A great place to watch sports play darts and drink

On a recent trip to Fort William we chanced upon an absolute diamond of a bar. Great atmosphere created by the welcoming staff and friendly locals plus an absolutely wonderful jukebox. I/we (all four of us from West Yorkshire) would highly recommend this bar for a cracking night out. Price of beers very reasonable but staff (Maggie, Dawn plus a fella) made sure both our visits were memorable. Thank you to all concerned.

Visited in July with my friend and his dog en route to Harris. Brilliant service, brilliant bunch of regulars, fantastic welcome and ziggy the dog was treated brilliantly by all, can't wait to visit again ♥️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🍀

Extremely friendly staff, watched the England Spain Euro final here. Great atmosphere. Good prices. Highly recommend! Also great with the kids. Thank you!

We had a fun-filled evening with the nice locals. The landlord was very nice and patient with us. The beer was delicious, the rooms and toilets were clean. Slainté!

Been going to Fort William for the last few years.. Some reason we've never really been in this pub.. we were in twice on Saturday.. couldn't have asked for a warmer welcome.. friendly staff great pub decent prices too... We'll be back to Fort William in Feb/march of next year we will definitely be back in..

We were here on a night after the local shinty team won a big match which was also Fury v.Usyk fight. It was packed with rowdy locals. We had tons of fun.

The owner is a very rude man who deserves no patronage from tourists. I recommend you avoid this place

Very good atmosphere, affordable prices and warmth inside. Typical sports bar. You can play pools or drafts.

Brilliant dog friendly bar! My partner really wanted to catch the England football game while on our 4 day trip, and we came across Sonny's bar. Extremely dog friendly, the lady couldn't have been more welcoming, instantly got a water bowl for our 2 setters, and we were made to feel welcome, and dogs were allowed on the sofa with us. We haven't come across many places that allow them to be as comfy as us. Really reasonably priced drinks, close to car parking and the high street. Highly recommend for anyone passing through, with dogs.

Great night staff friendly and welcoming

Doesn't look much from the outside and hidden away on the street parallel with the high street where all the pubs and shops are. But inside, it's comfortable, spacious and has multiple screens to watch sport. Bar staff are friendly and the drinks are cheaper than most places in Fort William. Worth finding!

Ideal for sport in Ft William. Shame City breezed past Arsenal though. Friendly locals and decent Guinness 💯

On holiday from Leeds.every local customers made us extremely welcome. We'll done sunny.

We used this bar to celebrate the end of the west Highland way. It's a very nice independent bar. When a local heard what cause we were doing the walk for he donated on the spot. The perfect place to celebrate finishing the walk thank you

Great atmosphere and banter a proper sports bar

Well, the customers were so inviting, the staff… hm not so much, glad they don’t sell milk coz the face on the Claire barmaid would have turnt it sour, actually made feel uncomfortable l, even tried to spark up a convo… nothing!! Last night our £20 notes were accepted freely, today.. nope the notes are legal tender till sept, i know coz every other establishment accepted it no problem atal, up for a wee holiday but unfortunately wont be back if this is the service, apologies to the other staff as Ryan and Adelle were great last night am sure this door faced get is no reflection to the rest

Overall good experience in the bar. Staff were nice, polite and helpful. However we met Fort Williams answer to Ronnie Pickering, I think his name was Shaun. Talked absolute bull**** for approx 45 mins as told us stories about Sammys bar. Good laugh.

Cracking little boozer, clean and reasonably priced pints. The TVs are great for sport too!

Good bar, good vibe and great staff.

Solid bar and staff was friendly enough to put on our requested game! The drinks are priced well with standard selection, nothing amazing. The vibe isn't the best but it was clean. Dissapointing that music is only played if paid for.

Friendly, warm and clean and a great pint! Looks likes a carry out from outside but inside is a nice pub.

Good for the Fitba and other Sports - Great Games Room. Friendly staff and punters. Highly recommend popping in for a pint.

Maggie is the best! What a sweetheart to put up with a couple of loud Americans. We couldn't have had a better night and were lucky to stumble into a great "local".

Went 3 nights in a row on our recent trip here. Maggie behind the bar could not have been more helpful. Even dropped us off at the hotel after closing which is unheard of now a days. They have a pool table which is free to use on a Tuesday and 2 dart boards. Highly recommended!
