Had a nice meal there and a nice glass of Sav.

Had a lovely meal here with my parents. We loved the seafood bisque, the sea bass, and the monkfish tail. The thick chips were also great. Careful presentation and kind and friendly wait staff. Thank you !

The chips were burnt. The waitress agreed. She spoke to the manger about it. No alternative or compensation was offered. We won't be back

First time here since the change of name and food focus. We sat outside and had an absolutely lovely time. All of the food we had was really very good. I'm continuously disappointed by restaurants when I am served something I could have made better at home but this was definitely not the case at Cafe Fish. I had the salmon which came with perfectly cooked and seasoned new potatoes, baby rainbow carrots and asparagus. The veg had a really nice subtle dressing that didn't over power the delicate flavours but added a nice zing. My fish was nicely seasoned and piping hot with soft fish and a delicious crispy skin. I was greedy and had some skinny fries on the side that were also really very nice. Rounded everything off with a rich dark chocolate pot that was complimented by a sweet acidic raspberry sorbet that elevated and complemented the richness of the chocolate. We will definitely be back!

Alright. Nothing spectacular; the food was cooked well, the service was sub-standard and the atmosphere was slightly lacking. Fine if you live round the corner, but I wouldn't seek it out

Use to be frequent visitors to this place formally Ollies.Since change over have only visited once. Returned to day as reopened for brunch. Firstly 4 stars to chef the food was lovely so complements to the chef. HOWEVER when we arrived the cafe was Empty the ""waitress"" said sit anywhere never asked how many there was - We seated ourselves near the window. A voice interrupted us and said "Water" YES PLEASE THAT WOULD BE NICE Again she the waitress with red hair and pigtails tales "COFFEE" So we gave our order WOW she was so rude She brought the coffee and slammed it down "Order"" We gave our order hesitantly After a bit of a wait we were given our food....no socially pleasantries . She left us till we finished our food.She cleared our plates and ""COFFEE"" I replied oh yes please she walked away returning later with coffee and our BILL we never asked for and to to go after our coffee!!!!!!!!@ The cafe was Empty still. On checking our bill she had over charged us over £14. Grudgingly she rectified it we payed and left. This waitress has a personality as cold as a stone¡¡!!!!!!!!! No social skills and wanted us out!!!!!! BEWARE OF THIS WAITRESS ....she's so rude cheeky abrupt Socially unable to communicate Won't be back.....would not recommend if she is serving you not sure how low she'd go if you crossed her!!!!!!°°° BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!°!°

Wss here with my friends 2 weeks go and everything was delicious "best fish and chips ever". The service was amazing!

Had breakfast food was decent,but service was dreadfull staff were rude and abrubt. Told us we had to leave in 15 minutes after asking if we wanted more coffee and then proceeded to present us with the bill without having asked for it litterally throwing us out. Then overcharged us by £14 wont be back.

I ordered the fish and chips, the actual fish was fresh. However, the batter had no seasoning, also the fish was very small. The chips were fat enough to be a full potato, hence were not appetising. The tartar sauce was not fresh. Overall very bland meal, I was very disappointed, with the battered.

Good food but some dishes are clearly much better than others. One of the chefs also had a very salty hand.

Super menu with lots of interesting choices of seafood to try. Made to feel very welcome and the quality of the food was great and good value for money. Very friendly staff, look forward to going back and trying some else soon

Had lunch in Cafe Fish on Sunday 2nd April, food was excellent, portion sizes were big, nice wine list and the cocktails looked good. Staff on duty were very friendly, helpful and busy without being rushed. Lovely atmosphere, will definitely be back soon

The food was delicious and delivered in good time, however no one came back to ask if everything was alright or if we wanted more drinks ( we did). This was despite the restaurant being very quiet, staff were too busy chatting in a corner.

Very very good meal at this long standing local. The salmon and special sea bass was delicious, and the staff extremely attentive. We decided to try it after many meals in the prior Ollie’s and we were very pleased.
