful place Swirldrop Treats is. The décor is cosy and well thought out, with attention to the smallest details. The staff were super friendly and attentive; we felt very welcomed and looked after. The food is a solid 9.5/10—a variety of drinks, mains, and desserts—absolutely delicious. The star of the day has to be the Knafeh pistachio croissant. What an indulgent, chocolatey treat. I am definitely coming back for more. Thank you for a lovely experience and thank you to Tayba, Khadija B and Aaliyah.

Didn’t go and sit in, got it delivered , and I will never again, Pancakes were undercooked and stodgy, milk cake tastes as if it had chemicals or plastic in it, and the tiramisu was so bland, no taste of coffee or sugar or chocolate, so bad , the worst dessert place I’ve tried

Swirl drop treats is definitely the place you would go to hang out with your friends. The ambiance was super nice and the place was spacious and the decor was so beautiful. The food was very good but I would like to try something new next time. The 2 waitresses habiba and Khadija were very friendly and they treated us really nice. This is a gorgeous and family-friendly place. Went here earlier today (late-morning on a Saturday) for brunch and dessert, and the food and service were 10/10. Didn't catch the names of the others, but a big shout out to our main serving staff member, Madiyyah, who is super knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you - we'll be back! 😊

Family friendly environment, pretty decor, good atmosphere and attentive service. In particular Habiba and Zaynab who dealt with our large group order. The buldak series is definitely worth a try, the wings in particular. Also, the pistachio kunafa brownie was really good! The pulled meat was equally as delicious!!

I recently visited Swirldrop Treats for breakfast and had a fantastic experience. Tayba, our server, was incredibly friendly, polite, and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcomed and well looked after. We ordered a mix of savory and sweet breakfast options — I tried the paratha with chicken tikka, which was delicious and perfectly seasoned, and also ordered the Nutella pancakes. The pancakes were fluffy, generously topped, and so filling that my son struggled to finish them! The ambiance of the café was charming and thoughtfully designed, making it a great spot to start the day. I’ll definitely be back for another visit and highly recommend Swirldrop Treats to anyone looking for a satisfying and delightful breakfast experience.

Been twice in two days, they have a unique selection of food made at a high quality. I ordered a Chiffle which unfortunately was a little burnt, but the manager swiftly replaced the meal and provided a drink on the house. Great customer service and great food - can't ask for more than that.

I ordered the Pulled Meat signature dish, which was nice but a bit sweeter than I expected. I also ordered the Classic Mojito which was again much sweeter than expected. WONDERFUL!!! The decor is beautiful and if hou are an ice cream enthusiast you MUST try their ice cream, especially with strawberries, the taste is BANGING!!! I was looking to try a new dessert place on a Friday evening and this place absolutely hit the spot. The ice cream is sooooo smooth and delicious, the strawberries were so tasty and delicious that I felt like I could literally feel the dopamine release! The only thing sweeter than the gorgeous dessert was the customer service. The guys there are so friendly and welcoming, I went for the first time and the staff were so genuine that I felt like a regular local. Great food, great staff, great venue. My new favourite dessert place. A true treat for the tastebuds. I will be back!!!
