Sweet Temptation Cakes by Nikkie French in Sheffield

The cake was stunning, it blew my mind when I saw it: a two tier chocolate ganache cake with two excellent hand crafted characters that imaginatively represented my partner (a head teacher) and myself (an artist) It was the perfect centre piece for our shared birthday party at the Swan Pub in Ridgeway. It also tasted delicious. I would recommend a celebration cake from sweettemptations for that special occasion

I ordered a salted caramel and toffee flavoured sheffiels Wednesday cake for a meal out with family for my husbands birthday. It looked amazing and tasted delicious everyone commented on how moist and tasty it was.

Amazing service and the cake is unbelievable we asked for a mermaid cake with reference photos and a number 6 made up of buns, everything was perfect with unbelievable detail we will definitely be getting a cake from Nikki again. The cake is so good we didn't even want to cut it 😂. 5/5 in every aspect, the cake and buns also taste amazing. The cake even had the beautiful touch of lights which was a wonderful surprise!

Nikki made my 30th birthday cake and it was I N C R E D I B L E!!! The theme was black and gold and she absolutely smashed it!! Our family have been using Nikki for over 5 years and the cakes are always impressive to look at and so delicious. We'll never use anyone else!!

I went with my partner for a consultation on booking our wedding cake and was met with a lovely, warm and friendly duo who made us so comfortable. I wouldn't wish to go anywhere else and can't wait to see the cake on the day. Nikki never treated us any different than she would a straight couple. Her cakes are amazing also, the nicest I've had in a long time.

Right I thought I would come on here and write my review!!! Nikkie is the most amazing and polite cake maker I have ever met! 😍 We have had loads of cakes from her, from my 18th to now my wedding cake! Even though a certain someone has tried to say Nikkie doesn't like same sex couples, I would like to you tell you she definitely does! Me and my wife to be couldn't be more impressed with the way Nikkie is as a person , and as a professional! She doesn't care if your gay, straight, black , white , or identity as a fish! She is there to do a job! she even treats all her customers like friends! Don't bad mouth a company just because they didn't pick to work with you because of YOUR attitude!

Absolute shambles. Met the owner at Hillsborough wedding Fayre and it was quite clear she wasn't keen on providing cakes for a same-sex wedding. after our enquiry we were ghosted by her and her husband for over a month and a half. After being assured by her admin team on her facebook page that she would reply "shortly'. A month and a half later and after several chasers by ourselves... we had subsequently received rude messages back by the owner i was then advised to message back in November to book a consultation for 2024. i messaged this evening (before November) to book a consultation and was advised that she was now fully booked. after alerting the owner to the fact i was advised to get back in touch in November i was met by a foul mouthed tirade online. If you don't wish to provide cakes for a same sex wedding please don't ghost us and turn abusive. atrocious customer service - oh and her husband hasn't replied to any enquiries we made for photographs also several months ago and chased again. i wonder if this would have been the same if we were a man and woman?

I can’t put into words how much I love this place & Nikkie! Me and my husband went here for a wedding cake and we couldn’t believe how kind and creative Sweet Temptation Cakes were! I didn’t feel like a customer at all but we felt like we had been friends for years! Nikkie kept us so relaxed when we tried our cake flavours and wrote out our designs. STC are honestly some of the most creative cake makers I’ve ever seen! The cake they made us was honestly so beautiful and really fit our personality, it was so much better then we could’ve ever asked for! Nikkie made our wedding cake and it was honestly the best tasting cake I’ve ever had! She went above and beyond from the moment I walked through the door to enquire up to delivering the cake on the day. Ive been having cakes of Nikki for 4 years now. Each cake as been uniquely designed top quality baking and awesome detail on the cakes. Highly recommend Nikki. Always top quality. I asked nikkie and her team to create a birthday cake for my daughters 1st birthday, went to pick up on 30th july, when my partner came home with it i cried abit, it was absolutely beautiful, i didn't want to cut it to share with family. Iv been having birthday and celebration cakes from nikkie french for the past 3 years and would'nt go anywhere eles ... everybody comments on how amazing they look and taste... this is my latest one and my grand daughter was blown away.. got another 2 cakes booked for my sons and my mothers cake this year ...nikkie is not only a brill cake maker and designer but also a down 2 earth lovely caring lady ... i would highly recommend her 2 everyone

I met Nikkie 2 years ago when i attended one of her cake decirating classes and we have since become goid friends. Nikkie is amazing at what she does nothing is too much trouble, she will go above and beyond for every single customer and order she receives. Met Nikkie at a wedding fair, she put me at ease straight away when I was worried I’d left it too late to order a cake. My daughter & I visited her business for a cake tasting where everything was professional, friendly and of course, delicious. I ordered straight away. Sadly Covid19 postponed our wedding but Nikkie was a star, no worries about rearranging. She also did me a last minute order of Birthday cupcakes in June with no problem, which were beautiful & delicious. Now that Covid19 has forced us to postpone again, Nikkie just said, “Not a problem, I’ve put it in the diary, we’re here for you”. 5*
