Working in Oldham for last few weeks, visited sunrise 6/7 times and had a different dish on every visit. Not one disappointment. Would thoroughly recommend this establishment

Even though we have moved out of Chadderton we still always use this takeaway to get a set meal for 3 (which feeds 4 easily, with leftovers, and is very reasonably priced at £30 odd). The food is well cooked and fresh. It's the best Chinese takeaway I have had. The only slight quibble is that it would be amazing if they could have a few gluten free options, the lady on the phone did not seem to understand the term 'gluten free' and so my coeliac brother in law had to make do with a gluten free egg fried rice and chicken from Mabel's Chippy Middleton via Ubereats, and the chicken was nice but the egg fried rice was flavourless, and it cost as much as our entire set meal for 3!

Always used to be our local Chinese takeaway,now we've gone back to sunrise,we only go in for one meal,that we share,but that's enough, make us want to go back...Great.

Nothing is fresh! Expensive! Chips aren't made in-house, they're thick cut cheap takeaway chips. Rice is reheated, not made fresh! Curry sauce is powder mix, ten a penny. Not fresh or 'homemade'. The food is also very expensive for what it is... Won't return!

Nice Chinese food nice closed on Mondays apart from bank Holidays

Food was Superb, we tried the Cripsy Duck & Pancakes & the House Special Chow Mein with Chilli Sauce. The Noodle dish in particular was very Tasty highly recommended.

We asked for salt on our plain portion of chips and they said they 'didn't have any'. Bad attitudes and stingy.

Delivered quickly. Food was okay, considering I could've eaten a scabby dog. Ordered special fried rice and ribs. Received 2 x chicken fried rice and sweet n sour (I think) chicken wings.

Got a takeaway and sadly they do not have tofu but their schezwan veggis with veg fried rice was very nice

The most sad and pathetic salt and pepper chips i have ever seen in my life, the chicken and sweetcorn soup I am certain was pigeon. The crispy chilli beef was dryer than an African river. Salt and pepper chicken was good, noodles were good, rice was colourless yet very food. Service was rude, who puts cold cans in a warm box of food

I've been going here for 15 years because the food has always been great and never had a bad experience,don't forget to order early or you could be waiting a long time but they will always answer the phone just might take 5 or 10 minutes.

Best Chinese takeaway in Chadderton.

We had a takeaway from here for the first time on Saturday. The food was amazing. The service was excellent and staff so friendly. Will certainly not be our last visit.

To be honest I have always enjoyed the food. However, the last couple of times it has been far too salty. I thought it was just a one off until this evening. It was so salty, it wasn't inedible. We had beef curry fried rice and a mixed chow main. On top of it being far too salty the chow main was actually burnt. Very disappointed and will not be returning.

Chow mein delicious, just lacking beansprouts. Kids love chicken fried rice. Use the place all the time, would recommend it.

Good food but service is slower than expected

OVEN CHIPS..... massive let down . Only went as go sin was shut but won’t be returning . It’s a shame as a lot of people like it here but to go to a Chinese and get oven chips is a massive no for me

For a chippy that don't do peas and charging £4 quid for rice,chips and curry I won't be coming again as that was disgusting and I will stick to ree ming in royton.

The curry sauce is sweet and sickly

Very poor service. Ordered Singapore vermicelli and asked for no pork and extra chicken indtead. Also asked for additional bamboo shoots. Got a vermicelli full of pork, maybe 2 or 3 pieces of chicken and NO prawns. Never had a Singapore vermicelli with no prawns and only 3 bits of bamboo. Won't be ordering from here again

I will never ever step foot back in this Chinese. The amount of money spend here should irrelevant. Numerous times ive ordered food they all know me and received food cold, undercooked or missing. They will never have my business again. I really hope the owners see this 1 star is to generous They should no longer be in business

Best Chinese take away on Oldham Pleasant and cheerful staff. Prompt service competative prices. We use the Sunrise regularly.

Great tasting food, for me the noodles are abit to thin.

Great chicken fried rice and salt & pepper chicken, shame about the chips - almost seemed like they were frozen and then cooked.

Friendly service they recommended dishes as we couldn't decide and wanted a change from the usual (which we always get from Sunrise) and it was amazing, very tasty and great portion sizes👍
