SushiVan in Aylesbury Vale

So lucky to have these chaps nearby so that we can get some decent sushi. Have recommended to lots of people. Like the previous reviewer, we have also done a sushi making class with them but a couple of years ago now. We went with a couple of friends and had a very jolly evening, drinking prosecco and making/ eating sushi. I think we might have to do it again soon actuality.

We love sushi from Shusivan. This weekend we partook in their sushi making course and we had such a brilliant afternoon - great fun, brilliant teachers and you end up with a wonderful spread of sushi (made by you) which you take home...as well as eating all the way through. Fabulous experience - thoroughly recommend. Gary

The food might be good; will taste later but they delivered to the wrong address (just received an email saying my delivery was a success); missed a call but no message. When I telephoned they made out that it was my problem they delivered to the wrong address and sent a text message to me in error saying “she’s found it. Bit moody isn’t she” No, not moody, just impatient with poor customer service and complacent delivery.

With no options for sushi/sashimi in the local area, I was dubious as to whether a delivery service would satisfy our hunger for good Japanese food, how wrong was I!!! The quality of the sashimi and sushi rolls was excellent, I've eaten at a good range of Japanese restaurants and this was up there with them. The delivery service was spot on, with an initial 3 hour window on ordering, narrowed to 45 minutes on the day and arriving 7 mins from the start of the slot. The food came well packaged and presented, with plenty of condiments and chopsticks. The range of options is perfect for our tastes and the price point, whilst not cheap, feels reasonable for the quality of the product. In conclusion, whilst my preference would be to eat out for Sashimi, Sushivan offers a genuine credible alternative that we will be having again soon.

Brilliant subscription service has recently been introduced and if Sushi Van ordering wasn't easy enough this take it to a different level. Delivery time keeping is impeccable and the the quality of the Sushi outstanding, we love it.

Ordered for a Friday night treat, beautifully packaged, sashimi was amazing and fresh, kind of melt in the month. Spicy tuna roll was delightful to eat and the wasabi felt whipped , light, fiery but did not over power the fish. Some of the best sushi I have eaten. Already landing the next meal.

This was ordered by my brother as an anniversary surprise for us and it was delivered in time and in a great way, presentation was brilliant! They even put a note wishing us a happy anniversary on even thought they were not asked to which says that they go the extra mile for their customers. The sushi itself was so tasty especially the deep fried ones. I would not hesitate to order from them again and recommend them to anyone who likes sushi. Oh and we are vegetarian and the choice is brilliant!

We had a takeaway delivery last week. The All the Roll plater was very good. The grilled eel sushi extra was just as good. The quality and value for money was excellent. I would recommend and will use again.

This sushi is amazing - some of the best I’ve had! Absolutely in love with the salmon sashimi and platters. The bonus is they deliver from Aston Clinton to Watford - and I’m sooo pleased. So easy to order, choose a time slot that suits you, and bingo!

I've eaten sushi here many, many times. Each time is a delight. Everything is fresh, the nigiri and rolls are huge - far too big to eat in one bite! They always deliver on time. They don't use a lot of packaging. I always look forward to ordering from here. I'm only leaving this review because I've just eaten part of the tuna lovers selection and my tummy is smiling 😃

Had a delivery today from these guys and it was fantastic,very fast delivery and tasted out of this world. Beautifully presented and packed with lots of great flavour. Very fresh and could eat this every day best ever beats top restaurants in London. Comes highly recommend check them out now......

OMG our Sushi was absolutely delicious, absolutely nothing went to waste. As you can can see beautifully presented in boxes and with chopsticks. Sushi Van was so helpful when it came to ordering and delivery. I got a message an hour before saying when they would be delivering. The service was excellent. Very impressed! Wonderfully fresh sushi, big portions, all delivered to Beaconsfield - what more could we ask?! The platters are easily enough for two people - we slightly over-ordered and had the rest for lunch the next day - yum! The wasabi is potent too - wonderful. Will definitely be re-ordering more very soon. Great value.

Sushi Van was recommended to us by some friends and what a recommendation! It kept us sane through lockdown, helping us celebrate events that would’ve be rather flat at home without some fab food! We love sushi, have had plenty in Japan and this IS the closest you’ll get for some distance in the UK! Super friendly and accommodating service and the sushi is FANTASTIC!!!!

We had known about SushiVan and their reputation for a while but didn’t realise that we could collect from the kitchen as they don’t currently deliver to our area.When we saw on social media that we could collect we decided to give them a try over our usual Sushi restaurant and boy we weren’t disappointed, it has to be right up there with the best sushi we have ever had, simply put the freshest of ingredients, great presentation and fabulous combinations, the rice was cooked to perfection and beautifully moist in fact we didn’t use as much soy sauce as we normally do as we wanted to savour as much of the flavours as possible.We believe that delivery may be coming to our area but if it doesn’t we’ll be happy to travel for the quality we received.

Delighted to learn that at last there, is a sushi place that delivers. I ordered the Seaweed Salad, a poke bowl and a box called Tempura Lovers . Came to £31, but I had the poke bowl the following day for lunch as I was full after the box. Sushi was fresh and delivered on time .

This company only offers delivery or take away. Food delivery on time, very good service and everything was well accommodated. Food simply delicious and very fresh. I ordered food for 6 person. Everything was served with very good proportions, very well presented. Highly recommend.

Fantastic, freshly made sushi! We have had both delivery and collections a number of times now and can’t rate SushiVan highly enough. The fatty tuna in particular is absolutely top rate.

We had two platters delivered for my birthday recently. It was five minutes late and all gone 25 minutes later. It was delicious, even my husband who is not as keen as me was saying we should order again. He is not so keen on salmon and Sushivan were able to sub for less salmon. We will be ordering again.

We’ve ordered several times and have enjoyed everything. We are particularly fond of the avocado crunch rolls and the soft shell crab uramaki. Fantastically fresh sashimi too! You’ve gotta try it.

What a joy to discover this company delivers to your door. Nice fresh sashimi and maki, nigiri and rolls. Filling, tasty and a great variety at a reasonable cost. This is the second time I have ordered from sushivan and the portions are very generous and flavours superb! Its great to have this on our doorstep ....literally!

I regularly order from Sushivan and since they opened have been in love with the fresh, delicious sushi that they deliver right to my door. Not only is the quality of the fish to an extremely high standard, the menu creative as well as honouring authentic tradition, and the service outstanding but Sushi Van also brought sushi to Hemel Hempstead (and surrounding area). A lifelong lover of raw fish, I had struggled for literally years as I was unable to find anywhere that would sell me sushi, for any amount of money, within a realistic distance. I almost cried the day that I first ordered from Sushi Van, I was so thrilled that an organisation had finally stepped up and was willing to take my money in exchange for the raw fish that I so craved. It’s not just that they’re the only option though, I’ve eaten a lot of sushi, from many different towns, cities and counties and can safely say that Sushivan offers top of the range fish. I’ve literally never had a bad experience with Sushivan, the staff are extremely friendly and happy to help, they always accommodate any ‘off-menu’ requests I have, or orders made on the slightly late side. I’ve never received my orders late and have absolutely nothing less than praise for them. My favourite dishes are the salmon sashimi, sea bass nigiri and spicy tuna tempura roll, which I highly recommend. Sushivan seemingly always have fun, creative new rolls that are available to order and the menu never gets old! Thank you, Sushivan! For filling a local gap in the market and resultantly improving the quality of my life by approximately 500%.

Delicious and fresh sushi. We love the tempura rolls. So happy to have discovered Sushivan - before we did so, we had to literally travel miles for decent sushi. Now we don’t even leave home! Result
