Gross. I had chilli beef and it was so overcooked and very little sauce. So hit n miss here and its often missing. I hadnt gone since they ruined a new-year eves by not turning up but my hubby likes a dish only they do but it was rank this time so we can say bye bye now

Poor service, rude and arrogant. I ordered a Cantonese duck and meal for one person. When I opened the Cantonese duck dish it was mainly beansprouts. I rang to check if they got my order wrong and was told that it is the Cantonese duck. The woman was arrogant, rude and unapologetic. There was no attempt for a customer service at all. Their attitude is was pretty much "tough" that is what you get. This place should be reported for misrepresentation. Stay away from this takeaway to avoid disappointment.

Ordered a meal for 7 family members last night ... had to request no onions in some dishes and had to order for 2 vegan members. It was delivered promptly... very hot...they brought a credit card machine.....had free prawn crackers and the order was all correct .....lovely birthday meal had by all. Yes the prices had increased but that is the case everywhere

I just can’t explain how disappointed I am with the food the wife and I ordered on 01/11/22. The wife is ill and so I thought I would try and cheer her up after seeing pancake rolls on bake off. I ordered pancake rolls of both vegetable and meat varieties, along with some crispy squid. We eagerly awaited our treat to be delivered. It was delivered promptly, but what I unpacked only led to what I can describe as shock, horror and utter astonishment. No veg in the veggie rolls, the meat pancake rolls tasted of chemicals and the squid apart from also having a chemical tang looked like something out of a bin….which had been left out in the rain for a week. Needless to say we were left hungry, the wife remains unwell and almost every piece of the entire takeaway now resides in an actual bin. Never again will I order food from this takeaway as my stomach wouldn’t stand it and I couldn’t cope with the wife’s sad face again. So very disappointed and a total waste of my hard earned £20. Shame on you Susan.

This used to be a really good take away but its gone downhill. He rang to pre order and asked to collect at a certain time to which they agreed. Went to collect the food! Prices have gone up massively, the food is cold and we had to fight for their ‘free’ prawn crackers which they weren’t going to give us! Much better takeaways around Charminster now! Don’t even bother going here!!

After being let down by Susan’s on New Year (Chinese didn’t turn up!) we thought we would give it another go yesterday. Ordered and told 1 hour delivery after an hour phoned them and now another 20 mins!?!? So arrived 1.30 hour after ordering, spoke to delivery guy and he said he wouldn’t use them either!!! Food ok definitely doesn’t seem as good quality as it used to which is a shame as have been ordering from them for years, just don’t get why they can’t be honest and say we are so busy so expect a long wait, don’t promise an hour if you can’t deliver in that time!!!

This place needs to sort out the way we pay , it’s a hassle to go out and get some money from the cash machine to pay , food ok not bad but its the way we pay , it was a hassle !!!

We have used "Susan's" for years, unfortunately our experience on New Years Eve, means like other reviews, we will not use them again. We ordered food at 6pm, after several calls and promises made, our food eventually arrived after 11 o'clock. It wasn't great and the quality was below what we would normally expect from them. There was no apology and having contacted them on several occasions they have failed to reply. A disappointing end to a rubbish year!

They didn't turn up. They said it was going to be 2.5 hours after 4 I called and was told I would be a priority and it never turned up!! I was so cross I called the next day and complained to very little concern, a tired apology and a few lies. The food is great but the service sucks.

Ordered food at 6:40 was told 3 hour wait, called at gone 10 was told another 30 mins but she would rush it through, tried to call for 20 mins at 10:50 only for when I finally got through to be hung up on! Food never turnt up! Thank you for the most fitting end to 2020, will never be using you again find this disgusting. Could habe at least told us when we called you were not going to be able to fulfil the order instead of runining someones new years

Ordered Chinese at 555pm told two hours wait. That was fine. By 915 after them not answering the phone went to the premises and waited whilst they cooked my order. Another 20 min wait. I was joined by many others in the same boat. Then got home one item missing and vegetarian duck not real duck. A perfect end to a perfect year. The poor girl behind the counter deserves a medal for the way she was left with no support . We have used Susan’s many times but they really lost the plot tonight. Will never rely on them again .

Absolute pile of crap, we placed an order at 17.55 in the shop as they had turned off the phone saying they were only accepting order’s in the shop for delivery. On placing the order we were told 2hrs so making it 8pm !! Not bad we thought as it is New Year’s Eve, so at 20.45 we phoned asking where our food is, “funny the phones now work” Only to be told after a lot of talking in the background it would be another 40 mins !! To which I told them to stick it. Won’t ever get another takeaway from here.

Hadn’t been to this place for quite a long time as previously not good.however, we have tried this place a couple of times recently and have to say what a change. Food hot and not covered in a load of grease and tasty. Will definitely been going again.

It was very nice would recommend food was very tasty and at a good standard ...much enjoyed the chicken curry .

Our prefered local chinese takeaway Good quality chinese food, always fresh and hot. Not the cheapest but worth the little extra and portions are decent
