Swagath Indian Restaurant in East Renfrewshire

The waiting staff are very attentive, always keen to help ,very polite. The food was very good ,full of flavour and a very good mix of spices. A great range on the menu.i would recommend this place,very relaxed atmosphere.

Out for dinner, local, delicious food and with the special 3 course for £14.95 what’s not to like. The food was delicious from the spiced onions with poppadoms which was an extra charge, starters of vegetable pakora was divine and the sauce was delicious, next up was a chicken korma which did not miss, rice and a plain naan bread was all spot on. No room for anything else, will definitely be returning and recommend to everyone

One of the best restaurant i have been to . We have been to few Indian restaurant in Glasgow , generally the curries have been bland . The waiter asked if we wanted the food desi style , all the curries tasted amazing , chilli ginger was the best of 4 curries we had . Nan were very soft . Amazing service , amazing food . Would be back if we visit Glasgow again.

If you value your money do not go here we ordered a takeaway from here and they gave us the wrong order/wrong curries , we were given a £30 credit as an apology and to let us try again, called in advance and was told it would only be a ten minute wait 40 minutes later we were still waiting. Also had the chance to watch a group of rats that I have photos and videos of running about the bin which put me off my foot to start with. Drove 15 minutes home to find out once again wrong order we called to complain as it's ok having a bad day and maybe getting things wrong but for it to happen twice is just unacceptable. The customer service is horrendous and got told they couldn't bring the missing food to us that we would need to go get the food again spending more money on petrol to go get the missing items. We told them we would be leaving a bad review and they told us yeah go do that. Absolutely disgusting way to talk to customers all because they are viral on tik tok they think they don't need the custom. Will never recommend this place food is disgusting and rats outside no thanks

A delightful restaurant with great parking. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The food is a very high standard Nepalese cuisine. Thoroughly recommended

Saturday night takeaway (thankfully Ant & Dec didn't appear) Set meal was chosen good value for money. Went in to collect and the place was packed, a good sign. Meal comprised; poppadom with spiced onion, the obligatory freebie which was good. Veg pakora, this is never as good in a takeaway as sit in so it was slightly disappointing. Lamb bhuna with boiled rice very good but had to be reheated in the micro. Naan (extra payment) I reheated this in the air fryer, this worked a treat. All in all good value for money. Service good but staff looked slightly stressed spinning plates with sit in, takeaways and answering multiple telephones.

Excellent place for eating out with family and friends. Such friendly welcoming nice staff We always go once a month ! As usual Swagath never fails to impress me with great food,amazing staff and service. We are group of five families who have been going to Swagarth on New Year’s Day for a number of years and are always looked after well by the wonderful staff.
