Ordered food got home for 3rd time food order incorrect , had to travel all way back asked for fresh order so other food not cold , returned home to cold rice that was missing , rest of order warmed so soggy and over cooked all went in bun won’t buy again and all I got was sorry twice

I asked a friend if they knew of a go Chinese takeaway and they put me on to sweet and sour. I’ve had some takeaways from here now and I’ve always tried something different each time never been disappointed always beautiful food and delicious I would and do recommend this place to eat.

Ordered the Cantonese style sweet and sour chicken with chips. Service was quick and efficient. Food was nice and portion was big! GIven 4/5 as personally I prefer another local take away. Great value.

We have eaten from here for a LONG time. But our last one I think. Bits of metal in the chicken wings, not sure how, but if my dad had swallowed the bits, the outcome could have been very bad it’s just not acceptable no matter how good the food has been before. Like metal from a can top. It’s really put us off eating here again :( see picture

Brilliant Chinese takeaway. I highly recommend the special curry or the crispy beef in sweet chilli sauce (see picture). I used to come here years ago, but when I moved out of the area, I changed who I used. After being let down by my previous regular place (see my reviews), I decided to give this a go and was not disappointed. The meat is good quality and not cheap and chewy. The curry sauce is dark and has a good hit of spiciness. Its collection only but worth it for the quality, and just a heads up that they only take cash, so come prepared before you pick up your order. It's an extremely busy place on Friday and Saturday nights, so I recommend phoning in advance and pre-ordering for your chosen time.

Really friendly lady served me, great food. Salt and pepper chips were great, good portions all round and the spring rolls were to DIE FOR. Very hot.

After being a good customer for many years yet again because of a allergy they got my order wrong and all the response was come and get another not good enough as they know about my allergy won't be going there again

The best Chinese ever! The set meal is a must if you love chicken balls and I really can't fault them. Great value for money. Been a customer for at least 15 years and would never leave.

Last minute tea stop after a long drive home from the partners. Made a pretty standard order, CHicken Balls, Noodles, Fried Rice and Chips, and have to say, I was impressed.The Portion sizes were huge for the price! The Chicken Balls were perfect. Crispy batter that was just thick enough with a good sized piece of chicken inside. You get 8 balls in a bag which isn't terrible and a huge, sticky, Sweet n Sour Sauce.The Fired rice was nice enough, howveer not the greatest i've ever had, but that was more than made up for in the portion size. Spare ribs were sticky and sweet and absoloutly to die for.Will be going again.

Very good take away, the curry is first class. We'll worth a visit.

I had to wait 30 minutes when I was told it would be 10. When I got home the curry sauce was missing. I phoned and was asked if wanted to go back. I informed them I would not be ordering again. This is normal service at sweet and sour

Sweet and sour is a small Chinese restaurant that only does collection orders and no deliveries, the women who's front of house is always rushing about as it's always busy but is always polite and kind, the food I've eaten from there is spot on, i can't knock it, cost wise is a bonus too, for a Chinese this place is reasonably priced too, always happy to pay the money

You can purchas a set menue from £8.95 the food is well cooked and very enjoyable you can phone in your order and they will advise what time it can be collected. There is a great choice on the menue

The food is cooked fresh and is always hot and stays hot for a long time after ordering! I've tried a few different dishes and have even asked for something that wasn't on the menu and the lady didn't hesitate to help. Think you!

Great food and superb value and service

Have ordered many different dishes here and all are well made and full of flavour. The currys are quite peppery with good deoth of flavour which suits us well. Only downside is they don't have a delivery service but apart from that no hesitation in recommending.

This is a takeaway restaurant only, one I visit regularly when I fancy a treat. The food is always freshly cooked, uniquely flavoured (the curry sauce is unlike others hereabouts for instance) and generously portioned. Family run, polite and clean, making me hungry just writing this!

Poor really, not worth the money spent. I'll begin my review now, just a quick warning that this restaurant is ABSOLUTELY ROTTEN. Firstly, as i walked in to the store i was greeted by poor customer service, they were not busy, just incredibly rude. I could them curse under their breath. Very horrible words i'd personally not like to repeat. Secondly, the whole establishment had a faint smell of urine. Don't know if this was down to some problems with piping but it was awful. The other customers walked out in disgust. Thirdly, the actual food was revolting. Obviously poorly cooked.

Just moved into the area and this one was recommended by someone at work, so we thought we'd give it a try and WOW what a find. Firstly couldn't believe how busy it was, always a good sign. We had 4 different main courses and everyone was great - the best being the sweet and sour chicken. Four very full and happy stomachs believe me and the staff couldn't rest the phone never stopped. Great valve for money, we'll be going back that's guaranteed.

The quality of the food they turn out is excellent. I have not found better in Bradford. I have even heard of a woman who lives in Scarborough, who comes to buy in bulk to fill her freezer. If you like Chinese you'll love Sweet N Sour.

I have been using sweet n sour for 10 years at least and i have never had a bad meal. The food is delicious and the price is really good, especially for the portion size. I would always tell people to use this chinese takeaway. One of the very best!
