Lucky House in Dundee City

First time trying Lucky house tonight. Cannot fault a thing. The guy wondered is was polite and smiley. Our food was ready really quickly, pipping hot and absolutely delicious. Price was good too. This is now our favourite Chinese takeaway and already looking forward to our next one 😀

Special chowmein was Balls. New Rejent chinese all the way but there shut til mid April 😂 salt n pepper chicken chewy and so pale looking…

Only bad thing about my food was it had to by put into the microwave to heat it up.

Ridiculous delivery behaviour…driver dropped the food outside someone else’s door on the wrong street. Didn’t even ring the doorbell of the wrong house!! I’d ordered a treat for my elderly parents and luckily the house in question (same house number, different street) know my parents and purely by chance that they have a Ring notification and seen the Scarlett pimpernel scurrying away from their front door, the lady went round and gave them their food. I left clear instructions for the location

King Prawn & Mushroom didn't have flavour and personality eating it had to add a lot of salt to enjoy it. Doesn't have to do that at other place we normally order. The Chicken Satay was good but not spicy at all. I didn't know prawn crackers were free as didn't see this noted on the app order so we ended up getting 2 bags. Not sure I will order again, or at least not these two meals.

Amazing wee Chinese takeaway! Good sized portion. Very friendly staff. Tofu dishes are on point!! Especially the Salt and Pepper tofu 🤌🏻

Ordered fried rice, gave us boiled rice instead. Chips were cold and not the best, but the rest of the food was brilliant.

Used to be a favourite but the quality of food tonight was awful ,shredded beef tasted like nothing ,curry sauce was like play-dough all just very lukewarm and disappointing

Food was fantastic! Ordered a Kung Po Chicken, Spicy Mongolian, Chicken Foo Yung, Salt & Pepper Chicken, fried rice and chips. All food was 10/10, really really nice

Crispy Chicken Wings served in a sauce. Duck in the roast meat fried rice was really fatty with soggy skin. Fried rice was bland & greasy. BBQ sauce was flavourless gloop.

The best beef curry I've had in a long time.

food was very late. salt and pepper chicken very dried out and was hard. prawns tasted off. whole lot went in the bin, total waste of money, won't be ordering from here again

Without doubt the worst meal I have ever had! Prawns were like rubber and had a horrible smell therefore entire meal went in the bin. Will definitely never use again!

Chips were soggy, salt and pepper chicken had no flavour, curry sauce was sweet, the lid was not sealed on my Mongolian lamb properly so half the sauce leaked out. Also a child in her pjs delivered the food to me!! Won’t return.

Great food Fast delivery Staff happy to accommodate We have used this place for years When my dad was here and couldn't chew large bits of chicken they would make sure he had it smaller just so he could enjoy it sometimes it's the little things

Brilliant as always. Satay sauce from here is done the right way. Chow mein is nice and saucy and everything else is just perfect. Absolutely recommended.

ordered king prawn ball, which was very tasty. Also special chow mein, which was also tasty, but the proteins, chicken, prawn and pork, were dry and chewy and felt like they were left over from the day before

food was outstanding again, the steak pie was amazing, I'm sure it was just out the oven as it was very hot, lots of steak and gravy in it,way better than the birkhill steak pie in my opinion, the young lady who delivered my food was lovely, this is the only place I will ever order from £5 for delivery I have no problem with as you don't have to bin any of the food from here,always fresh,thankyou all so much for all the effort you put in,keep up the good work,

Food wasn’t great at all tbh. Chicken was like cardboard like it has been double fried. Egg fu was so greasy . Don’t think will be back

Really enjoy food here.but for the second time I have spent over £20 and have not had the free spring rolls which I am sure you are meant to get.maybe the offer is ended.lucky house Is my fav Chinese.

Usually it is so good. I live Luckey House and I can not get where I live so when I stay at my daughters place I order it. Tonight the food was so awful. It was inedible.

I forgot to add the flat number so the delivery driver pressed every button instead of phoning me

best hot and sour in dundee, discovered lucky house 10 years ago and its brilliant food here, the beef is always perfect as is the chicken dishes and the service is second to none, there is. nothing they. won't do for their customers and are happy to help, try the hot and sour soup if you can, you'll never ask anyone's else for it

Food was great, but only wee gripe was that the order was incorrect as received chips in place of fried rice. Not a big fan of chips, so was a let down! Otherwise no complaints with the quality of the food, absolutely brilliant.

beef and black bean sauce says spicy on menu asked in comments for extra spice, was delivered absolutely plain & bland not spicy at all same with the curry sauce states spicy was delivered not spicy several attempts made to contact and no answer.

Amazing delivery very quick and great food

ordered at 6.30pm the restaurant confirmed delivery for 7.40 to 8pm. 8pm arrived and went and when I complained the restaurant changed delivery for 8.30pm. again food still didn't arrive. so rang the restaurant and they kept saying food was on its way. Pathetic apologies disgusting customer service will never order from these cretins again.

Chicken was off, called the shop but was told it couldnt be as they make their own chicken??? and dont buy it in! Just eat were no help, got a reply saying every restaurant cooks differently. Very aware of this......the food is off, chicken tasted sour and curry sauce was awful! Waste of £31

Order from here often food is always great the duck with pancakes is amazing and great portion size. 3in1 dish bargain and super tasty

food came a lot earlier than it was meant to so by the time my husband was home from work his food was cold as it was ordered for to arrive in time for him coming home

Been a few time always been good

Food was cold and overcooked certainly not worth the money, an hour late and no apologies from either the driver or the shop when I called to ask where my food was.

it was great it was early . food was amazing as allwas was still hot when I got it so that's amazing too . love lucky house it's amazing food

Food was 10/10, everything was scalding hot and delivered in about 20 minutes. every single thing we ordered was fantastic definitely ordering from here again.

Very frustrating when App is updated to advise food is delivered and then you have to chase it up and wait another 30 minutes.

Decent meal, even the prawn crackers were good. Terrible from every where else.

Arrived very quickly, food good but curry was a bit hotter than normal hence the 4 stars. Still our go to Chinese Carry Out.
