Sun Kin in Cheshire West and Chester

Gone downhill from what it was, even a year ago. Recipe changes to some dishes as well as the sweet and sour sauce. Not as "vinegry" as it used to be. The lady can be off-putting sometimes as she barks "whatdoyouwant" that is IF she isn't in the back then you gotta wait ten mins till she appears. Anne ran it better.

Heard Sun kin was under new management. Decided to give it a go. Well pleased. Lovely special curry and Chicken Feu Yung. Will make that our go to takeaway again.

I had chicken chow mien with sauce and the chicken balls for the first time after going there for years. Honestly the nicest I've had in a long time!! Can never go wrong with the crispy duck either. Quick and efficient, friendly service, top notch food. Definitely will be recommended

Excellent food which is always piping hot and tasty! Been coming here regularly for a few years now and never had a bad meal. The fish and chips are very good too! Cash only but not an issue as there's a cash machine nearby.

Just had a chow mien absolutely massive lots of chicken taste fantastic ,also special Fried rice also huge great value highly recommended picture of one piece of chicken and beef all this size

Very poor value.. Hardly any meat in the meals, got special fried rice.. Think they forgot half of the meat that should be in it.. There wasn't any beef or char sui. The meat that was in was cut very small, and I'm sure they put spam in it!! The chicken sweet and sour was very small amount and rock hard. And they have the cheek to charge nearly 5 quid for this!

Stear clear, food is 2 star and what a horrid little women that serves you, she gets orders wrong and snaps at small children, she’s very quick to take your money when you order but if she gives you the wrong order/meal she she refuses to remedy, and started raising her voice shouting that it was my child not her that got the order wrong leaving my 10 yr old daughter in tears I dine out frequently in restaurants I’ve never had this bad attituded meted out to us before, cantankerous

Been using this Chinese for 37 years. Anne is a great lady and the food cooked by her husband Ken is excellent. The special chow mein is unreal, but i can honestly say in my view head and shoulders above all others in our town

I have been coming this chinese since I was kid, Anne the owner is lovlely women, and her daughter and husband. The food is somthing I will always miss as its lovely. The fish cakes are to die for best ever had, and the special fried rice is one best ever had ever, the mushy peas are to die for.x

Just popped in for a crispy chilli beef. I'm not a local but passing through from Lancashire. A Lovely lady named Anne served me and we chatted about Hong Kong. Will certainly pop in next time I'm passing.

Fantastic meal, great value for money. Ann as pleasant as ever. Lovely clean takeaway. It’s no wonder the Sun Kin has been open for over 30 years.

Personally I think this is one of the best Chinese takeaways and fish & chip shops in cheshire ...! This friendly family have supplied takeaways to 3 generations of my family and we’d never had a bad meal yet .. keep up the good work Ann and family . Andy B.

I found the staff here to be quite rude with no manners such as please or thank you. The food is average and quite expensive for a take away.

this is an old style fish and chip type takeaway which also does a great chines menu. Ann, the owner keeps the place spotlessly clean and is always welcoming.

Been getting food from here since school (way over 20 years)and I've never been disappointed, the best chippy in town, tried them all. Always great food, decent portions, extremely good value for money and it's worth going just for the warm welcome. Everyone who lives around there, and further, will tell you how lovely and friendly the place is. If you want a cracking Chinese meal or just a chippy tea , go here :)

I've been going in here on occasion for a while and I never doubt that the family who run this place will have a chat with me that feels similar to visiting an aunt for a gossip and catch up. Food is brilliant - fresh, good serving size and with flavour (no case of chow mein thats 90% beansprout, no other veg and no noodle). The food isn't greasy, it feels somewhat as healthy as takeout food can get. Always leave with a grin on my face.

Ann is very welcoming and her daughter nothing is to much trouble at all when asking if they can make a dish a little more spicy

Quick tea for me and the kids. Visiting the area and were directed here by elm cottage touring park. Easy to park outside and good service. Just what we needed after a drive down the M6.

Pésimo servicio al cliente dos veces y la comida no está mucho mejor - no puedo creer que son tan concurridos como son... Señora mayor ladrando en mí por mi hija y jóvenes dama tímidos que ni siquiera te... El beneficio de ser huã©dio por primera vez pero el mismo de nuevo. Especial Chow mein estaba lejos de ser especial para añadir insulto a la injuria... Nunca más comimos mis hijas izquierda sobre granos en tostadas!

food is really good, always cooked fresh - lots of regulars and repeat visitors, the Chinese food is second to none in takeaways in winsford - they will only serve what they make - no pre-made rubbish!

Family chinese chippy, freindly, good food many veg's grown by owners.Local for me yet I know many people who pass many take aways to get food from here owners know most regular customers by name which is a nice touch

Best chippy by far on the grange...Such a friendly family and always remember there customers Ann and Amy always chatty and always give good service I've been going this chippy for 20 odd years! Don't always get the portion you want but only greedy people will complain about that the portions for me are fine :-)

I love this place, it's family run, most of the ingredients are grown in there family allotment in winsford, the chips are perfect not greasy and the Chinese food is beautiful I've known the lady since I was a child as I grew up close and she is lovely I recommend this place 100%

Went for food here one evening and was very surprised how good it was - the image of the place outside wasn't get but the food was lovely. Very fresh ingredients used and the meat was succulent and fresh. Well recommended!!

For as long as I can rememeber this chip shop has been the best in Winsford.Lovely staff, very friendly.Food (both English & Chinese) is great everytime.Fast service.

The kids love it when we say we are having a treat for tea as they know we are going the Sun Kin. (When you say a large chips you get a large chips ect ) the prices are good and the food is tasty the staff are friendly.

Got reccomended this place for good food and was not disappointed. Genuinely good honest hot food. Nice helpful staff. Another bonus is the fact that they serve both great Chinese meals and proper fish and chips!
