This place is a gem. Made to order, fresh and consistently good. Try the chefs special combo. Dragon roll nice too. Nice guys.

I’ll never order from this place again… unfortunately. They do good food however, it’s the second and the last bad experience with them. I am waiting for my order to arrive for the last 2 hours. Called the restaurant 30 minutes ago and they said I’ll receive it in 5. And here I am 25 minutes later… Hopefully it will arrive. Read lots of reviews from customers who never received their order and a refund hasn’t been provided.

I really loved having my food delivered from sushi world the staff are very friendly and the driver was very polite and the food was excellent. I would definitely reorder from this restaurant.

Food was late, when it turned up it was the wrong order and I basically couldn’t eat it as it was fish and I’m vegan so I was disgusted by the service. When I called up the restaurant and explain the problem they told me it’s none of their problem. Will not be ordering again.

Excellent service really friendly guy on the phone who helped me and went out his way.Will always order sushi from sushi world, it’s delicious and arrives so quickly. 6 out of 5 stars ⭐️

Im really disappointed i didnt recieve my drinks even though i called the restaurant for them. I want a refund for them.

Waited 50 minutes for delivery as detailed when order was placed however food arrived cold and as of poor quality. Not worth the £30 spent for 2 bento meals. Will not be ordering again.

The chicken yaki udon was delicious. Decent portion size too. The gyoza are deep fried and served with sweet chilli mayo (just in case you were expecting steamed Chinese-style gyoza with a vinegary dip).

Very bad service, won’t use them again

DON'T ORDER FROM HERE. First time they were close to 1 hour late, gave them a second chance and they were late by 45 mins. Thier customer service is rude and dismissive. Food is not worth the service.

We where a little worried that the portions would be too small however was more than we expected! During this pandemic we couldn’t get out so opted to spend a little more, the quality of the food turned the order into a surprising home date. I was so a little late opening the door, the driver could have just left the food outside as he heard I was in the bathroom I rushed downstairs to find him still waiting. He said he was worried leaving the food due to the amount of cats waiting around(note neighbour has a lot of cats) to be service is extremely important, those tiny little things are what keep me coming back—I will definitely order again.

The food is pretty good, I have ordered it from them several times, always a bit late (10 min on average), but yesterday the sushi has arrived after 70min. I have called the restaurant asking what happened to my food, and the guy on the phone straight away told me the the driver was 10 min away and he hanged out on me with no apologies. I have asked money back as the food was delivered with over an hour, and this morning the restaurant replied that the driver was stuck in a traffic, it’s actually very funny as we are in quarantine and I don’t see many cars around. I won’t order it anymore from this restaurant.

We received a completely wrong order whereby we called to explain. The person on the line mentioned that he’ll get the driver to exchange our food. However, when I called them 20 minutes later on an ETA from the driver (which they didn’t provide), they insisted that the driver gave us the right order (if this is the case, why didn’t the restaurant call us to mention that? Only found out after calling them for an update). And then they decide to cancel our initial order - no explanation, no apologies. The person on the line was rather abrupt and rude as well. Will never order from Sushi World again!

Food arrived an hour late even though I ordered it 2 hours before. the issue was still not that but the behaviour of the restaurant when I called to enquire. The person was rude and unapologetic! At least have the courtesy to notify the right time of delivery and be polite! Bad service!

The quality of food was outstanding .and even though there was over an hour wait I would order again. Was very unimpressed by the food being late and not being contacted by the restaurant to say there would be a delay. Requested a text though Just Eat which I never got and had to call multiple times to get an estimated time of delivery, after it was already late by thirty minutes

The worst experience so far. We've spent hundreds of pounds at this place over the years and this time order was an HOUR late with just excuses on the phone AND many of the pieces had fallen apart. Shocking. NEVER AGAIN. So much for loyalty...

Terrible service. Food took 2.5 hours to arrive and passive aggressive customer service rather than a genuine apology. Food quality was pretty good but wouldn't order again.

Very disappointed with food quality. Teriyaki salmon was shredded instead of whole and did not smell fresh, it had too much sauce and it was far too sweet. Poke had hardly any fish but was filled with not-too-fresh salad from a packet. Veggie Gyoza’s filling was not great, mushy and didn’t taste like much.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! Your delivery driver is incredibly rude and can't deliver to flats!? What did i pay £3 for? Left my food outside for someone else to take! Unacceptable! NEVER ordering from here ever again!

They had to give me udon noodles instead of rice and the portion was tiny, so definitely not worth £8.49. It was still tasty though and the portion sizes for the other stuff was decent so good rating from me

Food delivery time was 2 hours from ordering time...we ordered three dishes. When I called the restaurant the manager didn’t apologise and tried to hang up immediately. The delivery person rang me up to get me to come down to the block entrance rather than buzzing in. When I asked why he said he was too busy to deliver it normally. Annoying experience.

I had to go next the gate because the driver said he wasn’t allowed to come in the building.

They are 20 minutes late, won't pick up the phone and the app says the food has been delivered even though we are still here waiting. We've been ordering from them for a long time and they've been always slightly late but nothing major. We do understand that these are difficult times but we didn't get anything for our money so far. We'd like someone to explain what's happening.

Small portions and karaage was unlike any I have ever seen. Not worth nearly 30 pound for four small tiny things.

Sushi was a bit expensive for what it was but fresh and tasty. Order tool 1h40 to arrive (on a Tuesday!) which was 30 minutes later than the time quoted. Will order again but only as a treat.

Advertising vegan sushi then shipping it with non-vegan dishes is awful - really implies non-vegan kitchen practices. The lettuce in the bento box was sorry looking. Awful climate to complain but pretty expensive.

Understandable in these difficult times but dinner was VERY late. Tip: Order early, just in case.

The courier at first wanted me to come down at take the order from his hands. When I reminded him about social distancing, he refused to come up and leave the order at the doorstep of my flat. The miso soup smelled so weird I didn't risk to eat it. Other food tasted strange as well. The chicken was dry. Not recommended.

Quite expensive but nice food and good variety.

Whilst some of the food tasted nice the food took 2 hours to arrive. When it arrived the hot dishes were cold. I rang the restaurant twice - first time at 1h25m - told it would be 2 mins. The second time I called at 1h 45m I was told it would be a further 10 minutes. When I said 2 h delivery was unacceptable the chap said “yes” laughing and he then hung up the phone. I wonder if we were tested so badly as we used the just eat discount for NHS staff??? Rude, cold food, oily Yaki udon, got the order wrong with veg yaki soba rather than ordered chicken. It spoiled my11yo birthday treat whilst in lockdown. Awful service.

Food was really good but very disappointed with the lack of communication on how late it would be. Once I made the order I had to wait for just over an hour for delivery, but even after an hour the food still had not arrived. I wouldn't have minded waiting longer as I love good Japanese food however I could not get a hold of the restaurant. It was either constant busy tone or said can't be reached. I requested a text first and got no response back. Communication goes a long way and is good customer service, sadly lacking at this particular restaurant so I won't order from here again. My order was only around 20 mins or so late but it was a stressful experience as I didn't know if the food was actually coming or not and a 65+ mins wait was already a long time to wait.

Gorgeous sushi. Delicious and tasty. We tend to order every one or two week and we'll keep doing it. Special mention to Hussain who got it delivered even earlier. Bravo!

Food was suppose.to be delivered at 9:10pm never got it till 10:15pm. I call several times the restaurant phone was busy or just kept ringing. When I did get through the representative was rude and disrespectful. He said they were very busy and can't tell me.when it will be sent. They should not take on so many orders if they cannot deliver them.

Restaurant were 45 min late with delivery, would not have minded if they updated us but app said it was already delivered and took 15 min to get through on the phone. Drink was missing too.

Sushi was great but very disappointed in the Vegetable Udon Ramen for 9.49 I expected vegetables in it, but nothing more than a shred of cabbage.

We had placed an order for Sushi World at 19:25 expecting the food at 20:25 an hour later. We didn't have our food until 21:10. when I spoke with the restaurant they were super busy with lots of orders due to COVID-19 and couldn't meet their delivery times, I am totally ok with that and I want to support my local restaurant during this difficult time for us all (it's not in our interest for them to go out of business!!). I would however feedback that the restaurant should have been proactive in contacting customers to let us know if they can't meet delivery times and give us the option of cancelling, which was disappointing that they didn't do this. I want to be clear that our food was tasty and all items were delivered as order, the gyoza we especially tasty. So don't be put off, just order early and or ask them about the realistic delivery time.

Unfortunately the food we ordered was greasy and the ramen soup had a very odd colour, ended up throwing most of it away.

Really poor yaki soba noodle dish, it was not fresh and very slimey. Much like a cheap microwave meal. Really dissapointing, it was not cooked from scratch or out of a wok. Had to get rid of my dinner sadly!

Hour late. Told us they would give complementary drink but didn’t.

I put in the comments that I didn’t want the curry sauce with the rice and when i had the delivery the sauce was with the rice so I couldn’t eat it. I also ordered soya sauce and they put mayonnaise. Feeling very disappointed.

We order often because the food is very good but the delivery at our place is always late and often we have to wait more than one hour compared to the first estimated delivery time.

We were meant to be flying to Japan for our honeymoon today so though some delicious Japanese food might soften the blow of being stuck in self-isolation. We were not disappointed - really yummy, we’ll definitely be ordering again. Thank you <3

I didn't really like the Red dragon Roll. Previously when I've had red dragon rolls in my life they were without sauce and onion seasoning and I loved them. The quality of the food was good, but the sauce and onion crisps ruined the dish for me as I found the flavors too overwhelming. I'd prefer they added the onion crisp and sauce and an extra rather than a given. The duck donburi was good, seared salmon was delicious as always, and the crunchy salmon skin uramaki was very nice except for a few scales which is difficult to avoid when dealing with salmon skin, but it didn't cause much of an issue as i found it tasty.

Great fresh food as always. A bit sad they took off the discount offer which meant i could afford to order more to feed my friend. :( Beef teriyaki was tender and delicious, salmon sashimi was fresh and delicious, lots of ginger which we always enjoy, delicious prawn tempura futomaki- however i wish they'd do an option without cucumbers (i'm not the biggest fan of cucumbers). Salmon and avacado uramaki was delicious too!

Really did not enjoy the hot food. Chicken & beef ramen was awful, tasted very old and lacked any flavor. The vegetable spring rolls also had an odd flavor. Will not be ordering from here again.

My favourite Sushi restaurant by far! Tried the X-factor rolls today and was very pleasantly surprised. The crispy duck rolls are gorgeous!

Great food, and nice delivery driver.

The food was already 30 minutes late (luckily no hot food) and the delivery person called but was very difficult to understand. This exacerbated the frustration as I was catching up with a friend and didn't want to be on the phone for 10 minutes giving directions, particularly as our flat is easy to find.

In ordered the salmon sushi and the salmon teriyaki bento box - both were delicious and really high quality. The delivery was on time and the delivery man Mustafa was incredibly friendly. Will be ordering again.

Stir fry and donburi are nice and tasty main meals, not greasy with lots of vegetables. Sushi is also done well- with the chef's specials being my favourite. Staff are friendly. Will definitely be ordering again.

Great sushi and tasty gyozas. Vegan miso soup was very nice. Delivered quickly and not a bad price for London sushi. The salmon sashimi was a really generous serving in the combo platter, very thick. Gave us plenty of ginger/wasabi/soy which often you don’t get enough of on sushi takeaway. Friendly delivery driver and quick delivery

The food was really good. It was slightly late. However the driver Mustapha was very polite and apologised.

Food quality is good but almost every time we've ordered they've done something irritating - usually give me something else instead of the handrolls I always order. They always promise me a credit and I have NEVER had it and no one seems to know about it. Last night's food was accurate but took about 1 hr 40mins! Also I asked to not bring chopsticks and the clearly don't listen and pack at least 3 with every order. We have about 20 pairs of chopsticks now.

Food is always late, won't be ordering from here again. Real disappointed as I actually enjoyed their food, but the waiting time is always off.

Positives. Very friendly and professional driver, Mustafa. Sashimi very fresh, lots of ginger, and then normal wasabi packet and soy sauce packet. Miso soup good amount of tofu pieces and g, Negatives. Seafood tempura has fairly thick batter on it, and somewhat soggy and moist, probably would be much better in restaurant rather than delivery. Mixed Sashimi salad with avocados, although I liked the sashimi with nice thick pieces, just two very small thin slices of avocado and then leaf lettuce, the avocado was fresh but would have liked more to pair with the sashimi. Will probably try the restaurant again as maybe a Saturday night is not the best time to trial them.
