Delicious authentic pizza. Fab! Great choice of beer. Limited knowledge of wines served. Tables by the windows both shown as reserved but later walk-ins got them.

Very good neapolitan, not far from authentic Italian experience.

The vibe was off but the pizzas were lovely. It was cold inside and with the door being wide open, it meant the smell of everyone going out smoking was coming inside plus the loud music from the bluetooth speaker by the window was just too much. It wasn't a nice experience for me.

I think there must be two chefs. I have been twice and once the pizza was superb, real Napoli style. Once pretty average. I am vegan and chose Marinara both times. Probably worth taking a chance if you like "real" pizza because it is hard to get locally.

The best tasting food we’ve had in a while. The Nduja burrata starter was next level. The atmosphere was so warm and the workers are lovely. I’m also picky with my wines and their only red wine is worth it alone. Will definitely come again and 100% recommend.

For me the best pizza in Coventry. Everything was absolutely perfect. Very friendly staff, mindblowing pizza and absolutely delicous desserts. I am sad that I only discovered this place today and wasted my time eating other pizzas.

First time visiting yesterday, the food was great. The staff were all very friendly. The place has a great atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.

What a dream! Just as good as what I've had in Italy! A lot of great reviews but I have to doubt the validity of some of them. Tried this last night and the pizza was miserable. Over-salted dough, literally a smattering of topping and undercooked cheese that was rubbery. No herbs in the sauce so it was as bland as it could be. Oh, tiny too. Try Red Hot Mama's in Leamington, it is authentic. This is not. I note the reply, thanks. Not used this place since, and we have no intention of doing so.

The pizza here is like a big warm hug. The arancini balls were delicious, and the nduja pizza was amazing. Can’t rave enough about the place. Will definitely be visiting them again and again.

We're regulars here now and it's because they make genuine Napolitano pizzas with beautiful chewy, tasty dough and high quality toppings PLUS a great selection of beer. Tom and the team are always super friendly and welcoming.

Not a lot of choice but we knew that going in, we love pizza that much we visit Italy twice a year and have visited so many around the Midlands. We usually make our own in the warmer months so we were looking to try a pizza that was local. I wished we hadn't. Pizza overall 2 out of 5 Tomato sauce was nice and base cooked well. Toppings average. Crust? Well really one of the worst I've had at a restaurant. Uneatable due to the amount of chewing needed to eat, the crust should of been light airy and easy to eat. Price expensive for what you get. 2 pizzas 1 draft beer 1 bottle of beer £43.

Authentic Italian pizza in Coventry. I wish I knew about the place sooner! Margherita is fantastic, brought me back to Napoli. Seems like the place is also run by Italians. They surely know what they’re doing. Will be back soon.

Just popped in for a quick lunch and it was amazing! The pizza is fantastic and the side/dips were all delicious. They have a great selection of food and drink so I definitely want to return to try more!

I would give this place a 6 star if possible. They were so welcoming and the food was just as good as the hospitality. The food was so good I lost my car keys and these guys even helped me find them. The posh colas are definitely worth a try. I was really impressed and if you like Italian you will not be disappointed. Wish this place all the best.

Decided to bring my family here to celebrate my birthday as it's my favourite pizzeria. The whole party of 10 thoroughly enjoyed both the food and drinks. The house red and a variety of craft beers all complimented the delicious pizza perfectly. The week special (harissa lamb) was to die for and I certainly hope it will make an appearance again! Staff were fantastic as usual.

Always great food and beer with a great space upstairs to enjoy a fantastic experience. The staff work really hard to ensure you are happy with everything. Whenever we take friends to Surf and Slice for the first time, they always comment that it's the best pizza they've ever had. We'll go back again and again. Thanks for a great night and more to come!

The best pizza in Coventry, hands down. They’ve got the classic margherita etc as well as some more unusual options - like the salsiccia piccante, pictured here, with a pumpkin base. The beer and wine menu is extensive and eclectic, and the staff give great recommendations. (I’m not a huge beer drinker but will happily make an exception here.) The service is excellent - friendly and attentive, without being overeager. We’ve been three times in the last couple of months and can’t wait to go back!

Lovely pizza. Tasty and crust was perfect. Good value too with a great range of beers. Service was really bad though I'm afraid. Slow and unfriendly. It's hard watching people who arrived after you being served twice before you've even been acknowledged!

Pizzas were absolutely amazing. I didn't love the aranchini, but it's not like they were bad. Friendly staff (gave us free canolli when we leaving), nice atmosphere (garden in the back is cute), and reasonable prices. I recommend this - probably the best pizza I've had in Coventry.

Being Italian I know a good pizza and this place is good!! My partner brought their pizza when he came back home after work...a client bought it for him . I tried it and I couldn't believe it! A proper pizza, cooked in the right oven ! I immediately wanted to book a table and I'll definitely go back there . The place isn't the fanciest but it's the proof that you choose a restaurant for the food! My only suggestion....the pizza needs more mozzarella and more toppings... that's why I'm not giving 5 stars ..

Simple restaurant but the pizza is super. Fluffy dough, cooked to perfection, plenty of flavours, no funny tastes or smells, so, good ingredients too. As an Italian, I can say, they can wear the "napoletana style" badge with honor.

Having lived in Italy, I can say this is one of the few places in Coventry where you can get good quality pizza. Great beer selection as well. My new favourite is the pizza con patate, a white pizza with cream, cheese, potato and roasted onions that blew my mind!

Order number 551492, 2x Margherita's. Tomato base tasted of a tomato purée paste and the pizza lacked enough cheese. The dough was good and up to usual standard. Overall very disappointing, not sure if this is a one off or standards have slipped. Edited.

I would genuinely say that this is the most authentic pizza in Coventry. All those big-name commercial pizza companies are junk but Surf and Slice offer the real thing.

My 9 year old granddaughter doesn't like much cheese on her pizza and they were so accommodating that she wants to take me back for a beer. The pizza was the first time that she has ever eaten more than one slice, she ate it all. She said that it was delicious. We will be back soon for a pizza and a beer.

Freshly made Neapolitan pizza from scratch using fresh ingredients. I've been a few times this summer and it's been the place to go for pizza in Coventry. The pizza is quite filling, the dough is soft, the ingredients are flavourful and is of a much better quality than Domino's or Pizza Hut. The staff are welcoming and are on hand to do what they can to maintain service. To my knowledge, the pizzas are cooked one at a time in their pizza oven, so I find it's better to go when it's quiet. During its busier times, unless I have company and entertainment to keep me, I don't find myself wanting to wait so long when I'm hungry.

My self and my partner have visited surf and slice on multiple occasions , the pizza is always great and the staff are lovely, they have great pizza and drink options. This is 100% the best place to get pizza . If your thinking of visiting make sure you do and try the hot honey!

My partner and I have eaten here on a couple of occasions. Cannot fault the food, served fresh and quickly. The surf and slice team are all friendly and welcoming, offering good customer service. We both highly recommend and would go again.

The best pizza in Coventry and the nicest and friendliest staff. I have been ordering pizza from them since they had the truck in Earlsdon and it's always been fantastic. Also, a great beer selection, including their own signature brew from Twisted Barrel. A must-try!

We saw on Facebook that the Surf and Slice van was stopping by the Rose and Crown pub in Wolston. So we made our way there from Coventry just to give their woodfire handmade pizza's a try. Did not dissapoint!

This place is amazing! Best pizza I've had in Cov hands down. Great for veggies and vegans would highly recommend!
