Kind , friendly, food was perfect!

I had a horrible experience with Sun and Moon Ponders End. I placed an order, but the food never arrived. When I called to check, they outright lied and gave me excuses instead of resolving the issue. The staff were unhelpful and rude, refusing to take responsibility for their mistake. Avoid this place at all costs—unreliable service and dishonest behavior. I won’t be ordering from here again!

Always a quick and fast service! Best Chinese around this area, food is always hot and freshly cooked and they don't make you wait to long for delivery either I've been going here for the last few years and never had a problem. Highly recommend

Ordered Chicken Curry with plained boiled rice. When food arrived and i tasted it ii was left very dissappoonted. The Chicken Curry had nothing Chinese about it it tasted as it was from Indian Takeaway .The boiled rice was not the traditional Jasmine rice most chinese takeaways use but indian Basmatti Rice. If i had known i would have ordered from Indian takeaway. Whicj i would not as i dont like Indian Food . Needless to sayi wont be ordering from their as i want proper original chinese food !!!

Decent quality Chinese takeaway although the Szechuan chicken was a little gloopy cos the cornflour starch wasn’t mixed well although taste wise overall was good

Squid tasteless, roast pork dry, overall dissapointed and even costs more than other local Chinese. Shame didn't look for reviews on Google. Uber eats had a medal as rating? Really?

Said delivery driver was close and had to wait another 50 minutes. Drivers excuse was there was traffic when it is only a 10 minute drive. Will not be using again.

I ordered sweet and sour chicken with egg fried rice. the chicken tasted like play dough and the rice wasn’t good. there’s a reason this restaurant has 3.5 stars don’t order from here

This place and staff are disgusting watch food inspectors on BBC then go somewhere else. Rat and mouse droppings everywhere. How this place is still open is criminal.

Very nice food..but while waiting for takeaway at least 6 people in and out with no masks on.

Lovely food and pleasantly surprised by how yummy the Spicy and Salt King Prawns were. 100% will be ordering from them again.

Stop eat Chinese food years ago

We have tried a few Chinese shop's in Area - But we just love this one. 😁

Ordered at 10:10 nearly hour later no food ..called and they said it is 10 minutes away....the shop is five minutes away ....DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS BUSINESS...very dishonest for no reason

Ordered at 8. Called at 8:50. Its the the way bearing in mind resturant in 5 minutes away. 39 minutes later still nothing. Cancelled order. Bare in mind I have 3 kids who were really looking forward to chinese after such hard work. Ruined our night. We have know had to order elsewhere

First time ordering from Sun and Moon. Overall we were satisfied with our food and the experience. The portion sizes were good and the food seemed fresh. The online ordering system was easy and we were sent a message informing us that our order would arrive 10 mins later than expected. Which it did exactly. We enjoyed the Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls and the Prawn Sesame Toast. We really didn't like the Satay Sauce and the Spare Ribs had very little meat on them. We felt that the Beef with Green Pepper in Black Bean Sauce was a bit bland. However, we were satisfied with our experience with Sun and Moon.

Bumped into my old student Oscar at the chinese restaurant

Ordered on just eat, asked for chicken chow mein with rice noodles as daughter can't eat gluten, no phone call , order cancelled by restaurant, if they had called I would of change to a rice dish, order was to the value of £40... Don't even know if I have been refunded until I check my statement

Delicious Chow Mein for £4.80 Polite staff and they also deliver with just eat. There are three tables available inside for seating but no customer bathroom. Also they are cash only when buying in the shop.

I use to love ordering from here but recently they have become so slack. I used their online ordering system and it stated that if I spend more than £28 I would get a free bottle of coke. I spent £35 but when my food arrived there was no free bottle of coke. I called them and they just said they had a glitch with their website. Today I ordered using online system again but they cancelled my order as they say they are a delivery driver down. Poor service.

We ordered through their website which was very efficient. I requested a specific delivery time which was dead on time, very happy about that. Now about the dishes. My husband loves Lemon Chicken, and to be honest, it was one of the best Lemon chicken takeaway we have ever had. Note, there doesn't seem to be any option to order plain rice, but I had some at home which I served with the dishes we ordered (see pictures) My own dish, chicken and cashew nuts, was very bland and quite tasteless :-( the cashews looked a bit old (I am used to cook with cashews and mine are tastier). The carrots in the sauce were cut very thick and were very undercooked. We also had a soup, chicken and sweetcorn, and I am glad I did because it was really tasty and filled me up as I threw away almost 3/4 of my chicken with cashew nuts. The delivery man also brought a bag of prawn crackers (not ordered so I thought it was a very nice gesture). there seem to have been 2 kinds of crackers in there. Some very shiny which were very sticky and really not at all to our taste, and some were the usual crispy yummy prawn crackers. Considering the great Lemon chicken and Chicken and Sweetcorn soup, I will definitely give it another try when I fancy a chinese takeaway, but I'll definitely stay away from the prawn crackers and the chicken with cashew nuts.

Had my first take away there today, food is nice and hot, nicely prepared and delicious. Worth a another visit.

The truth be known I didn't hear about this rabbit incident till recently, I have used this take away since Sept last year and always found the food very good. I use the food standard agency ratings when choosing and they have 4 stars which is good enough for me. I recommend this place.

I also watched BBC 1's The Food Detectives on 09/01/13 and saw the poor live black rabbit in a tiny cramped storage container in the Takeaway's kitchen on a shelf amongst the food and the pots and pans. Mouse droppings were seen all over the kitchen. No wonder the food inspectors closed the place down. I bet also, the poor liittle Rabbit was destined for the POT!!!

just saw the BBC programme Food Inspectors and apart from the appalling lack of hygiene, the storage of a live 'apparently pet' rabbit in the conditions it was in warranted an RSPCA intervention.
