Lovely staff always welcoming tastiest bubble tea locally reasonable price as well decent cup size. Just needs a thorough shake to mix the syrup. Not overly sweet either ideal if you want a refreshing drink highly recommended

We have been this place few times after discovering it last month. Everything is perfect from Food to Customer service. Lady at the counter was very pleasant and very welcoming interacted with Kids every time we went there. Its our regular go to place now.

Even after more than a year, Sushi Box Batley continues to impress with its consistently high standards. Though the restaurant is small, it serves up delicious Japanese cuisine. The sushi is made fresh, and the salt and pepper chips are absolutely to die for. I also tried the noodles and wings, both of which were perfectly seasoned. Prices are reasonable, especially given the generous portion sizes. Definitely recommend! Also, huge shoutout to Aica for her menu recommendations and for being so efficient with our order!

From the second I walked in until I walked out I was welcomed, listened to, made to feel very comfortable then to top all that the food was UNBELIEVABLE. The fresh taste in your mouth from the seafood is refreshing, the meat/veg/rice ratio in the sushi is perfect! Marc who works there could not have done anymore for us and I honestly cannot wait to go back. He is a keeper!

Such a little gem in Batley. We chanced upon it whilst looking for a place to eat, not expecting anything special. However, we were so surprised at how wonderful the food was! We had chicken karaage ramen, salmon and avocado roll, salmon temaki, chicken katsu curry, and chicken gyoza. All were yummy but the salmon avocado roll was the show stopper. The portions are big and reasonably priced. But the highlight was the SERVICE, with Dexter, Michael, and Aika making sure everything was perfect. Great people with warm personalities. On a side note, the Mortal Combat arcade machine kept our little one entertained. :) Will definitely go back everytime we visit Leeds.

Came here for the first time today and definitely the first of many, the food here is AMAZING. I got the chicken karage baos, the buns were soft the chicken fried to perfection and the toppings all complimented each other perfectly, the different textures and flavors made it the best boas I've ever had (granted I haven't had many😂). The togarashi seasoning on the fries was pretty good too but for me a little too salty that's just personal preference tho. I also got the spicy tuna temaki which again was to die for although small it was packed with flavour and the tuna although spicy wasnt overwhelming just enough to know it's there. One thing I don't normally get at fast food places but did here was the customer service was excellent, since it was a quieter time the cashier kept checking in to make sure everything was ok and asking if I needed anything else which made the overall experience that much better. I cannot recommend this place enough and will definitely be back to try more things.

amazing sushi, udon, bao buns just everything every time! we always enjoy coming down here and the staff are so lovely. there’s a vegan and vegetarian in our little group and there’s plenty of options for us the half an hour drive is worth it every time

I rarely write reviews, but felt compelled today as the sushi was amazing! I was at a ridiculously expensive London sushi restaurant earlier in the week and can genuinely say that the California roll here surpassed it in quality and taste. Service also lovely and friendly. Can’t recommend enough ❤️

Beautiful food large portion size and the food is fresh with authentic flavours. Can not fault the katsu curry so tangy and crispy with sticky rice. Perfect.

The food is world class and served with care. The staff are extremely welcoming and the service is as good as it gets. I have only scored the atmosphere down as it’s not really a big spot but it’s fully irrelevant to the experience. Will be coming here regularly. Amazing little spot 👊🏻

Firstly polite customer service, secondly food was on time nice and warm, now the quality, I'm not gonna lie but some great sushi and always recommend it to my friends, if your a sushi lover, this place is a must try! Oh and I've come back to this place over and over again, that's when you know it's great! And it's halal!!

Staff were very kind to us, offered us free bottled water and made good conversation with us. The food was extremely good quality too as well as the inside of the joint was spotless including the table we were sat on! Would recommend!

Very slow service always takes hours

Really lovely staff!! Food was amazing too - I'm always impressed when I eat here! They brought us spring rolls on the house too, which were also amazing! I had the pulled beef ramen and my partner had the salmon avocado sushi rolls and both were on-point. The ramen was especially good - would recommend

I’ve had sushi in multiple places across the world, and sushi box serves some of the best sushi I’ve ever had in my life. The owners are always polite and friendly, so if you like amazing food and fantastic customer service? You’ve got to go!

Amazing food, enough for what you pay and friendly staff not pricy

This place never disappoints. I’m a huge fan of Asian food especially Japanese and Korean. Most places “attempt” to accurately represent those flavour but the team at sushibox succeed at doing so. Get whatever you want, you won’t be disappointed!

Me and my missus just got food from here. Pulled Beef Ramen and Chicken Katsu curry.. both absolutely delicious!! Sooo much flavour from the katsu and the broth from the ramen!!

Wow just been here with few work colleagues and food is amazing!! But the staff even nicer, we had such a great time it was all laughter from the minute we walked in to the time we left.. i would absolutely recommend this to anyone!! First time eating at Shushibox, the ramen is incredible and the chips are insane. I also had the sushi tacos which were soooo good. I 100% recommend eating here. It’s amazing.

My family and a few friends came quite late about 2 weeks ago on a Saturday night, towards the closing and we eat quite a bit but the host was very easy to talk to and was very accommodating. My mates loved the food and asked me to let the chef know that the food was amazing and at a great price especially for sushi!. Sushi was amazing as my wife is pregnant and can only have cooked. Loved everything about this place! Been coming for a few years now and still great throughout! Definitely a must try if your in the area! 5 Stars!

The food was really nice. Fantastic portion amd freshly made every time. The calamari was good but would prefer thicker pieces rather than skinny ones. The chicken bao bun was good - needed a bit more sauce and just a bit less bread but overall tasty. Purchased the dynamite roll and the eruption roll - these were nicely presented and tasted really fresh. Would need to try the remaining sushi to see where I stand but for now it's 4.5/5 for the sushi I did have. Will come and try others and update soon!

Friendly atmosphere. First time at Japanese restaurant with family. Arrived when closing soon but had excellent service, hot tasty food, we were not rushed at all. Jonathan was good company and patient. Will go again. Most importantly it's HMC Certified 👍

Ordered on line and called in to collect, the shop is clean and comfortable. Food was as described, fresh and tasty. The best sushi for miles around. Recommend the octopus balls. Will be ordering again.

Food was Amazing the staff were amazing the atmosphere was amazing everything was great what I enjoyed most wasn't even the food but the customer service everyone was so friendly and patient with me ordering and my hundreds of questions me and my sister really enjoyed it the food was great I had the chicken katsu curry I think and I never usually finish food because it's not as good but the bowl was finished I also had the tuna nigiri what was amazing but I enjoyed the customer service it makes the shop feel much better and they were all friendly NO FAVOURITES!!! But big up to my guy Charles who tried teaching me how to use chopsticks and the other guy who was very friendly too will be back everytime I'm in town

Great find, really flavourful and tasty food.

Really friendly & lovely staff. A few things we wanted (California roll & others) were out of stock, so we ended up with very similar fillings with our sushi choices- would’ve liked more variety. Delicious nonetheless. Would recommend the spicy edamame, and squid for starters / side dishes. Found the drinks / bubble tea options limited - but okay overall. The restaurant is clean, and nicely decorated. Staff were kind enough to allow my friend to pray in store and even turned off the music for her. Would go back for the sushi as it was simply delicious.

Omg!!! The food is amazing, the sushi is one of the best Iv ever had, the beef teriyaki wow and Tokyo drip wings is a must so fresh crispy and saucy, wow I’m hungry again. MUST TRY

Went this afternoon for a late lunch. Had Bao buns, noodles and rice dish. Very tasty and full of flavour!! Could do with more seating, definitely a busy place.

Just tried some sushi from here and very impressed! Very fresh food, fantastic taste and very good presentation. The staff were helpful and friendly and even talked to me whilst I waited will 100% be back to try some more from their menu.

Had been a few months ago and really enjoyed the food however tried again last night and the food was a complete let down. Katsu sauce that came with the curry was as runny as water with poor quality meat and the sushi was okay at best. Definitely won’t be returning again.

Me and my wife eat here not often enough , the food is always really fresh and truthfully cooked to order , i had tofu teryaki and my wife had a king prawn udon which were both delicious. the team are really friendly and care about cooking the best for their customers , cant wait to visit again for great food and good conversations, Thankyou sushi box team

Food was delicious but very hot. Kids couldn't finish theirs. Good I ordered sushi 🍣 so they had that to replace their meals. Shame they don't make other recipe.

Sushi is very fresh and moist, the rice and sashimi are flavourful and comes with sauces that harmonise together. Would really recommend, best Sushi in West Yorkshire area!

The chicken teriyaki tasted off and like it was a few days old. Salt and Pepper wings were DRY to the bone with next to no flavour. Chips were okay but were literally just fried with some peri peri salt thrown on them. OVERPRICED and a rip off. Avoid.
