Ordered from here last night ,we have been a few times before and it has been acceptable for quick food most the time if you order basic items that aren't challenging. The standard of the food isn't great, but when others aren't open it will do. It serves a very English version of Chinese / Cantonese food, with clearly alot of bought in jars/ powders being used Last night I thought I'd see if they can make hot and sour soup unfortunately I was sick within eating a few mouthfuls, my best guess is that the cornflour and water mix was old, didn't even get to my main. Not the first time I might add, thought I'd give it another go as maybe I was wrong. My daughter had salt and pepper something or other,I've tried before they are over cooked deep fried and covered in extra amounts of salt, don't believe they have ever tried them, lacking in much flavour other than salt,she said they were bland,no spice and just salty and left them. Better Chinese takeaways in the area that are more authentic and affordable that don't make you ill. Cash only 🙄 why is that?😂

£3.50 for Asda chips what seem like they where oven cooked And the rice and curry sauce was that spicy I could not eat it ( I eat madras so got a decent spicy threshold )

Order taken and delivered on time top quality duck curry/ pork curry and lovely beef in ok sauce can’t fault and looking forward to my next delivery

My usual takeaway was closed and Sun Sing was recommended, so based on my favourite is why 4 stars... My wife had King Prawn Chow Mein and thoroughly enjoyed it, I had Chicken Curry with Boiled Rice which I enjoyed, though I didn't expect to have Mushrooms in it. Still it was enjoyable and we will go back again.

Ordered a delivery and it took 90 minutes to deliver. Only half a mile away. Never again. Do not use. Rubbish service. Had youngsters waiting and they were very upset about the delay. No empathy from the takeaway they really couldn’t care less. Absolutely useless.

My new food place love it here worth an order

This is a takeaway in Baildon and one which we have consistently used for some time due to its authenticity and excellence. The most recent one we had was just the other week and we usually order the same dishes. However, this time it just seemed to be even more excellent than before!! I have the Special with Pineapple and it was packed with gorgeous meat, huge prawns and tasty vegetables, and the sauce was amazing. My hubby goes for the Special Black Bean with Garlic and he found it exceptionally tasty this time. Whatever it is you do, Sun Sing, keep on doing it because we think you are the very best Chinese takeaway in Baildon (and probably elsewhere).

My friends ordered from here as it is their local, therefore I can only comment on the food which was great and plentyful portion sizes! 😀 The service was quick and pricing was good, too!

Zero score on everything….. After being a regular customer here for a while I’m disgusted with the service given tonight. We ordered food at 6 pm and at 7.45 rang to see what was happening as no food had not turned up. They weren’t even cooking it just said we’ve been busy. Nice way to treat your customers NOT!!!!!!! They didn’t even offer a new delivery time …. What a shambles . Guess I’ll cook something myself be bloody quicker….. fuming 😡

Overly salted and quite disappointing

Disappointed that all of a sudden we now seem to have to pay extra for chips or rice on top of the main meal, or so it appears from Just Eat. It’s a shame because previously I would’ve given 5 stars. Please tell me when chips and rice are included with the meal and then I will buy from you again.

Wow. First time ordering. Ordered salt & pepper combi box. Absolutely huge, could easily feed 3/4 people. Really nice food, hot & tasty. Delivery was quick too. Definitely will be ordering again

On holiday and ordered on just eat, arrived on time. Food was hot and fresh. Shredded beef wasn’t as I normally have It as it tasted like chicken but the salt and pepper chicken was incredible. Well done Great food.

This place has given me food poisoning. That was my first time trying this place. And now my last. I have a six month old baby, I’m a single mum and I’ve had to call in the cavalry to look after my son because I’m bed bound! I don’t know how food poisoning works, it’s the first time I’ve had it. I’ll be okay. But if my son catches this via germs I WILL take you to court. You better hope and pray my baby doesn’t get poorly. I’ve never disliked the taste of a Chinese. Everything was either way to salty or chewy and disgusting. I’m that poorly I can’t pick my BABY up and look after him.

Just ordered special fried rice and curry sauce from here absolutely bang on the best special fried rice I have eaten loads of meat and fish the curry sauce is spot on also leaves that warm sensation in your mouth proper Chinese curry sauce! 10/10 definitely will recommend

Best Chinese around at the moment salt and pepper Box is amazing, It could probably feed 4 people. We Used to go to China thai fever but it's not the same as it was. This place does the food they used to do.

First time I have tried sun sing . And I'm not going to sing their praise . If you like Cold hard chip ..chicken that's cold very chewy. .. Cold rice that sticks to the inside of your mouth .. prawn crackers taste of there own . Well this is the place for you .

RUBBISH! food came cold bland and tasteless wouldn’t recommend wasting your money. Rang them up to give them feedback on the food we’d ordered to receive disinterest on the phone and the phone to then be put down on me RUDE!

Ordered a takeaway from Sun Sing for the first time last weekend. Chose various starters and mains - 6 of us eating and all if us chose different dishes. Every single dish was excellent and very tasty. Will definitely be regular visitors there now. Can’t wait to try some more dishes from their menu.

Best Chinese in the Bradford/Shipley area.

Would give 0 stars if possible ordered special fried rice, chips and curry sauce woman on the phone was very rude and didn't listen to my order kept interrupting me and said so you want beef curry ... nooo I don't then the food came only got the rice and prawn crackers rang back they hung up on me and then they brought the curry sauce and chips an hour later ?!? And to top it all of my partner and I had stomach ache and started vomitong and we have been all night I'm going to report to environmental health as we had food poisoning DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE UNLESS YOU WANT FOOD POISONING !!!!!!!!!!!!

Food missing and very small portions. Sweet and sour sauce is rank. Lost 5 people's custom now. Was alot better before the flooding happened!

Ordered food from here 1 hour 25 mins still not arrived I called and asked where my order was to be faced by a very argumentative rude Chinese lady, she advised me it had not been started to be cooked as they were busy. Why take my order if the could not deliver. STAY AWAY VERY RUDE STAFF. SHOULD NECER OF REOPENED AFTER THE FLOODS.

Probably the best I have had from a takeaway

Got my first meal from here for a long time on Sunday evening (about 6.00pm) the Beef curry tasted a little funny and zingy , chips cold and over cooked I ate it up then all the fun and games started at about 11.30 pm as I rushed to the toilet and was violently sick (I had been fine all day) this continued for 3 hours (8 visits to the toilet) I have been off work all day and still feel ill, I have to container and that is going to the environmental health for checking ...... hasten to add I wont be returning again ....

So glad to be able to order now after the refurbishment and worth the wait.The food and service is excellent and by best the far in the district after trying many more but sun sing is 5 star

Fantastic food very friendly front of house staff

I'm glad to see the whole place looking brand new. What is even more reassuring is that the food and service have remained the same. My favourite thing is the salt and pepper chips - Not too salty, not too bland

Sadly these guys were a victim of the floods 9 months ago but now they're back...and thankfully nothing has changed. Excellent food, prompt and polite delivery - always consistent, it's great every time.
