Maxim's in Bradford

Been using Maxim's for a while now and I think that they are the best in our area. Tasty food every time. Well done Maxim's.

Good food not as good as it used to be.

Want overly impressed, the food wasn’t particularly tasty. It was bland and boring, it looked ok. I dont think I will be trying it from there again tho.

Went down last night for a pre-weekend treat for myself, the wife and kids, and it went down an absolute hit! Haven't had Chinese in over a year due to other establishments being a little underwhelming closer to home for us, but we'll definitely be ordering more in the future. The food is really well cooked and flavoured, and the soft noodles were superb.

Having ordered food for just over £35 they then added on another £1.50 delivery charge . It's no more than 5 mins from my house by car obviously I couldn't go to collect because I had a couple of glasses of vino . Plus the chicken in curry was very hard and chewy definitely not fresh that's for sure

Fantastic food freshly cooked cash only But cash machine next door food is spot on and I believe if anyone had a problem with the food it would be corrected ASAP

Used this takeaway for years always been fabulous Last time we ordered not great, arrived late and cold so we haven’t ordered for a while……. Everyone is allowed a bad day! Ordered today, really looking forward to lovely food. Should arrive within an hour 👍 Over an hour later … no food, called it in, new driver on route …. Food cancelled, very disappointed We will not order again

Beautiful food great friendly service. Beef curry fried rice and chips yummy.. Husband has had chicken curry said its the best chinese he's ever had.. Both had the roasted spring chicken and chips was beautiful.. Prawn crackers nice too.

Food is just yummy. So I finished eating ALL as filled my tummy n from being just perfectly tasty food.

Great menu, cheerful staff, top quality ingredients, great value - the best takeaway within ten miles. We've been using this Chinese for years and we've never had anything but the very best. I wholeheartedly recommend them - and neighbours share my opinion.

Ordered for the first time, the food came on time, hot, it was lovely, definitely order from here again.

Always get what you order, tasty. Crispy salt and pepper chicken starter yummy. Don't have to wait long for delivery.

Went for the meal for 3. The food itself is great quality, fresh, hot, ticks almost every box. Except flavour. Other than the sweet and sour pork the meal was underwhelming. Spare ribs, chicken in ginger, black bean chicken, all succulent but just no flavour. Also updated the menu pictures as these are vastly outdated.

Decided to try this place after hearing good reviews . This isn’t my local one so went out of the way to collect after ordering over phone . I wish I hadn’t bothered . In all the years I’ve been eating Chinese food ( I’m nearly 50 so you can imagine how many I’ve tried over the years) this hands down was the worst . Absolutely disgusting. I got beef in ok sauce which tasted nothing like ok sauce . Tasted like some kind of cheap 20p a jar sweet and sour sauce that had the same colour . Only 1 good thing the beef was good quality and cooked perfectly. . My partner didn’t enjoy his either which was king prawn and mushroom . Looked like dishwasher sauce . . Who ever thinks this place is good seriously needs help in tastebud lessons . I’d not eat from there again if they offered 10 free meals . Yuck

Despite the fact we’d cleared and gritted the roads ourselves. That my son and girlfriend had been to work and come home okay, they refused to deliver. Happy to take our money in the summer, but won’t come out when it’s a little cold. If BMWs can get here it’s fine. This is not acceptable. Don’t use them.

I dabbled in some of the Chinese sort and landed in a food genre that was quite magnificent, I would recommend this place to anyone that lived within a 100 mile radius it was better than I ever would have thought, very epic

Brilliant food, fantastic service

Ordered: 1x Chicken with Green Pepper in Black Bean Sauce & Noodles. 1x Chicken Curry with Salt & Pepper Chips. Order was ready for collection in very good time and the customer service was brilliant. The man behind the counter had to deal with a drunk lady who was rude and did so in a calm and professional manner. Good service & good food - Will be returning again for future orders!

Loved the food. But ordered a delivery and no prawn crackers. £20 order but no longer included. Really disappointed as they make the meal and don’t really cost much. Bad mistake if you ask me.

First time going, food was good not too expensive and there wasnt a stupid wait so that was nice. Hot food, cooked thoroughly, good portion size, not a bad little place to go. Very happy. We liked it so much we decided to go again.

Best Chinese Take Away in Bradford

Every meal I have here I am impressed with. The service is extremely swift too if you’re just grabbing a meal when passing I’m amazed how quick it the meal is ready. Always tastes spot on too. Pizza mania next door is great too. Fab pizzas and chicken tandoori grill (chicken, salad, chips and a pitta bread)

Great service maxims is my fave Chinese ! We get duck soft noodles egg friend rice beef curry curry sauce salt and pepper chips and chicken YUM

Love this takeaway very friendly staff the food is freshly cooked to order and like the fact they will tailor the food for your taste if you ask eg no batter on food or making things spicier. My favourite is always the crispy duck :) Very reasonable prices and quick home delivery service.

Peking style spare ribs to die for - enormous portion. Far too much for me and the hubby to have as a starter but we ate half and froze the remainder. Chicken curry and chicken sweet and sour were absolutely delicious - boiled rice fluffy and hot - lovely.Very good value with generous portions.

Great food, staff and service. They're so brilliantly quick at serving, certainly to grab a meal on the go for 1. Highly recommended!

Live in the area and I must say... Excellent quality food... Just love the sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style... Also... The quarter Aromatic Duck... Not fatty like a lot out there.... and they do fill the carton.. not like some that half fill it and keep the bone in there.

chow me in was all sloppy like cheap noodles bought from tesco value range and the beef in black bean sauce was exactly same gravy was thick and horrible . Stick to happy garden I think

Passed this takeaway many times - so glad I called in. The place was very busy but service was swift and friendly. I can quite honestly say I had the best chicken curry I have ever had in my life! Hubby loved his sweet n' sour chicken too.£4.50 each including chips and rice. Fantastic value and a real treat.Going back this weekend regardless of the distance from my house - its very definately worth it.
