Salt and pepper chicken meal deal had like 4 pierces of bland chicken thrown together with some chips. Food was also cold. Wouldn’t recommend

Absolutely disgusting whole 2 plates went in the bin. When shop was took over meant to be same chef etc clearly changed now. Not only did all the prices go up food has changed basic curry is rank

The food wasn’t good at all. It was dried out and next to no sauce ( the small amount of sauce was laying at the bottom of the tub ) . The tubs were only half full. I would advise you to try somewhere else before the summer palace .. sadly We won’t be ordering again.

My go to dish Special Fried Rice wasn't special at all. Hardly any neat and ZERO King Prawns. The worst I've had annywhere

i placed an order but had to phone them. they said there was no number on the adress and pointed to just eat,can you check to see if the adress is 6 balunie street thank you.

food all tasted reheated and well overcooked, chicken in curry tasted off all food went in the bin, request a refund but heard nothing back. definitely won't be ordering again

First time ordering and definitely won't be the last. Nicest Chinese takeaway we've had since moving to Dundee and I think we've tried them all.

Honey Chilli was far too spicy, I couldn’t eat it. And the spring rolls tasted disgusting. Took one bite and couldn’t eat anymore.

Food was awful and turned up like warm... Noodles oily and mushy, boiled rice and curry sauce stuck together, spring rolls dry and hard and chickenballs were tiny and rock solid. Won't be back.

10/10 amazing food, great quality/ taste. Definitely deserves more recognition and stars. Man who delivered the food was nice. Overall will definitely order again, may be my new favourite Chinese food! :)

This is the first time I have eaten from Summer Palace and I can not say a bad word about them or their food. Their food was absolutely delicious. There was quick indoor service. And the staff are very friendly. For a first time experience this is had me very happy and I will definitely be using again 😁

Food was cold, peking chicken had more onions than chicken, sauce was pink and bland, chicken was very odd and cut into triangle shapes, sweet and sour soup wasn't nice, other chicken dish was cold and bland, would not recommend

My new favourite. The prices are amazing for the quality and portion sizes of food you get. If your like me and prefer proper fried beef then this is your place to go. I can't remember the last time I had actual fringing steak in a curry and not that chewy, swollen horrible beef. The chips also come crispy and not soggy. Big win on that! I asked for hot (spicy) curry sauce and it came spicy. Delivery time was quoted 10pm and it was at my door within 20mins.

Definitely worth giving them a try. Couldn't fault anything. Will definitely be back.

The only critic I would give is the chips and curry sauce came all in one.

First time I have ordered from here and it won’t be the last! Food was amazing! Very hot when it arrived, portion sizes are great, delivery bang on time! Slight issue as they forgot my chips so maybe check their orders a bit more thoroughly but apart from that I have no complaints! I had the 5 item munch box and the choices are huge!

Salt and pepper chicken from here is amazing! Tried spare ribs tonight and they were really good with plenty of meat and sauce. Pre-ordered for a set time and arrived on time and hot.

food arrived 1hr 45 mins after ordering which was just within the time frame given on the order confirmation but everything had to be microwaved before eating. Flavours were good and good portions but a disappointing first delivery from here. not sure if we would try again

WHY DO i HAVE TO GIVE THIS ONE STAR WHEN IT DESERVES NONE? I ordered crispy garlic and ginger chicken. I simply cannot express how far from crispy this was. It was covered in a gloopy gunge that resembled a cross between the tapioca they served at school dinners in the 1970s and the gunge they used to cover people in on children's TV shows in the same era. It was gloopy, sloppy, limp and truly awful. Why on earth market this as `crispy'? The beef with `fried' noodles was another version of the same gloop. Easily the worst Chinese meal I have ever ordered on Just Eat. Straight to bin.

Delivered my food with no sauce and I phoned them to ask them to deliver it back as I don’t enjoy eating dry food. they said they would deliver it in the next 15 minutes. No sauce has been delivered and all my food has went cold it’s ruined my day won’t be going here again

Well no more using summer palace...we ysed to live the food out there.. We just purchased 2 chow meins and spring rolls... O.m.g..there was not a drop of gravy on the chow meins...so very..very dry....the spring rolls were disgusting....

Their food is always so delicious, philip is a wonderful chef. Their delivery driver is very chatty and polite. The girl that answers the phone is friendly and helpful. Our food is always hot, well packaged and great quality/price. If you have any problem with your order they offer to fix it straight away.

Class Chinese cured a hangover dog loved it overall made my week would highly recommend

Terrible service as they refuse to deliver out there area on most occasions.......should have this on their website if not local to the area where the shop is the driver refuses to deliver!!! Absolutely shocking service

Food arrived early. Fine. Food was completely inedible. Its hard to believe something can be burnt and raw at the same time but they managed it. When called to request they collect food and refund, was offered an insulting £6 off next delivery. Customer service is appalling. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Deliver inedible food. Then don’t want to know. So spend your cash elsewhere. Shame as used them weekly for 5 months. Loyalty counts for nothing with this take away.

Ordered food tonight I ordered special fried totally dry crap no egg inside my partner ordered salt and pepper came as chunks of chicken probably bought from farm foods we sent it back they delivered another one all stuck together like it had been in the fryer pure crap will never ever go back

Placed an order over the phone, not given estimated delivery time, just that it would be here ASAP. After an hour I called back, was told order was on it's way, after another 30 minutes I called again as there was still no sign. Finally 10 minutes after that it finally arrived, I had been told to call them if there was any problems, of course there was, it left the shop over 30 minutes ago and it was cold. After 10 minutes on the phone complaining about the delivery time and temperature of the food I was still expected to pay full price for food I had waited over 90 minutes for and had to reheat, but was offered a free meal for the next time, there will be no next time. Think the new management need to get their act together. Oh and the food was mediocre at best.
