Sushi Point - Kingston in Kingston upon Thames

The bowl was soooo good! And the chef were very nice. They even offered me a free kombucha which made my day. I will be back forsure!

Good food, been order and been happy

Go there every week from a 30 minute drive. Unbelievable place, amazing sushi, and warm staff. The head sushi chef named Biswa is excellent. Makes it very fresh, and very warm man.

My wife and I saw this new place today, and what pleasant surprise. Good sushi, at a good price and the team was very friendly. Surely a good option to visit regularly. I posted above 2 years ago, and the place has gotten even better... love the spicy tuna poke and the dragon roll this place became our regular Friday joint.

tl;dr: Tasty food and friendly staff, recommend take away over eating in Food: very good! Great taste for a reasonable price, no complaints. Prawn tempura: The entire roll is fried in tempura batter, it’s rather a lot to eat so I wouldn’t recommend ordering anything else for those with small stomachs Eel Nigiri: basically dessert, absolutely delicious and I’d have this for every meal if I could Miso Soup: not the best miso I’ve had but still very good! They give you a lot too, a very generous cup of soup Service: absolutely incredible, the kind fellow working the till was pure sunshine and accommodated my every ask with a smile! I wish I had gotten his name but you know who you are! Atmosphere: Lovely little shop though a little shabby on close inspection. Stools are unfortunately a little too tall for the tables and rather uncomfortable to sit on, left my legs somewhat numb. Definitely recommend taking away rather than eating in, especially since they don’t actually have any indoor dishes and simply serve you with takeaway fare.

Had a great time with Biswa, very professional and friendly, the food was outstanding , tasty and well arranged! the restaurant was very clean , definitely coming back for more 🙏🏻

I recently visited Sushi Point Kingston and it was great. Everything made was incredibly fresh, and they have a great variety. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was attentive. Their sushi creations were not only delicious but beautifully presented. The chicken katsu noodles were delicious and a good portion. Just to add, it is a very clean and hygienic place. Highly recommend it, definitely is my go to spot for Japanese food in Kingston Upon Thames!

Decent sushi for when you can’t afford to go to Obon nearby.

Delivered to me for dinner and it was quick so it was alright, but maybe it was how quick the delivery was that the sushi did not taste like anything all. I ordered the sushi point roll and soft shell crab tempura and honestly, for £20+ that is not worth it at all. It tasted so sticky and warm that was it. The chicken katsu curry was the only meal that I enjoyed. It tasted average and tasted like any other chicken katsu curry. All I can say is that this was a waste of money. Won't order from here again.

Absolutely disgusting. Rude staff. Poor customer service. It actually is shocking. I’ve been ordering from this place since it opened. Never have I ever received such a horrible service. They kept passing the phone around because nobody knew how to deal with a request. Then decided to cancel due to it and they said okay they can keep the order but I’d still be charged. I’m shock. Always enjoyed ordering until now.

It is a very nice place with nice employees and food. The atmosphere is very calm and modern and I would recommend it to everyone, suitable for all ages.

Went to pick up a too good to go bag here and was very pleased. The generous worker was lovely and the food we got was delicious. Will definitely be buying again

Collected a too-good-to-go bag from here, the man behind the desk was very approachable and friendly to us! He was very generous even though we distrusted him trying to close down the restaurant. Was also very clean and tidy. Highly recommend a visit.

Superb quality of food and very good value for money

Inedible. Absolutely disgusting. Avocado was literally rotten. Tuna maki didn't contain proper tuna, it was this foul mushy mince stuff. I have never seen anything like it in sushi before.

First time ordered from here. For nearly £30 the sushi bites were so tiny and were falling apart, had to eat with bare hand to keep together and dip in the soya sauce. The filling was also a tiny amount inside. Because of that we cannot taste the salmon or the tuna. For this portion size it was overpriced.

Bad takeaway order. Beef was like leather, definitely old. Stomach feels properly unsettled after the meal. Rarely feel like this from any takeaway in the area. Even kebab shops I’m fine with normally. Obviously they are using old ingredients. Nothing short of annoying going to bed on a Sunday with an unsettled stomach. Treat your customers with way more respect!

the food didn’t take long to deliver which was great !! but the structural integrity of the sushi wasn’t the best as they kept crumbling super easily. and they put way too much tobikko which ruined the dragon rolls but the taste overall was nice

The sign of a good place is when something goes wrong and they put it right. Tonight Uber eats messed up and didn’t deliver our order. Sushi point went above and beyond to make things right at their own expense and had another order prepared and delivered immediately with their own driver. they even sent the most delicious cheesecake mochi as an apology (and it wasn’t their fault!) We order from them every week and the sushi is excellent and great value. We’ll continue to be regulars but not sure we’ll be using Uber eats again! Thanks guys 😁

Popped in for a takeaway lunch. Plenty of choice, went for the spicy tuna roll. It was really good and tasted fresh even a few hours later. Would definitely return!

salmon sushi (raw) came smelling very foul, had to chuck away most of the food.

Not even worth 1 star when they do not state what is in or contaminated food which leads to a severe allergic reaction!!! If you have allergies stay clear of this place or risk death for extremely poor service. People come to eat not risk death for you not stating what is in your food on putting it in menus or just not preparing food properly

Ive just discovered this place and it's the best sushi in Kingston.

The food 🍱 is amazing 😻 the service is brilliant and the atmosphere is lovely. I love sitting by the window it is a lovely view to have your food.

Their Spicy Rainbow Rolls are my favourites. They are by far THE BEST sushi takeaway joint I've been to and I have returned to them over and over again for their high quality rolls, bigger and meatier (fishier) than the ones you see in other places, always with generous amount of crab roe, salmon filling and layering. For the same amount of $$ you get a roll that's 20% bigger.

Great for a quick bite when in the area. Food was fresh and satisfied the sushi cravings. I had the spicy tuna roll.

Possibly the worst sushi I tasted. Sushi falling apart, rice mushy and sour, and you get the thinnest sliver of fish possible.

Google says they open at 11 o'clock Today at 11:05 I went and they had unlocked the door, it said it was open and after I walked in the guy looked at me with grumpy face and said , they didn't open and showed me the door. I didn't want to get into an argument , why google says one and they unlocked the door because it was too early for stupid arguments.

The portion sizes are a little hit and miss. Have ordered from here several times. With this evening's salmon teriyaki + extra salmon there is a single piece cut in two (i.e. a piece missing), which has happened 2 of the the 5 times have tried. I would not order again without picking it up in store as what I am paying for seems to differ widely on each occasion.

Sushi is ok but The noodle is nothing to do with Ramen at all.

I opted for the tofu katsu,it was fresh and tasty. Delicious!The staff are really helpful and friendly.
