spent ages picking out salad I didn't want, apart from that it was good

The only issue we had that we didn’t have gravy on the chips. And they sent us a completely different ice cream to what we asked for.

Kebab and chips were alright but a bit tight when it came to putting chillie sauce on the food. I mean u would expect it to be everywhere but only had it on the kebab and even so that hardly had anything on that too.

The food was excellent, the delivery driver was friendly and it was a decent amount of food. The only down hill is I asked them to call me when they’re here, as I’m in a house share, and multiple times they have taken my food, and they didn’t call, they rang the doorbell.

driver was very rude saying he had been waiting for 30 mins even though he had only waited 10 mins but the just eat app had not said that it was on its way

My food was delivered looking wet and soggy like a dogs dinner. I was at work starving and I thought let me order fish and chips, I couldn't bring myself to eat it even though I was starving. It tasted disgusting and sour . Even the curry sauce tasted sour . I did not ask for vinegar to be added to my food . That's £11.00 wasted. Never again would I buy from that chippy , i did in the past a few times and it was lovely . Their phone number doesn't work so there's no one to speak to about your concerns. The fish and chips looks and taste terrible.

My fish and chips came wet and soggy, it looks like a dogs dinner, I was starving at work and I couldn't eat it. Summer Road chippy phone number doesn't work so it is not possible to get in touch with them. I am very upset disappointed.

Absolutely appalling, unbelievable and unacceptable, the worst chip shop I have ever encountered. I go in to order a large chip as I’m telling them my order I look down at their hands and I am shocked to see the woman were no gloves while she was multiple different cuts in her hand with a plaster on her finger which is a breeding ground for bacteria. I tried to be understanding and think maybe she will put some on but little did I know she wouldn’t. She starts serving my chips and asks if I want salt or vinegar on it and I said (bear in mind I said it politely) “just salt please” and flashed her a smile. Why in gods name does she put vinegar on so I spoke up and said “oh sorry I didn’t want any vinegar” she the glares at me and told me rudely and unprofessional “that’s not what you said” I’m sorry was I not clear enough for you or can you not hear because of you ignorance? I’m sorry but did they not find maggots in the meat you serve a couple of years ago. And don’t get me started on the state of the front of it looks disgusting and unappetising I just wonder what the back looks like. Never ever again.

As usual food was excellent quality. The delivery driver was brilliant, she was spot on with delivery. Just dissapointed that my kebab comes with salad which i didnt receive. I will definately order from there again as theres no better chippy around.

This place used to always deliver the best. Last few times of ordered I've noticed the portion sizes are getting less especially with these new containers. They skimp on things, instead of putting eg gravy in a container. They put it on the food leaving it soggy. Very disappointed with my food.

Pie and chips was cold! requested curry sauce on the side as they were for the same person, curry sauce came on both meals. one if which couldn't be eaten due to the other person not liking curry sauce. waste of £20

bbq and mint sauce only please there was mayo added last time which i cannot eat

After reading the reviews I thought I’d give it a go yes it arrived on time but lady wasn’t very chatty just give me food and walked off!!..food was warm not hot and yes portions was ok but it cost me more than my usual chippy so did expect more,.

food has previously been very good and well worth the price. not this time unfortunately chips seemed warmed up and hard. food not very hot really dissapointed.

Cod was hot but so greasy and also had little taste, the burger looked weird and really dark, peas looked and tasted okay but were undercooked and the chips had a kind of stale texture.
