Staff are horrible didn’t serve someone with id

Well I’ve just had the smallest fish ever (mainly batter no fish) in this place, so I took it back and got a slightly bigger one (looks like two fish fingers joined) but it’s the worst spoons I’ve ever been in for a fish and chips. Bring a magnifying glass with you if you’re wanting to see your fish Perhaps you could send the cook to Stourbridge spoons to be shown what a proper fish looks like?

It's a wetherspoons cheap and cheerful, does the job.

Lovely looking building with ample seating in a cosy environment. Shame about the crap food. Chicken in a basket included 6 pieces of luke warm chicken and a handful of yesterdays chips. The other was a fried buttermilk burger and chips. Cold and not worth eating. Microwave food at its finest. Complained.... Refund..... thankyou. Hopefully I wont be ill 😬🤧😡. AVOID UNLESS YOUR DESPERATE.

Good cheap food and drinks, refillable tea & coffee

Food and service fantastic, friendly, smiley. Even though I visited at 9am ha.

Breakfast was ok but not great, clean and tidy establishment, cleanest spoons toilets I have ever used.

Overall cheap and cheerful like all spoons. Not that much seating considering it's footprint. Service on a Saturday was mediocre. Pints arrived for table service by the most shaky bar staff. Most of the pint spilt 🤣 Food was cheap but not particularly warm. And both me and my friend who had the ultimate burger had stomach pains after.

I had excellent customer service from a lady called Eva she was extremely accommodating to my dietricial needs Thank you Eva 😊🙏🏻👏🏻🤌🏻💯

It's a typical witherspoon experience. Smart layout. Order at table with app etc.

It's a witherspoon pub, and convenient for a drink and meal if shopping at Merry Hill.

Not the nicest 'Spoons you'll ever visit. It is OK - but looks drab and tired. Always good service and nice food (if you want it hot - ask for it to be hot!) Today, I had to firstly return my coffee mug due to lipstick and dribbles on the side - i.e. hardly cleaned at all. Then we had to move seats because the manky seats were split (see photo). Then we chose a table - noticed that it had no number on (hard to get service that way). Moved to another table where the view of the mouldy furniture was depressing. One example photographed - there were lots of others. Hopefully the food is prepared in a cleaner area. In fact, the toilets were super clean! :-) Dudley, Oldbury and Blackheath Weatherspoons are preferable.

Had the worst experience of food poisoning from here. The classic beef burger and chips. Oh my god, all night I was throwing up. Avoid this item. Won't be returning any time soon.

In need of a good clean and tidy up

Disappointed. Had chicken, bacon cheese panini. 3 tiny pieces of chicken, which didn't even fill one side of panini. Luckily my husband had chicken burger and gave me something for other side. Come on Spoons, all customers deserve to be treated fairly with their orders. Shame on you.

You can never go wrong with a weatherspoons can you.

Don't order the Xmas turkey dinner unless you like meat that tastes like processed plastic!

Food and drinks served very quickly and the quality was excellent.

All witherspoon pubs are very good apart from high Town Bridgnorth two managers it experienced there are very rood , my card wouldn't work so they made me put my pint back on the bar and crisps after I've already spent 25.00 in there. Mostly the staff are great prices are great but they wouldn't commit there self's to a price they had on the Worthington bitter at autumn price of 99p made me pay £176. Thats unlawfully the price is the price x

Lunch visit on our middle daughters birthday. Had chicken and cheese and ham panini's. Good deal with a drink. Service first rate. Always busy, so get in early for a seat.

This is a Wetherspoons pub, so you know what to expect. The food is good and fast. The atmosphere is busy but as it is sited at Merry Hill shopping centre that's what you would expect. Always good value for money

Pleasent enough decor. Service was fine. Was in there for the breakfast, which tbh is overpriced for what you get.

Used to me really nice in hear but it's gone down hill, firstly plates tables and cutlery, even dirty glasses.

Big Weatherspoon, quick service and decent food, but was handed a cup to go get a coffee and it was filthy! Staff were happy to change it, but shouldn't have happened in the first place!

A very nice Wetherspoons, The conservatory is nice. The only thing I would say is that it could probably do with a car park, but there is plenty of parking in the area. And as always, with a spoons, very friendly staff,

Nice atmosphere and plenty of space inside and out. Quick to serve when face to face or via app.

Normal Witherspoon's pub, Great for Breakfast & Refill coffees

We went in the off season, February, can't get any more off season. It was very quiet. Food of the usual standard, not expensive, but acceptable.

So to start this all off, we had ordered a glass of cider with a meal and got rudely told we can not have it since we didn’t all have ID she then walked off telling the security to keep an eye on us so we do not drink the cider, we had also got a glass of Pepsi which was cherry pepsi Next we got given our food I had ordered a halloumi wrap which had huge chunks of tomato in and overall the food just tasted bad so 1 star.

Based at the merry hill been here twice nice place to go is always packed in their when I go food is nice atmosphere friendly

A great meal with 2 adults and 3 children on a super busy Saturday lunchtime. Ordered using the app, drinks came out almost immediately and food followed within 5 minutes! Really friendly, helpful staff. Great pub layout, bright and clean.

Nothing outstanding, nothing to complain about. From my point of view the average restaurant with average service and clean toilets.

Worst spoons in the area for food. Had breakfast here 3 times in the last month or so for convenience. Food Almost cold every time, never really tastes nice, cutlery is dirty , menus are dirty, packs of butter just placed on top of my fresh cooked eggs so they just stuck to the top ??? Quarter tin of beans on my breakfast . Staff are nice but this spoons is crap

Great place for the family or with friends for food and drinks

Well, I don’t know where to start. I’m not the type of person to leave a bad review but I think people should know. My experience this afternoon was awful. The supervisors are atrocious, no wonder the staff aren’t competent. I know the food is microwaved but they could have at least put it in the microwave. They need to learn how to pour a pint of Guinness. The glasses are dirty and when I found a red strand of hair in my food the staff picked it out and gave me the same plate of food. My partner found someone sniffing an illegal substance in the toilet. Therefore, I advise people not to waste their hard earned money here!

I really appreciate our server who was called rob downes he was really help full and helped us while we was gettting harassed by other customers and the mangers that was on Conner Gordon didn’t do a lot other than tell the men to keep to them selves this didn’t help as they continue to Harass us and discriminate against us as some of us was gay and told them we wasn’t interested in them. Our whole group had just turned 18 this year and the men was at least in there mid 30s it made us all very uncomfortable and made us feel unsafe in this place I’ve personally had multiple bad experiences in this place but non that have felt this threatening I physically felt scared for my own safety and so did the other that were there with me and my friends got told off for sticking up for our selfs and it felt unfair on us as well as the staff that was having to tell us (rob downes ) to stick to our selves even when we was getting harassed while going to The bar by said men and we wasn’t allowed to do anything about it they never ended up getting kicked out and we just had to sit and deal with it

I had good food and a nice drink with my wife 😌

The menu is very basic, but the food arrives quickly and is hot. Well stocked bar.

Does what it says on the tin. Great vegan breakfast option, quick service and the refillable coffee is great.

Excellent run Wetherspoon Pub, very helpful manager and staff.

Nicely located next to one of the main entrances of the main Merryhill shopping centre, if you have trouble with stairs it's easier to go back into the shopping centre to use the toilets than the strange staircase inside the pub!! I had the large breakfast and couldn't quite finish it off as it was enormous. Well worth the money. I had a refillable coffee that I refilled 4 time's it cost around £1.50 which was incredibly good value for your money. I will definitely revisit this pub again, much better value for money than the shopping centres main food hall inside the complex upstairs.

I only came in for cup of coffee with endless refills. I like it strong so can add a shot or 2 of espresso to regular coffee. They even have oat milk now. Looked busy but tables available inside & out. If you're in Merry Hill good place for a break from shopping

We go early for breakfast occasionally. I'm veggie, can't fault it really. Could be warmer by the time it gets to us, but certainly that isn't something that stops us from going.

Breakfast roll was fine however not such good value for money as Greg's Pity the Greg's has closed by the chocolate shop in the mall at Merry Hill

Pub grub, decent prices, decent ale selection and nicely located if you're out shopping at the Merry Hill Centre. Noticed a couple of improvements last visit, food served on hot plates and more quickly plus the tables were cleared and cleaned far quicker than usual too.

Food was hot, exactly as ordered and quick friendly service. Other Wetherspoons could learn from here.

It's a spoons you get what you get but in general it's not bad

Barmaid is on a power trip, refused a drink with a legitimate UK driving license. Went into the waterfront branch up the road and had no issue getting served, we went on to tell them that we'd been rejected for a "fake ID" they looked over it again and asked if the bartender at the Abraham was blind.. SNM, idiat

Didn't have mixed grill and abit more expensive than your average spoons. It's a no from me.

Not a bad thing when you’re sitting at a table with a view of half the kitchen and you can see the staff shoving pretty much everything into a microwave. So you basically come to Wetherspoons to have a microwaved meal and doesn’t make it any better even if they only do for quickness on certain shifts. You can have a microwaved meal at home. No wonder the cookie dough looks rubbish half the time.

Let's be real, we are all aware of the shockingly terrible but very affordable food weatherspoons bring to the table.. (pun intended😏).. However we still seem to gravitate towards it because deep down we are all cheapo's.. no matter wat we earn... as brits we love a bargain... and weatherspoons is a bargain.. Kind regards jonathon

Didn't eat and had our drinks delivered to the table which was quite quick but it was a Tuesday night so not very busy.

Ordered large bottle of English sparkling wine a chap said they where out tride to swap it for rosé. Then Heard his manager shouting at him about it. Eventually after 20 minutes we waited for drinks they did have it to have dirty glasses brought! This waitress was excellent kind and professional and said sorry these are the cleanest ones we have! Not her fault but the pub should be ashamed! Food come out order was wrong however I was told I was wrong and needed to get the receipt out to prove it! Service was just shocking and as a regular bitterly disappointed! Food was really good it gains a star for that hopefully they can sort things out Well sadly I continue I used the looes they were barbaric! No toilet roll in 2 and dirty

Had 5 bean chilli, with what looked like microwaved rice and 7 nachos. For over £10 wasn't really value for money. Was starving afterwards. Tables were full of dirty plates and glasses, and we cleared ours onto an empty table. They might be short staffed, but think I'm just making excuses. Won't hurry back there again.

I had a bowl of chips with curry sauce which was very nice. However, my partner had a burger with fries. The burger was dry and did not taste good. Also the top of the tomato was given in the burger. As someone who works in the food industry I know for a fact this is not desirable. My partner now does not feel so good after this burger. On a positive note the service was good :)

Everyone knows whetherspoon pubs are great value. The food might not be first division but it's great value and most of the clientele are there just because of it. There were a number of drinkers there who's language and behaviour was not appreciated by others or the staff. I expect they were regulars putting a fortune over the bar.

Limited menu, no steaks or grills but OK for a quick bite.

Saying that is lemonade and they bring you 7up
