Urban Fire in Lisburn

Went for breakfast and it was amazing, the potato bread stack is 10/10. Service was brilliant and stayed for cocktails which were gorgeous. Caoimhe is also a brilliant host! Really recommend. Outside is very nice to sit and enjoy your drink after food

Poleglass and Twinbrook etc needed a restaurant like this one for a very long time. Starters Chicken tempura & honey chilli chicken are world beaters. Best main I've had so far was the stuffed chicken with a white wine mushroom sauce served with soft buttered mash and the best vegetables you will find broccoli stems and carrots something else. Daughter had the smore brownie and I had the warm fudge cake what a dessert to end the meal. Kids menu is great very reasonable with plenty of options inc pizza which my daughter loved. Sides I had were Saute potatoes and gravy which were lovely. I love the fact they serve soft drinks in a tall cold glass nice an refreshing. Cannot wait to go back I highly recommend. 🇮🇪

En general fue una buena experiencia, aunque algunas de las otras camareras sonaron un poco grosero para algunos otros clientes que vinieron después de nosotros.

Decidí llevar a mi prima y a su marido a cenar. Entramos con nuestras botellas de vino para que la camarera agradable nos dijera que UF ahora es un restaurante con licencia. Miré el menú y mi pedido habitual de pollo roulade ya no estaba disponible. Estaba tan decepcionado y quería irme, especialmente cuando vi los precios de las comidas. Opté por el pollo supremo. La salsa de setas era absolutamente hermosa, pero el resto no era genial para el precio. Mordí lo que pensé que era parte de un trozo de pollo y casi vomito. Era un trozo grande de grasa bañada como un trozo de pollo. Esperaba salir y pagar en must £ 50 por la cuenta, llegó a casi £ 80. Nunca voy a comer er estar de vuelta en UF.

Really nice meal with my wife and daughter. Wife had Roast Beef, I had the double smash burger, and daughter had spaghetti. All were really tasty, friendly service too. Will definitely return.

Hace poco escuché hablar de este restaurante y me sorprendió saber que ha estado abierto durante 4 años. La visibilidad del restaurante no es ideal, especialmente cuando está oculto a la vista. El espacio exterior podría estar mejor iluminado, ya que el alumbrado público no es genial. Dentro del restaurante, el espacio entre las mesas era simplemente bueno, el servicio era genial, y el personal era servicial y hablador. El retorno de la puerta principal podría ajustarse, de modo que se cierre mucho más rápido y restrinja el flujo de aire frío que entra para cambiar la temperatura mientras come su comida. El asiento del banco es un poco demasiado alto y mido 5 '8 "de altura. En cuanto a la comida, la Cesta de Pollo Frito del Sur es para aquellas personas que tienen hambre de apetito. La selección del desierto era buena, y la recomendación del personal para Chocolate Delice era justo para nosotros. Chocolate suave con helado de vainilla y una ráfaga de bayas. Cuando visite de nuevo, sería bueno ver un menú más pequeño, para que pueda beneficiar una mayor mejora en la calidad. Gracias chicos.

Had a wonderful breakfast! ☺️. Downside is that they are only accepting cash for orders under £75. Which is likely most people. 😞 There is a sign on the door but small and can't see it when the door is open. So we didn't notice it and only found out when we went to pay and were forced to walk to the shopping centre next door to get cash. Maybe put signs on the tables or have the wait staff point this out when ordering. Honestly, post COVID don't really carry cash andi suspect many others don't either.

Lovely place, highly recommend for vegans. James the chef is amazing as coming up with recipes for vegans, I had a breakfast and have to say it was the nicest breakfast I've ever had. All the food he cooks is amazing. I'd hire him as my personal chef if I could. Great place, nice and chilled out atmosphere.

Such a lovely meal, I eat out a lot and this is the best meal I've had in a while, apart from when I was here a month ago! The meals here would cost a lot more in Belfast City centre. I started with a dish of scallops, apple, black pudding and pancetta, amazing mix of flavours. For a main I had salmon, pancetta, pear puree sauteed potatoes and roasted onion, absolutely beautiful. The chef, Gary, is first class, the dessert was every bit as good as the first two courses, as was the wine! Staff were soo friendly, welcoming and helpful. The restaurant and toilets were spotless. The only fault I can find, is that the atmosphere is lacking slightly, it is very bright, but that is me trying to find a negative!

Yo y 3 amigos reservamos una mesa para las 6 pm viernes 23 / 08 / 2024. Una novia es vegana y quedó impresionada por la variedad de platos en el menú. Pueden convertir muchas de sus comidas en una alternativa vegana. El plato vegano bang bang ‘pollo’ era delicioso. Yo mismo fui por la hamburguesa de remolacha y no decepcionó. Esta joya escondida es un lugar increíble. El personal que atiende las mesas es honestamente tan amable y servicial - nada es un problema. La comida es deliciosa, el ambiente tan frío y los platos son honestamente una obra de arte. La comida era tan buena que reservé una mesa para mí y mi marido para el sábado por la noche.

Yet another fabulous dining experience in this popular place. I took my granddaughter out for dinner as a treat. Service by the staff and food presented to us both was as tasty as ever.

Entrégate. Y consiga un mejor chef y deje de esperar que los clientes paguen por la avaricia del personal que espera una avaricia increíble de los propietarios... esto no es América, Irlanda.

We had a fantastic dining experience at Urban Fire Restaurant. The burger was juicy and flavorful, the BBQ ribs were tender and smoky, and the seafood chowder soup was rich and delicious. The lovely atmosphere and great food made for a perfect meal. Highly recommended

Great food, great service - MASSIVE portions.

Called in for a casual dinner mid week. Once we got past the graveyard of cigarette butts at the door we were quickly seated by a pleasant waitress. Bench seats were way too high for the table height so not comfortable seating. Menu looked good, classy. Food arrived...all luke warm and overpriced for the size and quality. Green bean side was very overcooked and so soggy it would barely stay on the fork. One small flattened chicken breast with 2 onion rings was £16. Garlic and parm fries consisted of luke warm (yet crispy) fries with a layer of hardened parm on top that could be lifted off in one piece. Very disappointing, unsure if this is just a pizza takeout place that is trying to do a dinner menu with no chef. Overpriced for low quality food but nice restaurant interior.

Booked her for a large party for a communion celebration and couldn't fault it. Food was beautiful and all enjoyed and service was amazing. Francine looked after us all so well in the run up to the day and on the day. I can see why this place is so popular. Highly recommend the cauliflower tempura... and I am not a vegetarian 😄

The staff where lovely and the place was busy but I got a burger that wasn't great and the missus got buffalo chicken that didn't taste the best and I have never did a bad review before so don't feel good about doing this but just being honest. Food needs upgrading but staff and venue are spot on ⭐⭐⭐

Awful service. Over priced food and drink. £2.60 for a small water. Long wait for food. Wrong food served. No cutlery or napkins with main course. Served tiny chip ends for chunky chips. Shame. The place used to be good. Noone asked if food was ok. 1st time ever I have not tipped in a restraunt. Sadly wont be back.

Sitting in Urban Fire coming down off the high that was provided by their cheesecake dessert (and delicious main course). I've never tasted cheesecake so good. Lovely welcoming staff, great service and fantastic value for money.

We booked online and were told upon arrival that we only had the table until 3pm. Which would have been fine but we had to wait some time for them to take our order. It was a set 3 course menu. There was then a delay between the starter and main and then at 2.55 they told us our desserts would have to be given to go even though we’d eaten our meals fast. They said they told us we arrived we only had the table to 3 but the onus was on them to take orders and serve the food quickly which didn’t happen- it was us pushing to order. We asked them just to take desserts off the menu and there was initial reluctance to even do that as “it's a set menu” but they did check and took it off. They said did you book online- we said yes and we said it shouldn’t allow 90 minute slots if the food can’t be served in that time- they said most people just phone in and that’s just the way the system works. This really ruined our experience on Mother’s Day.

We were visiting Colin Glen park for the day, and went here following a staff recommendation. Rang and booked hour beforehand, 9 and 2 children. Top class - highly recommend Food was delicious, good portion sizes and good variable menu! Staff were very responsive, friendly and nothing was too much trouble Restaurant was clean, nice atmosphere and plenty of room around table

We went on Saturday 30/12/2023 myself and my husband 2 starters 2 pizza ,I had mussels and shrimp it was cold the pizza seemed to be a pre made base ,it definitely was not freshly made pizza dough,we having been going to urban fire since it opened and this was the first time I had a bad meal I don't think I'll be back ,I did tell the waitress the starter wasn't hot ,not her fault but there was no apology I won't be recommending urban fire

Went out of there way to fit us in on short notice. The customer service was excellent.. nothing was to much with changing items from menu etc and quality of the food and presentation top class. Local gem of a place.

The food wasn't bad, very small portions though and the chicken tempura had tough, chewy batter on it. The staff were friendly but this wasn't enough to make up for the mediocre food. Will go back to try the pizza but wouldn't be anywhere near the top of my list of places to eat

We went here for my daughter's birthday meal which happened to be on Father's Day. I usually love this place, but unfortunately we were very disappointed this time. Although the food was lovely and the staff themselves were friendly there were lots of negatives. It took approximately 40 mins before our order was taken (no drinks order taken), we had to ask for more room to sit, although the table was pre booked and they were aware of the size of our party. We had to ask several times for more napkins, drinks, cutlery etc. Food took a long time to be served, which was an hour and a half after our booked time, the kids were all starving! We had a cake to be brought out and I had to ask 3 times for this. It all seemed very haphazard with the food being served in dribs and drabs. Maybe they were understaffed? When we were presented with the bill, there was a hefty service charge added, now I don't mind paying a tip for good service, but this is not what we got! It was very disappointing all round. I'm hoping this is just a one off, but I'm not sure we would go back.

I had a wonderful experience at this place. The meal was excellent, and the staff was incredibly helpful, always willing to accommodate any requests. As someone with simpler food preferences, the staff were very kind. It's a great place in our local community. I highly recommend trying their delicious pizzas.

Great place. Can get realy busy at peak times, so book. Though a visit off-peak just as good. Have been a number of times and thoroughly enjoy.

The staff are amazing so friendly and work really hard. The food is the best food in Northern Ireland ! The food is such high quality and fresh and full of flavour I can honestly say this is leaps and bounds ahead of any restaurant I just had the pulled beef samwitch and it was the softy meat melted like butter. Was so amazing I had to get Ina and leave a review right away people need to know about this place with the best staff and food that goes way beyond the taste and freshness of any were I’ve eaten

A group of us went here for dinner, it was my first time, I had high expectations as the group I was with had told me it was a great place to eat. We had booked a table. Our drinks order was taken shortly after we sat down but it took over 20 minutes before our food order was taken and another 40 mins wait for food to arrive, I wouldn't of minded the wait but we were hurried out at the end. I had chicken stack with pepper sauce, it was OK for the price and my husband had a pizza which he said was ok but a bit bland tasting. Lantern style paper lampshades above the booths need dusting.

Update April 2023 Went last week, it was a lot quieter and the food was even better! I think the loo issues I mentioned have been addressed so props to them for listening to reviews! Now I'm full on 5*! I'll say again had the restaurant been on the Lisburn Rd, Botanic or any of the popular areas to eat out, I'd say it would be impossible to get a booking. So please don't move lol! 😂 Went here the night before Christmas Eve. Location: Location is surprising being its at the side/back of a shopping centre. I truly think a different location and you would have serious trouble getting a booking! Atmosphere: It's loud, boisterous and energetic. Not necessarily a bad thing but if you want a quiet meal perhaps this isn't the place to go. Not sure if this was due to the season or its like this all the time. Food: Food was fabulous! Plenty of variety, really tasty and good portion sizes. I got the mushrooms to start and they were gorgeous, they were breaded with a cheese filling, gorgeous! Then I got the smoky stack burger and it was a proper homemade burger and was gorgeous. Chips were fabulous! I've been going off chips recently as they were seeming to be all the same; tasteless and seemed to be made with either a processed or potato substitute but these were proper boiling hot, crispy, very bold 😁 but light and absolutely gorgeous homemade chips. I didn't get dessert but my sister said her brownie was to die for. Service: Service was great, plenty of staff, helpful but not the overly attentiveness that I don't like. Accessibility: I add this bit in as I need somewhere accessible. This is were it falls down a little. The door is difficult to get into. It's wide enough but very heavy, thankfully another patron held the door open for my Mum and I or it would have been very difficult to get in. The tables are very close together, this made it very difficult to get a rollator around and in fact they had to move chairs to allow us past. This made the initial impression not very favourable and I was a bit frazzled by the time I sat down. Lastly the toilets. There was no separate disabled toilet. The main toilet was made accessible too. This isn't always a good thing. Disabled people for obvious reasons need longer to go to the toilet and then if someone able bodied is in them then the disabled person has to wait, which again isn't great. Also the toilet roll was out of the dispenser and on the floor which makes it difficult for a disabled person to get not to mention the germ factor! Lastly there was ordinary liquid soap (like carex) which was almost empty. The pump had been taken out to get the very last dregs out. This would be difficult for a person with limited hand strength and again there's the germ factor. Overall I think the food massively saved the place. If it hadn't of been as good as it was I think the accessibility issues would have really stressed me out and gotten me frustrated and interfered with my enjoyment of the meal, so thankfully my lasting impression is fantastic and I look forward to going back. I'd just make sure to get a table at the front of the restaurant and hopefully they see this and change the small things in the grand scheme of the toilets. 8.5/10 but could have easily been a 9.5/10!

This is our second time at Urban Fire tonight. We found the staff extremely helpful. We had one in our group who has celiac disease and therefore cant take gluten. The waitress did everything she could to accommodate. The meals were all lovely and we came out stuffed. Would highly recommend to anyone. One useful thing for the owner... It would be good to have a dedicated menu with a few items that are gluten free, this would save the staff a lot of trips to the chef to find out what they can tweek to accommodate those with a gluten intolerance or are celiac.

Called in for lunch and both food and service was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Little hidden gem, lovely food, good service and reasonable prices. It's BYO so if you want to have a drink with dinner bring it with you. Able to accommodate large booking of 12 adults and 5 children.

Not long home from here and the meal was great. Staff very attentive and nothing too much bother for them. I am a very plain eater and the waitress so so nice about changing sauces etc for me. Very generous size portions. Definitely value for money. Great to have such a lovely place in our local community.

Had lunch here and the food wasnt bad it was just ok. Honestly not worth the money was charged £50 for 2 starters and 2 mains. For some places that's not bad but not this place. 4 our star prices for 2 star food. Honestly I would recomend going somewhere else. Highly overpriced for the the quality of the food.

Horrible experience. Over 2,5 h waiting time when the Staff told 1h. Food wasnt even warm when finally arrived. No apologies or explanation about delay. Not worth of waiting time. If you're not able to deal with that many orders dont accept them or be honest about actual waiting time.

Burger was nice,but chips wasn't great very hard,milk shake didn't taste good, have to say staff were friendly and helpful,but won't be returning
