Sutton Kebab in Sutton

Can’t complain about the food as is typical kebab shop food. After waiting 1.5 hours for my food I called the shop 122 times and had no answer. We then drove to the shop to be told they’re busy and “will do the order now” which should have been being processed already. Have completely poor organisation and capacity management and take on too many orders for a shop that clearly cannot handle it. Even though I ordered for delivery was offered nothing for the inconvenience of a 2 hour wait and having to collect.

Based on the last time I visited this shop in 1991 when it was El Emek - best shish kebabs in sutton and I'm sure nothing has changed.

First of all Arrogant Owners, late deliveries in fact when you complain delivery is late thats when delivery is sent out. It seems like only thing this restaurent cares about is arbitration than actually delivering good product. Stay away ..............

I tried Sutton kebab for the first time today 10/12/23. I walk past it daily and today I thought I'd give it ago. Well needless to say I'VE BEEN MISSING OUT. This place is incredible. I ordered the mixed meat box with chips and salad. My girlfriend ordered the halloumi wrap with salad and BBQ sauce. The food arrived quickly, it was fresh, hot and presented really well. The chips are incredible. The meat was unbelievable, tasted fresh, full of flavour and not greasy. The salad was lovely and fresh. Honestly I can't complain. I'd give this place a 10/10. Can't wait to order again 🤣

I am very cautious of what I write as reviews effect businesses. With all my consciousness, here's is my take on Mustafa's Sutton Kebab (SK). I know Mustafa as a hard working man, but who is always under immense stress. Upuntil few months his wife has joined him catering his business needs, but every time I visit them, the vibes there is as both of them work under great pressure. I have very rarely seen them smiling. The food quality is okay-ish to get by, but definitely could be better. I had no problems up with anything up until now, but last week's experience has changed everything. This one experience has convinced me to come to this that I have taken it to write a review and let Suttoners decide, if SK need to review it's owner's behavior. I ordered my usual from the last 5-6 years which is Extra Large Chicken Doner, everything separate in a box. So I paid as asked, took the package home and found out it wasn't my order. Called them, lady picked up, and I assured her that package wasn't mine. Now here is the problem, which I cannot understand. When a customer has lodged a mistake in a order, in a nicest possible manner, what should the owner do, her reply should have been, 'no problem sir please bring over and I will look into it'. But rather, she went on a denial mode saying what she has served and how she has served. This wasn't relevant. I literally had to tell her, I am coming to show you of what you have given me. So I had to go back, which I didn't moan about as I live only five minutes away, to show them what they had given me. Now is the fact that came up and for years I didn't realize Mustafa is so arrogant. Without checking the food bag, Mustafa and his Mrs said, do you want your money back and go somewhere else. This rudeness was definitely not needed. When I asked them to check the order, they discussed something in their own language, without saying a word Mustafa served me with my proper order. It's only when I asked for the apology that he owes me for the rudeness he said 'sorry' with a strain. Mrs said nothing. I had to tell him off that I have known him for years and I have never been rude to him or to his Mrs so why was he rude. At this he mentioned, 'i have said sorry haven't i'. Here's my advice to Mustafa, be nice to people and your customers, as you are not doing a favour serving them, it's rather the customers visiting your business. It's a both ways, give and take, you will get respect but don't forget to do your bit. If you close Sutton Kebab, tomorrow, no one will be effected by your closure there are eateries all around you.

Worse doner meat I've ever tried. Doner meat and chips asked for mayonnaise it's was absolutely smothered in mayo Absolutely disgusting

I've had many home deliveries from sutton kebab. To be honest, my order has been slightly confused twice, but on both occasions have been rectified very quickly. Our food has always been hot on delivery and very friendly staff. Still my favourite kebab shop. 185x

This food is second to none! Always hot and tasty. Improvements needed on delivery as this establishment is very popular ans busy always so wait time is often a while. Otherwise absolutely recommended this as the best kebabs in Sutton.

Very dissapointed ordered from here not for the first time and chilli sauce missed off order even when stated do not forget it this is the fifth time they have done this very annoying especially when we had family around totally ruined the evening will never order from here again

Delivered on time and hot, very tasty, would have been a 5* but the large and small dishes were reversed but other than that very good, would recommend and will order again. Good sized portions, enough for lunch today also.

Got a chicken shish wrap for £8.20 and it had only 5 pieces of chicken in it. It mostly just had lettuce and onions in the tortilla. There are other kebab shops around that give you much more for what you pay.

The kebab is very good and it worth to wait even on weekends when they are loaded with orders and it takes 15-20 minutes to get your food.

Ordered my food just before 9pm and was told that it would be an hour to deliver as they were busy, This i was fine with but after an hour and twenty minutes still no food. Phoned up to find out where the order was, told they are waiting for the chicken to cook. I cancelled the order, This was the first time of ordering so will not order again. Was looking for a regular Friday night takeaway and this isn't it.

The best kebab in sutton. Will recommend 💯. Very kind staff too and even got free drinks on my birthday. The shish kebab with garlic sauce is my favourite on the menu. Fresh salad and naan bread is very good too. They deserve 5 stars

Ordered food from here and they dont send the right food or they would send the right food with rong sauces on it. e.g orded chicken kebab salad may no onions they send that with burger sauce an 4 tiny bits of chicken also never on time never what u ask for if not they make what they like or forget stuff

The worst kebab shop ever! Fancied a night off cooking so thought I'd give them a go. Big mistake! Ordered a large lamb shish, small chicken shish and small chips £18.40! It was delivered as 'make your own' and portions were small. A bit of meat, small pitta bread and lots of white cabbage and onion! Lamb was tough and chewy (like chewing on a rubber tyre!) and cold. Inedible! Phoned to complain and was greeted by a 'charming' lady who said in a stern voice "we've been here 5 years and this is how we make it! If you don't like it, go somewhere else!" Outstanding customer service skills! Value for money? Big NO! Now we're starving and it looks like I have to rustle something up after all. Avoid this place! You have been warned! We will never use this place again!

The worst kebab shop I've ordered from. We ordered a large chicken shish, rice, a fillet burger and that was it..Came to £18.30...Ridiculous...Rang up disgusted with the amount of food we got, there was just no quantity. The chicken shish was SMALL and there was a moundful of cabbage to compensate for the lack of food. Rang up and and was in a stern direct tone, told the lady and she started getting irate and name-calling. Called me 'thick-skulled' which I found bemusing. Anyway, I wouldn't order from here again, they just con you and have 0 customer service skills. VERY BAD.

Amazing amazing amazing. love this place. Every time I phone for an order I have a combination kebab, and to have the meat well done. And every time without fail they deliver a well done mixed donar. Sometimes I have to wait, especially when there busy, but well worth the wait. All the other kebab shops I've used always start with it well cooked, but when your a regular they end up just serving you fast and just slam it in and that will do. Not here. Not once. Amazing. Sutton kebab to me is The best place by far, nice all round, especially the lady with the pleasant voice taking your order. Beautiful

Well this place was taken over by some new people about 12 -18 months ago and was refurbished nearly as soon as they got it the shop looked run down when you walked into it but now beautiful, T.V while you wait anyway staff very nice food very nice so far no complaints,we only ordered 2x small Donna's and large chips to go,one garlic sauce,and with chilli sauce and all the salad on both but I can just about finish that but not always,they do phone orders but I like to go and get mine from the shop myself and speak to the staff as it's a good friendly atmosphere in the shop from the staff.

So i ordered delivery from Sutton kebab. Chicken doner meal. It was terrible. the chicken like it was cooked yesterday and it was dry and crusty and really over done, then they filled the kebab with sauce and it was literally dripping out and made the wrap all wet. Literally worst kebab ever. Chips were cold on arrival. Would not order from here again. One positive the delivery driver was very polite and fast, even if the food was cold and awful!!!!

We have known and been to this place for 10 years. Very friendly family have taken over this shop couple of years ago and it's never failed to deliver just amazing food. I love the fact that they don't overprice and don't cut on portions. Very clean, refurbished shop.

Orderd me and my partner a chicken shish kebab, we don’t eat a lot normally a small is fine. We received it on time but I could not believe my eyes, there was 4 SMALL bits of chicken in each kebab for £7 was smaller than a kids meal....

Order was 50 mins late, not a good start, lesson to be learnt in customer service too where an apology would have been nice rather than “Your order will be out next”. Food was ok but nothing special, 2 stars given on the basis that the food satisfied my hunger.

The worst chicken donner I ever bought. The French fries had a lot of oil, even jutted out and dipped part of the wrapper. Really disgusting. 1h 15 min to deliver delivery. First and last time I buy here

I am so angry and this is my very first negative review. We just ordered from here. After an hour we rang to see where our order was and they said we were next. Another 45 minutes later we called again and they said the driver had gone back to the kebab shop as the buzzer did not work on the flat.....rubbish. We eventually got our meal and 2 pound was taken off our 32 pound meal...... Whoopee. When we started dishing up there was one kebab missing so we had to call again. The lamb doners were dry the chicken and chips were dry and chicken shish was not that good either. The delivery driver who came both times was as usefull as a chocolate tea pot and could hardly speak a word of english when we tried to complain. Overall service.......crap
