Best Chinese in Surbiton, I've never had any bad food from this take away. They don't do delivery and yet always busy, so that tells you people make the effort to go there. Food never greasy and they are willing to accommodate fussy eaters.

Used to come here occasionally as a child growing up in the 70s/80s. Moved back to Surbiton with my own family several years ago and was so happy to see they were still going strong. Have been coming here ever since. Dishes taste fantastic, quality is consistent, prices are very reasonable, preparation is fast and staff are friendly. Tried other Chinese takeaways in the area but none of them come close. A real jewel. Bravo, guys.

Probably the best Chinese takeaway that I know of in Surbiton / berrylands. Great range of food and always quick to produce. I love there meals for one. Which are very reasonablly priced

I had a set meal -- beef with vegetables, fried rice and 4 meat balls. The portion was big. The ingredients were balanced and of authentic Chinese varieties. The fried rice was a little too salty for me which was perhaps not their fault. I think that's meant to suit local taste buds. Beware of their card payment minimum of £8.

Best take away Chinese food for miles, been coming here for years. A good menu selection really tasty food always fresh with great portion size and good value. Highly recommended!

All ways been grait food I've been going for more than 10 years and all has been good ,but now adays the price is quite hi and unsatisfying . Im not happy to pay like 7 pounds per container At restaurant prices

Am done with this place. The food is no where near as good as it used to be. Was always handy to use especially if you had been in the pub opposite as it always rounded the night off nicely. Ordered the kung po chicken. Now anyone who knows their food knows that kung pao or kung po is supposed to be crispy around the edges (normally deep fried in corn starch first) but this is just cooked chicken in lots of sauce. I mentioned this a while ago and the girl just shrugged her shoulders. Thought I would order again and it hasn’t changed so obviously they don’t want to listen. My grilled dumplings were slimy (this used to be the best place for grilled dumplings). The special fried rice was dry. The squid in black bean was ok but the sauce was so thin it made water jealous (obviously the jarred black bean sauce was watered down as we’re running out) and the ribs were dry. It’s pretty obvious that they just use jarred sauces bought from the Chinese wholesalers. I use the Chinese wholesalers in Kingston and their sauces taste miraculously like their jarred sauces. In the past I mentioned to them about doing deliveries which the lady behind the counter just shrugs her shoulders at if she doesn’t understand (please don’t pretend you don’t understand me as I know your English is very good). Last night I went to order some food and thought I would check the menu on line first and their is no menu to check. I walked down their in the end to order and asked the guy behind the counter if there is any kind of menu online and he just coldly answered ‘no’ with as much charisma as dishwater. What I would say to this place is : 1: Actually offer a smile to customers and make them feel welcome especially to returning long term customers and new ones as well 2. Actually start serving food that is decent just like it used to be 3: stop acting like a characature from the 80’s Chinese takeaways where you pretend you don’t understand what is being said 4: actually be appreciative that you have customers coming to you. End of the day you seem to have forgotten this and act like we are doing you a favour by ordering from here. We all work hard for our money so a bit of appreciation that we are choosing your place to spend our money would be a nice touch. We can always go elsewhere (which I will do from now on) 5: get into the modern age. Get a website and do deliveries. So just to summarise, sort it out as the customers (who you just take for granted) simply won’t come back and you will not have a business (you know, that place which pays you the money so can have nice things in life). Oh and please don’t give the excuse that ‘you get busy sometimes’. I am paying the same price whether you are busy or quiet so the expectation is that the food quality and service should be the same whether you are busy or not

This is my favourite Chinese takeaway. It may be the best I have had. We order from here most weeks.

I always buy food from these guys when I think of having a Chinese takeaway. The salt and chilli squid and the crispy noodles are both top tier. You can't go wrong.

I've been using this Chinese take out for all the years I can remember. Fantastic choice of delicious dishes, always lots for your money, served pipping hot & fantastic everytime.

Not bad. Some dishes are good. Most are acceptable and the odd dish isn't good. Had better, had worse. Worth using if you're local and fancy a chine.

Standard Chinese takeaway, though there aren’t so many about these days. I go there because I like the food.

We have been using this takeaway for about 15 years but recently noticed that the qualuty of the Chinese food has noticeably dropped - our sweet and sour king orawns Hing Kong style were covered in wet pastry rather than having a firm coating and the beef with cashew nuts in iyster sauce were flavouless. New chef?

Absolutely amazing food as always, this place never fails, ordered again this evening on a Wednesday which included Thai red chicken curry & chicken balls, so good, great portions, hot food & friendly staff. Love it! 😃

Best place for your weekly chinese take-away. Don't be afraid to ask for extra chillies in your meal. Very nice friendly family owned business.

Most disgusting Chinese takeaway I've eaten. Chicken balls were RAW and the rest tasted either off or like burnt oil. Such a waste of money!

Usually a ten to fifteen minutes wait but on last visit there it was an hours waiting time due to being extra busy. Would highly recommend as a great place for Chinese and reasonably priced as well.

Food is below standard. Young female that serves has got no customer services what so ever always shouting down the phone she is rude when taking orders why her mother let her serves is beyond belief. In all the whole place has gone down hill

The only thing that could be improved is the lady behind the till, never a smile even if you try to engage her in friendly chat you still get met with the same cold front...
