Just got a delivery, and I'm never usually fussy with food but this was ridiculous. The battered sausages were so greesy that the batter literally fell off the sausage. My hands had a layer of grease on them just from sorting it out

Staff are friendly food was nice though fish was quite greasy.

Got chips onion rings and mushy peas tonight and the onion rings were that greasy the batter had completely fell of the onions and the grease was like a brown colour swimming around the paper and I paid £7.10 for that ! Threw most of in the bin. Will stick to the golden cod from now on 🤬

Probably the nicest pasties I’ve eaten. Really clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Definitely give it a go.

Nice enough chippy. Glad they are accepting card again as it was cash only for a while. Had the pastie supper with curry sauce and curry cheese chip.

I’ve been coming to the Sunflower regularly for about 15 years. Although it’s bad it’s ups and downs, post-COVID I’ve found it to be the best chippy in Lisburn. I only get home about 4 times a year now and it’s my first stop. By far the freshest chips, and the pasties are excellent (they also offer pink pasties too!) The service is wonderful and I throughly enjoy my trips here. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Same as another review, chips were good but the fish was the smallest I’ve ever had from a chip shop and was so over done it was ruined. Understand times are hard but at over £9 for a fish supper I’d expect a lot better.

Order 2 haddock and chips, the chips were nice but felt ripped off by the thin gold fish size piece of fish we got, a real waste of £20

The chips were burnt and far too salty. My goujons were also burnt and had a hair in the first one. Didn't have the appetite to try the rest.

I have had a delivery from the first lockdown and have always enjoyed the food. Despite various people, including family not having the lovely food we recommended to them...our latest delivery and with hindsight our last one too, the fish batter was soggy underneath...a huge chunk of greasy fish...chips ok So disappointed and have to say it will be our last order

Food very good but everything on the menu is up in price Again. This is a regular occurance and could lose custom if it keeps happening.

A chippy that would not be my favourite. Chips and food can be overall greasy and hard to eat. There isn't anything on the menu that I would say is great to eat.

Black chips, every tastes as it was reheated 3 times, shan't be going back

Great food, perfectly made pepper sauce and very friendly staff

Against my better judgement went back here and bought a chip. Picked out about a quarter which had black bad bits in. Picked out approx another quarter of the larger chips which were half cooked. The rest were basically inedible too as they were rubbery and cooked in old oil i would say. Will definately not be back. However staff seem nice.

Friendly staff, can order online or via mobile. They do various sized portions of chips..and even the 'tiny' is a good size!

Ordered pastie-supper and cheese - burger. Was disappointed as the burger was rubbery, the chips were mankie and the pastie fell to pieces in my hand.

Not the best value for money, over charged me claimed "sugar tax" put meal prices up! Owners seem as tight as ducks arse & food was overly greasy. Also a name like the sunflower I would presume they used sunflower oil to fry their food but they use beef dripping so that nothing the cook is vegetarian friendly

we went to purchase are lunch while we where waiting to collect a family member.

Food was good, the restaurant was cold which meant i had to wear a coat which was restrictive.
