I’m incredibly disappointed. This used to be our favourite spot for fresh sushi, but it’s gone completely downhill. Lately, every time we give it another chance, the quality worsens. It’s honestly become revolting—they’re using fish scraps in the rolls, especially the ones covered with toppings like dried onion or seaweed, so you can’t see what’s inside. Some of the salmon is impossible to chew, and we’ve ended up throwing most of it away. I hope this review is taken seriously, as others I know have also stopped buying here for the same reason.

I really liked the sushi, but soya sauce was very strong. I would still definitely come back.

Wonderful experiencing trying out a new honey oat latte. Not too strong flavour , rather pleasant. Had cream bun as a take away. Thalia was a lovely staff member who recommended honey oat latte ☺️ truly made my morning.

At first, my life was adrift — a bleak, flavourless stretch of existence, punctuated only by soggy chips and disappointments. But then I found Lotus Fish Bar. From the moment I stepped inside, everything changed. The golden crunch of their freshly battered cod, the perfect fluffiness of the chips, the aroma of salt and vinegar hanging lovingly in the air — it was like being welcomed home after a lifetime away. There’s something transcendent about the way they fry here. The batter sings. The chips don’t just satisfy, they comfort. Even the mushy peas feel like they’ve been made with quiet reverence. The staff are warm, quick, and somehow remember your order after one visit — like old friends you never knew you had. But what really made my visit special was the service. The owner’s son, Justin, was helping out, and he was just so friendly and kind. He took a moment to chat with me and made sure everything was just right — the food was hot, the order was spot on, and he even offered to name a menu item after me as a joke. It’s not often you see someone so young be so thoughtful and polite. Justin made me feel welcome, and more than a simple customer. Lotus Fish Bar didn’t just serve me dinner. It served me hope, wrapped in paper and handed over the counter with a smile. Five stars. Always.

Wonderful food, all needs catered for, asked for well cooked naan, as I love burnt bits and it was fluffy and burnt bits. Dhansaks amazing flavour too
