This was a gem in Walsall. Jay is warm, friendly and the staff all provided great customer service. My mom who is 81 was really looked after. The food was delicous, very fresh & delicous Masala Dosa, crispy Bajia and all the rest, a great variery of vegetarian/vegan food. Jay's wife is the amazing cook cooking all the dishes. We all enjoyed the visit & miss the place.

My partner and her daughter are both vegan so we tend to ear Indian food quite often when eating out. What we particularly like about Surti is that we get dishes there that we don't see elsewhere. The food is excellent and is also good value. I have eaten there several times and would recommend it to others.

As we are from surat ( india ), we know the taste of surti food. If you like to have the surti food, this is the place you wanna to visit. The food is absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. The atmosphere is pleasant. The cutomer service is really very good. thank you. From Jyolin.

First trip to this pure vegetarian restaurant. It will not be the last. We went for Saturday lunch. What an awesome experience. The food was delicious,the welcome warm and the service great. Would we recommend? Yes Would we return? Oh yes many times to explore the whole menu.

We visited this place last week with friends. The food was excellent. Starters wee very tasty and the Thalis were all prepared fresh. Portion sizes were generous.The owner was very courteous and friendly and overall a great experience. Would strongly recommend to anyone looking for nice vegetarian/Gujarati food.

We hired the restaurant for the afternoon, Dakshaben and Jayeshbhai were absolutely incredible right from the start. We had a meeting to organise the day, had already tasted and LOVED the food. The staff were very attentive, on hand to help us decorate and make it a very special occasion. We had lots of compliments about the fantastic food and service. Thank you Dakshaben and Jayeshbhai for making our day very special! I would not hesitate to recommend Sutri for catering, a party venue or just a lovely meal out!

The chef is very talented...real indian food just as my mum used to make at home! Keep it up! Will definitely be back again soon.

We were recommended to the Surti by an Indian friend who really knows her food. She was spot on. We were so impressed that we went back the next week with a bunch of friends who all had different meals and each one was incredible. The place has a great feeling about it, helped to a large extent by the excellence of the service - the young lady who looked after us couldn't have done a better job - or have been more friendly and helpful - 10/10 would be only fair score for her or the food. The owner took the time to chat to us all also which really helped to reinforce the welcoming atmosphere. Everything was freshly cooked and fabulous. I love Southern Indian cooking and the food at the Surti is up there with the very best - and much more expensive restaurants. Such a welcome change to the usual run-of-the-mill Indian restaurants. Well worth the drive...thanks.

Visited on a Wednesday night and had the buffet. Excellent food and excellent value for money. Great to have some excellent veggie food. Very lovely attentive staff.

Excellent traditional Gujarati vegetarian food served with a smile.Jayesh,the owner,personally looks after all clients to ensure they ,presentedhave a superb dining experience.The portions are somewhat on the small side but the food is well prepared,tasty and nicely presented.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The service and the food was excellent, with very generous portions. We will definitely visit again.

If you want a proper home cooked style Indian Vegetarian meal then this is your place. Try the Dosa ...the best in town!

We visited today as a large group. We opted for the buffet which had everything that we would have eaten if ordering from the menu. Delicious Gujarati food with a variety of flavours. I would highly recommend to anyone who would like to have a real taste of India.

From the outside looks OK but much nicer inside with very attentive staff and food that was really good. The gol gappeh were top notch as was the chaat. First visit but definitely will be here soon and regular if they can deliver this service and food!

This is the best and most authentic indian I know. Try it, love it! Simple. If you like vegi food then this is a must. We ordered for 10 people as a take away and ate to out hearts content. Great taste and great portions. Well done Surti!

small place but very nice deco,

Recently visited this restaurant with family. The food, service and atmosphere were brilliant. We tried several dishes -dosa, manchurian,bhel all of which were really fresh and of high quality. Highly recommend.

A great time was had by all at this specialist vegetarian restaurant. Unlike other Indian restaurants I have tried in the past the variety and quality was exceptional and I would definitely recommend

Unlike most common Indian restaurants, Surti offers a South Indian cuisine and is also exclusively vegetarian.

As we walked in we were welcomed by the owner. His interaction was very nice he greeted the whole family and then got his waitress to seat us at our table. The ambience of the restaurant was very peaceful and relaxing. The menu had lots of vegetarian only choices. The owner was more than happy to explain the dishes and the ingredients. We ordered water but you are more than welcome to bring your own alcohol.

It’s great to find a South India restaurant in Walsall, especially one that is all vegetarian. The food is great – we particularly liked the dosas, which are hard to find in the West Midlands.

We booked a table for 8 people and were pleased when we were shown to our reserved table. However, we had been seated for at least 10 minutes and nobody had come to serve us or provide us with menus. The restaurant was understaffed and for this reason, the service was terribly slow and very poor. It was at this point we thought that if we hadn't even been seen at our table by the restaurant staff, how long would it be before we were eventually able to place our order and dine? We eventually decided to leave the restaurant, nobody asked us why we were leaving or whether there was a problem.
