Sweet Daisy in Denbighshire

We came to sweet daisy for ice cream after a meal at the pub. There were eight of us so a big order. The man who served us was lovely, smiley and patient. There was a long queue forming behind us but we didn’t feel rushed. The ice creams were delicious and my sister said ‘felt like they went on forever’ 😍 which is quite the compliment! I had a rocky road and it was the best most delicious ice cream I’ve had all summer. Thank you.

I spotted this shop from the coach window and had to go in. Unique fudge flavours, coffee, drinks and more. It was tough to choose flavours. The worker was lovely and the fudge we’ll worth buying.

Really nice place. Friendly staff. Plenty of ice cream flavours to choose from. Plenty of fudge choices and other kinds of desserts. Hot and cold drinks available.

The owner is a lovely man. But the woman he has as a member of staff is awful. I asked her for a sprinkle of chocolate powder on my sons shmoo as it wasn't chocolatey atal it just tasted like milk. She yelled at me said no and told me to jog on! Infront of my son . Disgusting woman! She clearly doesn't like her job rude and makes people feel awful. Shame as the owner is a very nice man , I won't be back because of her! Can't control her mouth around kids

Bought a meringue to take out and checked that it didn't have milk in it, with the person selling it, due to having an allergy. When eating the pieces from the bag, I ate flakes of white chocolate. Unsure whether this was on the meringue originally or was loose in the bag, but there were several pieces of it and either way, poses a serious health risk to someone like myself.

Context: Stopped by looking for a flask of tea on a long journey. Most cafes were closed, this was open. Bought tea with oat milk. Pros: The cakes looked good. I didn't get any of those. Cons: Was this tea? Pale, clumpy and weirdly fizzy. Possibly it was a new carton of oat milk that hadn't been shaken properly. Possibly it was a carton of oat milk that was weeks old. The tea was expensive and utterly undrinkable. Conclusion: Takes as the record as the worst cup of tea of my life. (Wish I'd had a cake...)

We went on wednesday after a bank holiday. The good point was the staff are very friendly. The cakes were underwhelming. They were ok but it seemed like they had been out all week which was a shame. The price was about as much as i would have thought reasonable for top notch cake but for cake which was past its best before left me thinking id been used to empy the old stock. I wont be going back and i wouldnt really recommend the place. Its a shame really because this could have been first rate

We called here for the first time earlier this week. Although we are local to Llangollen we had never called here before. On entering the place was exceptionally clean and tidy. The two members of staff were smiling and very helpful. We then saw the ice cream selection! Wow! I mean WOW! The selection was fantastic. The flavours were awesome. My wife chose rum and raisin and I had a double cone (of course!) of coffee and millionaires shortbread. The latter was a frozen version of the sweet tray bake which melted into a chocolate caramel heaven. The coffee was something else! Creamy, rich, roasted coffee but ice cold. Beautiful. I would tell you what the rum and raisin was like but my wife said it was too good for me to taste! We will definitely be regulars at this place for more ice cream and to try out the chilled sweets we spotted on our exit. Thank you to all the team.

Cakes sweets coffee everything that your heart desires. Great for people with sweet tooth will definitely be back soon for a coffee and cake

All I can say is wow! The selection of cakes, drinks and goodies is huge! Pleasant staff who know exactly what is on sale! If you have a sweet tooth then sweet daisies is the place to go!

Unhappy looking lady server. Please be smiling and welcoming as this is what makes us come back. I appreciate it was 9pm on a saturday night but if youre open you need to look like you want to be there!

Disappointed to dig into banana chocolate cake only to find base with a large amount of mold making me question freshness.

The lady who works there is so friendly, helpful and polite! Talk about service with a smile 😊 we always stop here on the way to seeing my partner’s grandparents and we are never disappointed. We always pick up 4 slices of cake and although it’s a bit pricey, it’s all homemade and tastes amazing! Definitely worth it ♥️🍰☕️
