Had some lovely Filipino food here. Pansit is always worth getting.

Just stopped overnight in Yeovil and found Susan’s Oriental Kitchen for dinner. The Filipino food was fantastic and the staff were really friendly. Pity that the town was empty and as a result the restaurant was quiet. However, we will definitely make a return visit next time we are in town. Would recommend that people give it a try.

The restaurant is clean and comfortable, with Philippines songs played, and the walls are hand-painted with the Bundok Apo volcano. It was my first time tasting Philippine food. A group of 10 of us ordered 10 dishes, the dishes were delicious and flavor, adults and children kept shouting for good taste, and even my daughter, who had a super fine appetite, also kept adding food. Crispy Pata, fried chicken , roast pork, are very crispy and juicy; fried rice is also delicious; the beef stew is tender and very good for with rice. Another surprise was that the toilet was clean. The price is good bargain. It is worth recommending.

Had lovely food there 😋 😍 today and liked the dumplings pork and shrimp 🍤 😋.

1st visit following a reccomendation. The food was good. Ordered a hot & spicy dish & waitress checked that we were aware. Food was steaming hot and portions were a good size. We had 3 different rices - steamed, garlic & vegetable all great. Only 1 person managed a dessert & that was enjoyed. It was excellent and look forward to returning to try more from the menu.

What a gem of a find, we were in Yeovil for the night and came across this restaurant, never had Filipino food before, totally amazing, fresh & full of delicious flavours, the food and service was great, would highly recommend

what a delightful birthday treat at this hidden gem of a filipino restaurant! from the moment we stepped in, we were enveloped in the warmth of filipino hospitality. the soft lighting and cheerful chatter created such a cosy atmosphere, it felt like being welcomed into a family home. the real magic happened when we chatted with our lovely server about my birthday. to our surprise and delight, they offered to prepare two special dishes not on the menu - dinuguan and pork sinigang. these off-menu treasures truly made the evening unforgettable. the dinuguan was rich and savoury, a comforting bowl that felt like a warm hug. and oh, the pork sinigang! its perfect balance of sour and savoury flavours danced on our taste buds. it was clear that every dish was crafted with love and generations of culinary wisdom. we left with full bellies and even fuller hearts. this restaurant doesn't just serve food; it serves up a slice of filipino culture and hospitality. what a perfect way to celebrate my birthday - surrounded by the aromas, flavours, and warmth of my mother's birthplace. we'll be back soon, craving not just the food, but the wonderful, homey experience.

Went with a friend on a Friday night. It was tough choosing which appetisers to go for as they all sounded so good. The pork belly was mouth-watering, and the calamari was delicious. The fried chicken was some of the best I've had, better than Jollibee. We went for the spicy option, and it was hot. My main was the Bistek Tagalog, and that was great as well. My friend had lechon kawali, and he loved it. Finished with a halo-halo, my first ever one, and it was a delight. We had great service, and all the team were friendly. I look forward to going again and trying more things.

Susan and the staff are so lovely, and talked us through the menu. Food tastes incredibly delicious. Large portions, affordable prices. This restaurant is a hidden treasure of Yeovil! We will be repeat customers at this great restaurant for a very long time

My partner and I came in this evening to try out the food as we have heard good things. The staff were so lovely and welcoming. We ordered our food and it was hands down the best food I've eaten in yeovil in a long time. Very much worth a visit. We will be definitely be returning.

Really disappointed, after reading reviews we expected more. Neither me or my husband are fussy eaters and yet we couldn't eat what was put in front of us, there was to much fat on the pork as there was more fat than pork. Also the prawns were over cooked. We did not enjoy our meal at all. The staff were plesent but I would not go back.

We were in the area for the Easter weekend and looking for a meal for our last night and wanted to try something different. We were advised the best dishes to try and talked through the menu which was great. All the food was delicious (when the meals are listed as spicy they aren't kidding haha!) and the portions were huge. A shame we aren't local because we'd definitely be back again to try more dishes!

It was a bank holiday and went for lunch, lovely greeting from staff from the get go. two of us had the beef pares and the other crispy chicken. the beef was melt in the mouth with a lovely sauce, it was gorgeous! it came with a large portion of garlic rice too :) the portion of crispy chicken was large as well, again with large garlic rice. I tried the chicken and it too was lovely. Susan and Lette were great hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed talking with them. great value for the food, and I'm sure the karaoke nights would be a great night. they even sent me away with a bottle of beer, how nice, and would definitely go back again..

I have been going back to Susans for the last 6 months with my family and I can say that this is by far my favourite place to eat. Amazing , attentive service, excellent food cooked to order and overall a lovely experience. I tend to keep to a few choices but Susan is always on hand to suggest alternatives. The whole experience makes you feel like you are part of an extended family and I can only recommend.

Best Lomi and Fried Chicken! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My daughter is in a motorised wheelchair and they were not quite accessible for that - although fine for a manual chair. BUT they really tried hard to find a way to construct a ramp for us - and did it! They also have an accessible toilet, which is very unusual, so I highly recommend it for access. (They said they would get a ramp) They were very nice folks! Now on to the food - it was excellent! Some unusual dishes - so we tried some new things and we really pleased! Fresh. beautifully seasoned. well prepared. The beef dish just melted in your mouth. Too bad they cannot deliver to Blandford! This place will be my birthday restaurant next year. I enjoyed the food so much that I forgot to take a photo!

We were really impressed with the food here. All freshly cooked, great quality and delicious. The fried chicken is amazing- so crisp and crunchy! The prices were very reasonable, and good portion sizes so very good value for money. A great family-run restaurant, we’ll definitely come back next time we’re in town.

One of the best things about Susan's: Oriental cuisine was the wide selection of asian/chinese food. *Food is prepared with precision and attention. *Large portion of serving and great value of money. For all events: They take reservations for tables and ask for the menu ahead of time. (Also, please review the cancellation policy to prevent hustle for everyone involved). For extra entertainment: Prosingers and non-singers alike can enjoy Videoke. Parking: There are few street parking available in front. (We arrived at 7pm and it was free parking during that time) Can't recommend enough. The food is so authentic, so flavourful and delicious. The service was very attentive, Susan was very lovely. The food portion is great to grab a few dishes also and share with each other too for a good price. I loved the Halo halo and chicken adobo! Will be back to eat soon :)

This was my most recent of several visits to Susan’s. As usual, I left full and satisfied. The food is plentiful, reasonably priced and most of all the most flavorful in Yeovil. In addition to her fantastic food, Susan is a wonderful and friendly host. I highly recommend you give her menu a try. BYOB and let her take care of the rest.

We’ve been to different Filipino Restaurants here in London but Susan’s Oriental Kitchen I could say is the best Filipino Restaurant I been to so far. Me and my husband had a great time eating delicious food at your restaurant the food definitely lived up to my expectations. The prices are very affordable and the quality is relatively high, so I would strongly recommend it if ever you are in the area.

Unscheduled visit with Filipino friends to this authentic restaurant in the centre of town. Having been to to the Philippines a few times I can honestly say this far exceeded expectations and better than much of what I've had in Luzon. Exceptional crispy pata and well spiced Bicol Express. My friends were equally impressed by the quality and standard of food available. Will appeal to most tastes who like Asian food and all at a very reasonable price. Well worthy of a return visit.

I’ve been to Susan’s a couple of times now and have always had a great experience. I consider Filipino food to be comfort food, and that was definitely the case here - tasty and hearty. The menu is massive so there’s something for everyone. There’s also a few meals and desserts pre-made and packaged if you want to just grab and go. Highly recommended.

Friendly service and attempted to accommodate my request for a non meat dish that included prawns. Pho style noodle soup served. Unfortunately the shells all left on prawns and not de veined ‘ and the chilli slice was not fresh. Prawn crackers served whilst I waited which were stale. Wasn’t asked I wanted a drink, Sadly would not recommend.

Very good food and friendly service! I had never tried Filipino food before but it was very enjoyable. Also it seems popular amongst local Filipinos which is a good sign that it's authentic. The atmosphere was a good laugh too as there was karaoke and a group of ladies were celebrating a birthday party with it.

My husband took me out for Sunday brunch here today on our way between Bristol and Southampton. It was very cute, the staff and service was super, and the food was plentiful and absolutely delicious. We’ll be back.

Very disappointed, not good food , small portion of food ,poor presentation. Over priced. Too noisy. Never comeback again . But the service was so good very friendly and the restaurant is clean. The litchon kawali too dry and like stones , the milkfish is the same and too tiny. The BBQ pork was horrible. We drive from Devon to Yeovil to try the Filipino food we’re very Disappointed.

We found this little gem of a place by accident while driving by. We love asian cuisine and were happy to give it a try. Safe to say we'll absolutely be regulars! The restaurant serves Philippine specialities in a warm, home like environment. The service is really friendly and attentive, you feel like you're really welcome. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos - we were hungry - but the dishes were delicious and thoughtfully presented. The soup I tried was one of the tastiest I ever had and the home made sauces were a big hit with my husband. There are a lot of things on the menu we want to try and from our first experience I'm sure they won't disappoint. They even serve traditional Philippine breakfast! If you like asian food don't miss this restaurant, just go and thank me later :)

Delicious, home-cooked Filipino food. Friendly, courteous staff. Clean restaurant. Amazing karaoke! Great prices. I loved dining here and trying new dishes! The only downfall is no on site parking, but there’s lots of council parking nearby (free after 6pm).

Finally got around to trying this new restaurant for the first time and I’m so glad I did. The service was super friendly, genuine and kind, as well as attentive. The food was amazing and it is sooo fresh. Easily the best Asian food I have had in Somerset and I will definitely be coming back myself and bringing friends and family. It was such a pleasure to eat here ☺️ I also had the fried chicken but it’s not in the picture as it looked so good that I could not wait to eat it 😭 and it was the greatest.

Super friendly. To be honest it was like being back in the Philippines 🇵🇭 Huge portions and great value. Really a home from home. We got some crackers, soup and oranges 🍊 all for free as a great thankyou. You really need to sample the menu. Make sure to have a Halo Halo, you'll be pleased especially during the summer months. We took a load of food home too.

WOW!!! What a fantastic meal, the quality of food is everything we have been looking for in Yeovil & elsewhere…such a warm welcome and great service. Prawns are big, tasty, meaty and full of flavour, chicken noodle soup with vegetables, clean & healthy, spring rolls (chicken & pork) yes we over ordered!! Yummy south east Asian food served in a home-like restaurant. The environment is tidy and cosy. Staff are friendly and all dishes are cooked with heart. I particularly like their siumai and fried rice.

First time in here. Only had the main, good Food service, come and see for yourself. Good value, they will help explain anything on the menu if your are not sure.
